Nottingham Forest overtake Napoli in race for Dan Ndoye
However, now as per calciomercato.com, Nottingham Forest have overtaken Napoli in the race. The Premier League club too have an agreement with Ndoye and are working quickly to reach a deal with Bologna. Ndoye will be their replacement to Anthony Elanga, who left for Newcastle United. It is the urgency that they have shown that has enabled them to move ahead of Napoli in the race.
Napoli are now looking at new options. Reports today have come out about them joining the race for Ademola Lookman. Other candidates they are looking at are Jack Grealish, Antonio Nusa, Alejandro Garnacho and Federico Chiesa.

Barcelona are looking to imminently confirm the arrival of Marcus Rashford after clinching a loan agreement with Manchester United. As the saga continues to roll on in the UK and Spain the latest update indicates Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Rashford from United, with the 27-year-old attacker landing in Catalonia as part of a season-long loan with an option to buy, believed to be in the region of €30-35m. A move away from Manchester has looked certain since the start of the summer but former United teammate Paul Pogba has waded in to support Rashford. Pogba has recently returned to football following a ban, joining AS Monaco, and the Frenchman believes the Red Devils treatment of Rashford has been unfair throughout. 'This is a crazy situation. But, I'm happy for him because they took away his number in Manchester,' he said. 'Manchester United are losing a great player. Unlucky for them. 'It's great for Barcelona to be honest. I'm not even talking about United, because they've bought a few new players and the new manager wants to do his thing I guess. '

England face dark horses Italy with sights set on Women's Euro final
Having come back from the brink of elimination against Sweden in the last eight, England will hope to live up to their billing as favourites when they face Italy in the semi-finals of Women's Euro 2025 on Tuesday. The holders are tantalisingly close to another major tournament final, with a showdown next Sunday against either Germany or world champions Spain the reward for Sarina Wiegman's team should they get the better of the Azzurre in Geneva. The Lionesses could be forgiven for feeling that their name is on the trophy after the dramatic nature of their victory over Sweden in Zurich on Thursday. England were 2-0 down late on but two goals in the space of three minutes forced extra time before they eventually triumphed 3-2 in a remarkable penalty shoot-out. Now they find themselves in a sixth consecutive semi-final between Women's Euros and World Cups, and it would be a shock if they slipped up against Italy. Ranked 13th in the world, the Italians are surprise semi-finalists while England are where they were expected to be as they look to repeat their triumph at the last Euros on home soil in 2022. "I really had a sense throughout the game, even when we were down, that it wasn't our time to go," defender Esme Morgan told English media this weekend as she reflected on the unlikely comeback against Sweden.
