Zoho Unveils AI-powered Ulaa Enterprise Browser
As MENA organisations embrace cloud solutions, the browser has become the primary workspace—and the largest attack surface. Ulaa Enterprise secures this critical access point by embedding protection directly into the browser, eliminating the need for complex third-party tools or virtual environments. The browser's AI capabilities, powered by Zoho's proprietary AI engine Zia, provide an additional layer of intelligent protection. Equipped with an integrated ZeroPhish system, it analyses URLs and web page behaviour in real-time to detect and block phishing attempts before users even interact with malicious links. Zia also categorises and filters unsafe web content automatically, creating a safer and more compliant browsing experience without disrupting employee productivity.
'It's uncommon for businesses to consider investing in paid browsers as part of their security strategy. However, with the sharp rise in cyberattacks across the MENA—particularly those stemming from unsafe and unsecured browsing—this mindset is shifting. Ulaa Enterprise was built specifically for organisations that want to strengthen their first line of defence, enhance cybersecurity hygiene, and safeguard both their data and their customers' trust.' said Saran B Paramasivam, Regional Director MEA, Zoho.
According to Gartner, 25% of organisations will implement at least one secure enterprise browser (SEB) technology by 2028 to supplement their existing secure remote access and endpoint protection strategies.
Ulaa Enterprise offers IT and security teams complete visibility and granular control over browser activity. Administrators can centrally define security policies, restrict downloads and extensions, monitor user behaviour, and enforce rules across different departments or user groups—all from a single console. Built-in data loss prevention measures ensure that sensitive information cannot be shared, copied, or downloaded without authorisation, while detailed audit logs and real-time monitoring allow teams to act quickly and decisively against potential threats.
Ulaa Enterprise is designed for usability across all levels of an organisation, offering a seamless experience for both IT teams and general employees. It requires minimal IT overhead, with lightweight deployment and instant policy propagation—eliminating the need for complex virtual infrastructure. Built on the Chromium framework, Ulaa Enterprise offers a familiar interface while enforcing built-in, local security checks for speed and protection. It also delivers full cross-platform support, working smoothly across major desktop and mobile operating systems, including Android and iOS.
This launch comes at a time of rapid momentum for Ulaa, with downloads and monthly active users increasing by 2.5 times since 2023—signalling growing global demand for secure, privacy-focused browsing solutions.
The browser enables businesses in MENA to modernise their browser security infrastructure quickly and cost-effectively. It eliminates the need for multiple external security tools and delivers native protection that's tightly integrated, easy to manage, and highly responsive to today's threats.
Ulaa Enterprise is available immediately to organisations across the Middle East and North Africa. For more information, visit https://ulaa.com/enterprise 0 0

F5 Introduces new Post-Quantum Cryptography Solutions
F5, the global leader in delivering and securing every app and API, is helping customers prepare for the foundational cybersecurity shift presented by quantum computing. New comprehensive post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness solutions are seamlessly integrated into the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform, equipping organisations with the tools they need to secure applications and APIs while maintaining high performance and scalability. The quantum era presents a significant cybersecurity inflection point, as the previous limits of classical computing will no longer apply. According to Gartner®: 'The motivation for IT departments to adopt post-quantum cryptography is grounded in the fact that advances in quantum computing will make asymmetric cryptography unsafe by 2029. By 2034, asymmetric cryptography will be fully breakable with quantum computing technologies.'1 A Requirement to Rethink Cybersecurity Post-quantum cryptography marks a critical transformation in how sensitive data is secured. Unlike typical upgrades or patches, the transition to PQC represents a fundamental architectural shift in cybersecurity, requiring proactive planning and execution. A poorly managed transition can cause outages and disrupt operations, especially across hybrid, multicloud, and legacy systems. Without the right approach, organisations risk costly downtime, slower applications, compliance issues, and frustrated users. In addition, with widespread traditional cryptographic methods becoming ineffective, malicious actors have already begun employing a 'harvest now, decrypt later' attack strategy, capturing encrypted data today to decrypt when quantum capabilities emerge. Sensitive data—including user records, financial information, personal health details, and intellectual property—faces unprecedented vulnerability. 'Post-quantum threats aren't a distant problem—they're a forcing function to modernise security now', said Kunal Anand, Chief Innovation Officer at F5. 'Our platform makes PQC adoption practical so enterprises can future-proof their apps, APIs, and trust models without slowing down'. What Sets F5 Apart F5 simplifies the shift to quantum-safe protections as the leading vendor providing a fully integrated, scalable platform for both application delivery and security. With comprehensive PQC support for both server-side and client-side encryption—and seamless integration across hybrid, multicloud, and legacy environments—this platform-based approach protects organisations' apps, APIs, and data while optimizing performance. By combining classical encryption with PQC, customers benefit from interoperability and phased system upgrades without business disruptions. F5 solutions also offer detailed insights into encrypted traffic, enhancing threat detection even during post-quantum cryptography transitions. Key benefits of F5's PQC capabilities include: Trusted Post-Quantum Encryption: NIST-standardized cryptographic algorithms protect customer data, intellectual property, and operational assets without compromising system performance. Gartner: 80% of Enterprise Software and Applications Will Be Multimodal by 2030
Eighty percent of enterprise software and applications will be multimodal by 2030, up from less than 10% in 2024, according to Gartner. 'The shift to multimodal enterprise software is a fundamental transformation in business operations and innovation,' said Roberta Cozza, Sr. Director Analyst at Gartner. 'Multimodal generative AI (GenAI) will revolutionize enterprise applications by adding previously unattainable features and functionalities, impacting sectors like healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. By enhancing domain-specific language models, it will improve accuracy, automate operations, and drive contextual decision intelligence, enabling AI to take proactive actions across tasks.' High-impact technologies such as multimodal GenAI models are at the center of Gartner's Emerging Tech Impact Radar for GenAI (see Figure 1). Product leaders will have to make critical decisions on investing in these emerging GenAI technologies to enable customers to reach new heights of value in their business. Source: Gartner (July 2025) Multimodal GenAI provides the ability to use multiple types of data inputs and outputs, such as images, videos, audio (speech), text and numerical data, within a single generative model. Multimodality augments the usability of GenAI by allowing models to interact with and create outputs across data in various modalities. Today, many multimodal models offer processing across two or three modalities (e.g., text-to-video or speech-to-image). This will increase over the next few years to include more diverse and new modalities. 'Enterprises should focus on integrating multimodal capabilities into their software to enhance user experiences and operational efficiency. By leveraging the diverse data inputs and outputs that multimodal GenAI offers, businesses can unlock new levels of productivity and innovation,' said Cozza.
