EastEnders' Kat uncovers the truth about missing Alfie - and she seeks answers
EastEnders' Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) is on the warpath after uncovering the truth about husband Alfie Moon's (Shane Richie) whereabouts – and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) had better watch her back!
Alfie and Stacey have been hiding an absolute whopper of a secret from Kat, after Kat's estranged daughter Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) made a sudden and unexpected reappearance after 20 years.
Kat currently has no idea that Alfie and Stacey saw a somewhat troubled Zoe earlier this month, before she ran off, insisting that reaching out to them was a mistake as she wants nothing to do with her mum.
After learning that Zoe had fled to Barcelona, Alfie left Walford to track her down, determined to give Kat a long-awaited reunion with her youngest child.
However, he covered his tracks by telling Kat he was heading to Australia to visit his brother Spencer Moon (Christopher Parker), claiming Spencer was still broken-hearted following his split from Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig).
But in scenes to air this week, Kat cottons on to Alfie's lies, leaving their recent marriage in a perilous way.
After Stacey arrives back in Walford, she acts shiftily around Kat – and when Alfie also starts dodging her calls, Kat becomes increasingly convinced that the pair are hiding something.
But Kat soon has other things on her mind when she discovers that son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) and his friend Joel Marshall (Max Murray) have stolen vapes from the Minute Mart.

As Kat seeks some parental advice from Stacey, Stacey claims that hasn't heard from Alife, but Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) puts her foot in it by revealing that Stacey took a phone call from him that morning. More Trending
More suspicious than ever, Kat then calls Spencer to demand answers and it becomes apparent that Alfie is not in Australia and he and Stacey have been lying.
A furious Kat storms over to Stacey's for a showdown – but will Stacey keep schtum about Zoe or will the truth come spilling out in true shouty Slater fashion?

Hollyoaks actor who starred in Netflix's Adolescence marries girlfriend
Former Hollyoaks star Connor Calland has tied the knot with a well-known TikTok star. The actor, 28, played Jordan Price in the Channel 4 soap for exactly one year from December 2019. Arriving to sell drugs to his cousin Sid Sumner (Billy Price), he soon began a county lines operation in the village. He recruited a number of the Hollyoaks teens – including Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer), who fatally stabbed Jordan on New Year's Eve to evade him. At the time of his exit, he told Metro that bosses kept quiet about the character's death. 'It was a funny feeling [when I found out],' he said. 'I remember speaking with [Executive Producer] Bryan Kirkwood about it, and obviously everyone wants to be working, and especially with Hollyoaks, I've had such a good time over the past year. 'Obviously, I would've loved to have stayed there, but I think understanding where the story was going and what happens in the final episode, it was quite nice to be given this responsibility — this year-long responsibility.' While still appearing on the serial drama, he went public in his relationship with TikTok influencer Monica Geldart. The 26-year old internet personality has amassed over 2.4 million followers on social media since she became a viral phenomenon during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked as an arts technician in a Harrogate school prior to finding fame. Connor and Monica announced their engagement in March 2023. Now, two years on, the two have walked down the aisle in an intimate ceremony on Friday. More Trending Away from Hollyoaks, Jordan has also had roles in Doctor Who and Casualty. BBC admits Bob Vylan mistake after Ofcom warning over Glastonbury live stream
It came after Bobby Vylan of the act doubled down on his actions in a social media statement. The BBC has said staff "should have pulled" Bob Vylan's Glastonbury Festival performance mid set after Bobby Vylan chanted 'Death to the IDF' during their slot on Saturday. The broadcaster admitted the chants, which members of the audience joined in with, during the performance were "utterly unacceptable' and "antisemitic sentiments". The Mirror reports the corporation has now issued a statement on the incident, as police confirmed they are looking into what happened and government regulator Ofcom issued a warning. The BBC said: "Millions of people tuned in to enjoy Glastonbury this weekend across the BBC's output but one performance within our live streams included comments that were deeply offensive. "The BBC respects freedom of expression but stands firmly against incitement to violence. The antisemitic sentiments expressed by Bob Vylan were utterly unacceptable and have no place on our airwaves. "We welcome Glastonbury's condemnation of the performance. The performance was part of a live stream of the West Holts stage on BBC iPlayer. " The judgement on Saturday to issue a warning on screen while streaming online was in line with our editorial guidelines. In addition, we took the decision not to make the performance available on demand. "The team were dealing with a live situation but with hindsight we should have pulled the stream during the performance. We regret this did not happen. "In light of this weekend, we will look at our guidance around live events so we can be sure teams are clear on when it is acceptable to keep output on air." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! During the set, which aired on Saturday, Bobby Vylan led a string of chants. The set was uploaded to iPlayer and remained on the site for more than five hours before it was eventually being removed by the BBC. Alongside the stream, the corporation issued a warning about "very strong and discriminatory language" before it was later decided that the set would not be available to watch on demand. It comes as Ofcom issued a warning to the BBC. An Ofcom spokesperson said: "We are very concerned about the live stream of this performance, and the BBC clearly has questions to answer. "We have been speaking to the BBC over the weekend and we are obtaining further information as a matter of urgency, including what procedures were in place to ensure compliance with its own editorial guidelines." Last night, Bobby Vylan took to social media, posting on both Facebook and Instagram to defiantly say: "I said what I said," alongside a lengthy statement. He wrote: "As I lay in bed this morning, my phone buzzing non stop, inundated with messages of both support and hatred, I listen to my daughter typing out loud as she fills out a school survey asking for her feedback on the current state of school dinners. "She expressed that she would like healthier meals, more options and dishes inspired by other parts of the world. Listening to her voice her opinions on a matter that she cares about and affects her daily, reminds me that we may not be doomed after all." He added: "Teaching our children to speak up for the change they want and need is the only way that we make this world a better place. "As we grow older and our fire possibly starts to dim under the suffocation of adult life and all its responsibilities, it is incredibly important that we encourage and inspire future generations to pick up the torch that was passed to us." The BBC did issue a statement over the weekend, where they said they would not be letting fans stream Bob Vylan on demand. The organisation said: "Some of the comments made during Bob Vylan's set were deeply offensive. "During this live stream on iPlayer, which reflected what was happening on stage, a warning was issued on screen about the very strong and discriminatory language. We have no plans to make the performance available on demand.' Bob Vylan was formed in Ipswich in 2017 and they have released four albums over the years, addressing issues to do with racism, masculinity and class. In a post on social media following both Bob Vylan and Kneecap's sets, Avon and Somerset Police said: "We are aware of the comments made by acts on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury Festival this afternoon. " Video evidence will be assessed by officers to determine whether any offences may have been committed that would require a criminal investigation."

EastEnders favourite suffers two heart attacks in early BBC release
This article contains spoilers for tonight's episodes of EastEnders, which air from 7pm on BBC Two or can be streamed now on iPlayer. Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe) has suffered not one, but two devastating physical setbacks. It comes in the wake of her separation from husband George (Colin Salmon), who declared that he intended to fight for her half of The Queen Vic pub. Her demeanour spiralled, making lavish purchases, showing a careless attitude to the running of the business and splashing out 5k to neighbour Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) so that she can go on a singles cruise. She even handed alcohol to two of Albert Square's teens, which was later consumed by their younger peers. Elaine was stunned last week when daughter Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) decided that she was going to call time on her Vic stint, and sell her 50% share. Tensions continued to run high in the first of tonight's instalments, as the women continued to grapple with the bombshell news. To make matters worse, the police arrived with an update on last week's situation. Elaine tried to remain in good humour, asserting that there were no youths on the premises. Luckily, the women got off without any major repercussions for their license. They were told that no further action would be taken, but they would be subject to spot checks. That didn't stop the bickering between mother and daughter, though. An emotional Linda stormed out and found comfort in George. Surprisingly, he told her that she should consider how her mum feels – but that's not how the conversation looked from Elaine's vantage point. Believing that they were plotting against her, she kicked off and then collapsed into one of the seating booths. Cue the doof doofs! Luckily, due to Wimbledon, we didn't have long to wait to find out what had happened, as two episodes can be streamed back to back. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Elaine played off her health issues as a panic attack, but it quickly became apparent that something more sinister had happened. With Linda and grandson Johnny (Charlie Suff) by her side, she poured her heart out, saying that she was fearful of what her life would look like if she was no longer a landlady. More Trending Just as they thought she was in the clear, she suddenly began suffering from chest pains and fell onto the bar. This time she was sure it was a heart attack. Linda then came to a huge decision – something which Elaine refused to consider. What are the two disagreeing about this time, and will Elaine be ok?
