Kai Cenat speaks about PTSD-like feelings after 30-day Twitch stream

Kai Cenat has spoken about the PTSD-like feelings he experienced after completing a marathon 30-day stream on Twitch without taking breaks.
The streamer discussed the challenges of the non-stop 'Mafiathon' during his appearance on Hot Ones, where celebrities answer questions while eating spicy chicken wings.
During the interview, Kai was asked what it was like to stream continuously for 30 days. He shared, 'I think I understand how important it is to make a promise to my community. That's my mentality. I think it's fine to push myself to the limits that I didn't think I could do. 30 days, 24/7, but I'll get on camera. It's crazy. It's a lot of pressure too, cause you want to make sure everybody that's watching is enjoying the time as well.'
Although the stream included many memorable moments, Kai opened up about the difficulties that followed.
Host Sean Evans mentioned the challenge of planning 30 days of content, leading Kai to speak about the aftermath of the stream.
'It's crazy,' Kai said, adding that after the 30 days, he woke up the next day feeling like he was 'trying to get out of PTSD' from having people watch him constantly.
He described the period as a 'weird phase' where he felt like he was still being watched, noting, 'But you'll be good when you get over that.'

Nicki Minaj turns down Recording Academy board offer over Grammy snubs

Nicki Minaj recently revealed she declined an invitation to join the board of the Recording Academy, citing her integrity as the main reason. In a now-viral clip from her Stationhead livestream on July 10, the rapper explained that accepting the position didn't align with her values, especially given her history with the Grammy Awards. 'I appreciated it, I thought that was a very kind gesture, but my integrity couldn't allow me to accept it,' Minaj said. She added that the offer came before the release of her 2023 album Pink Friday 2. The rapper emphasized it wouldn't make sense for her to be on the board of an institution that has never awarded her a Grammy despite 12 nominations. Minaj also criticized others who might have used such a position for personal gain, claiming many would 'be spiteful to others and not vote for people fairly.' In the same livestream, Nicki spoke about reaching out to streamers Kai Cenat and Adin Ross to explore the idea of streaming on platforms like Twitch or Kick. She even posted a poll on X asking fans to choose between the two. While Twitch received more fan support, Ross suggested Nicki would thrive on Kick, where creators have more freedom to express themselves. Adin Ross stated, 'Nicki, come to Kick. You like to speak your mind — you're a queen. Twitch is gonna silence you.' As of now, Minaj has not confirmed which streaming platform she might join. No official comment has been released by the Recording Academy regarding her claims.

Asmongold becomes 2025's most-watched streamer after adding Kick multi-streams to Twitch broadcasts

Asmongold has become the most-watched streamer globally for the second quarter of 2025, following his decision to multi-stream on Kick while continuing to broadcast on Twitch. The popular content creator joined several other streamers in June by adding Kick to his streaming platforms, a move that has significantly increased his reach and viewership. According to data from StreamsCharts, Asmongold was the second most-watched streamer on Twitch from April to June, amassing 26.41 million hours watched. The addition of Kick to Asmongold's streaming schedule has made a notable difference. Despite streaming on the Stake-owned platform for only one month within the quarter, his broadcasts on Kick pushed his combined total to 28.58 million hours watched. This figure places Asmongold ahead of other leading North American streamers, including Hasan, Jynxzi, Kai Cenat, Caseoh, and IShowSpeed. The increase in reach has also positively impacted Asmongold's revenue, with reports indicating he earned $36,910 from his first two Kick broadcasts. Earlier this year, Asmongold also featured prominently on YouTube, ranking as the platform's eighth most-searched term, ahead of both Kendrick Lamar and IShowSpeed.
