Charithra Surya Chandran is a 28-year-old British actress most popular for her role as Edwina Sharma in the second season of the British period drama Bridgerton. Born on January 17, 1997, she is the daughter of Indian Tamil medical professionals who divorced when she was young.
Chandran graduated in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the New College of Oxford in 2019 and was an avid participant in the productions of the National Youth Theatre.
In terms of her acting career, she was a part of the main cast of the spy thriller series Alex Rider in 2021, has voiced numerous audio adaptations and productions and even starred in Amazon Prime's film How to Date Billy Walsh, along with being in Bridgerton.
