‘I swear by this skincare-infused skin tint for its coverage and bargain price'
It's no secret that I'm a sworn Maybelline fan - when it comes to drugstore make-up, I'll rarely use anything else. That said, it took me ages to try the iconic Super Stay Skin Tint when it first released, because skin tints tend to drop the full coverage and lean more towards a light/medium finish.
While that is great for summer, as the serum-like formula makes it more lightweight and enhances natural features without clogging pores, I love a full-coverage foundation, and I didn't think a skin tint would be right for me. But after trying the Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint last summer, I've never gone back.
Infused with skincare benefits, this skin tint perfectly balances the perks of a full-coverage foundation while remaining super light on the skin. It offers a natural finish that doesn't weigh your skin down in warmer temperatures and comes in 60 shades to suit nearly all skin tones. And the best part? You get all of that for £13.93.
My always-reached-for complexion product during the summer months is touted as a lightweight foundation infused with vitamin C for radiant, skin-like coverage. It promises up to 24-hour staying power and resists sweat, humidity, and wear-off, which is why it's my top pick for all summer occasions, whether that's days at work, late nights out, afternoons at the beach, and so much more.
With a thinner, serum-like consistency, this skin tint blends seamlessly whether you're using a brush or a beauty blender. Offering a luminous, soft-velvet finish, this skin tint could easily be left without powder for a glowing, healthy look - equally, the Maybelline Fit Me powder pairs well with the foundation, drying it down to reduce any unwanted shine without drying it out or causing cakeiness.
As for the staying power, I've found this skin tint definitely lives up to its 24-hour claims. Though I've had times where it's begun to shift around my nose (my problem area) or has smudged off around my mouth after eating, this has typically happened after many hours of wearing it, and usually only if the temperatures have been high, I've been particularly active, or if its gotten wet at some point during the day.
Otherwise, I've put this skin tint on first thing in the morning before work, back when I worked in hospitality, and would wear it through the duration of my 10 to 12-hour work day without the need for a top-up. There have been times I've worn the makeup all day, then worn it straight out to a bar or to the club, and fallen asleep with it on - definitely putting the 24-hour promise to the test. And when I've woken up, the make-up has looked good enough to walk straight out of the house without reapplying.
Formulated to deliver 24-hour wear, the skincare-infused foundation utilises vitamin C, which enriches the formula to illuminate the appearance of dull, lacklustre skin while delivering antioxidant protection, helping improve your complexion in the long run.
The only downside I have found, which is why I don't tend to wear this skin tint during the winter months, is while they offer a massive 60 shades that cater to all skin types and a range of undertones, I am naturally incredibly pale, and Maybelline's palest shade is still slightly too dark for me. It's perfect for the summer when I'm regularly tanned, but when I'm back to my natural skin colour in the colder months, the lightest shade isn't light enough. That said, I have mixed it with paler foundations before to still incorporate it into my base, and it blends seamlessly with all foundations I've paired it with.

Prince Harry caught 'mansplaining' to Meghan in private moment exposed by lip reader
A lip reader has claimed that Prince Harry was 'mansplaining' to Meghan Markle during her first Trooping the Colour appearance in 2018, making for a 'tense' moment on the Palace balcony Prince Harry was spotted "mansplaining" to his wife Meghan Markle during her debut at Trooping the Colour in 2018, a lip reader has exposed. A new documentary assembled various lip readers to examine some of the most prominent royal occasions over the years, revealing their interpretation of what Royal Family members were saying during these seemingly private moments. One such instance occurred in summer 2018, when the Duchess of Sussex made her inaugural Trooping the Colour appearance, just weeks after marrying Prince Harry. In Channel 5's new feature-length programme, Lip-Reading the Royals: The Secret Conversations, lip reader Nicola Hickling examined what might have unfolded between the newlyweds. As the Royal Family assembled on the Buckingham Palace balcony to observe the customary RAF flypast, the Duke seemed to be briefing his wife on what would take place. Ms Hickling revealed that Harry was explaining "to her what is going to happen and that Paras will be flying overhead," employing "hand motions" before his wife responded "ok". However, a royal expert criticised the Duke for his behaviour and branded him guilty of "mansplaining" to his spouse. Christo Foufas remarked: "The lip readers have exposed him mansplaining to her what a flypast." Elsewhere in the documentary, experts analysed Harry and Meghan's attendance at the Remembrance Sunday service in November 2018, as a clip from the service shows Harry and Meghan deep in conversation, with Ms Hickling providing her interpretation of their exchange. At the start of the Sussexes' chat, the expert suggests Meghan is advising her husband: "Take advantage of the situation," to which he queries, "Today?" She then instructs, "Do it tonight." As their discussion progresses, Harry leans closer to Meghan, asking, "You do realise that this is the end?" to which Meghan promptly confirms, "Yes, I do know." It is then suggested in the documentary by royal historian Dr Tessa Dunlop that the seemingly private comments between the Sussexes could mean that the couple had been plotting their dramatic exit from the royal family years before they actually decided to call it quits.

Top 3 beauty products every woman should be using Hayley Walker, Beauty Expert at Justmylook shared the holy-grail products every woman needs to be using. A cleanser, SPF, and hair oil are must-haves within beauty routines. A cleanser is crucial for healthy skin as it removes dirt, oil, and other impurities for flawless skin. This skincare step not only cleanses the face and removes dirt, but also prevents breakouts and premature skin ageing, helping you maintain a healthy, youthful, and blemish-free complexion. The Aveeno Face Calm+ Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser is a go-to of mine due to its gentle formula that soothes and restores the skin's appearance and texture. SPF is non-negotiable and should be in everyone's daily skincare routine. Even on cooler, cloudier days, our skin is exposed to the sun's UV rays which can be harmful to unprotected skin and even lead to damage. These damages include sunburn, pigmentation changes, and wrinkles which can impact the skin's texture and appearance. In some cases, prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause skin cancer. Applying SPF daily prevents these damages and protects the skin from harmful rays. I recommend the Beauty Of Joseon Rice & Prebiotic Sunscreen PA++++ SPF50+ for its lightweight, non-clumping texture that absorbs quickly for a natural finish and maximum protection. Hair oil has many benefits and should be regularly used. This treatment can strengthen and protect the hair from external stressors while improving its appearance and shine. Regularly applying hair oil can also reduce breakage and even encourage hair growth for longer, fuller locks. Hair oils also target the scalp, reducing dandruff and improving its health through exfoliation. I recommend using this deeply nourishing treatment a couple of times a week or more depending on the hair's moisture levels. The Hair Syrup Rapunzel Pre-Wash Oil Treatment is a nutrient-rich treatment that revitalises strands to promote a happy scalp and healthy-looking locks. Apply the syrup throughout damp hair before washing; massage from root to tip and allow the formula to penetrate strands before rinsing and styling.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'haven't been axed by Netflix after brutal calculation'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's whopping £75m deal with Netflix could apparently open the door for a new deal to be negotiated - for a very specific reason The future of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex 's £78million mega-deal with Netflix is hanging in the balance, with a PR expert claiming it has also reignited talk of trouble within their marriage. The Duchess' much-derided TV show, With Love, Meghan, has proved a spectacular flop, ranking at a lowly 383 in the platform's most-watched titles between January and June 2025. The wholesome series – which has pulled in just 5.3million viewers worldwide since it was first broadcast in March – showed Meghan cooking, gardening and hosting A-list pals. But in an embarrassing blow, it was outperformed by hundreds of lesser-known shows in the first six months of this year – including repeats of Meghan's old TV drama, Suits, in which she starred before meeting Harry. What happens next in the royals' relationship with the streaming giant is the subject of much conjecture. But PR expert Dermot McNamara believes Netflix won't sever ties with the Sussexes just yet, as they will want first dibs on that explosive first interview, should the couple ever divorce. 'The fairytale narrative has stalled, their creative output hasn't delivered consistent returns and audiences are increasingly sceptical,' Dermot tells us. 'There are only so many chances Netflix can take on them, before they're just wasting money for the sake of it. 'But Netflix knows that if cracks appear, or if the couple split, there'll be global demand for the inside story. That's when their value skyrockets again.' Dermot believes Netflix will want to be 'at the front of the queue' should the couple eventually go their separate ways. 'The sense in industry circles is that Netflix haven't cut ties with Harry and Meghan entirely because, frankly, they might be sitting on the most valuable content of all: the fallout,' he says. 'Rumours of their Netflix contract not being renewed when it runs out in September is a quiet signal that the platform is no longer banking on them as creative talent, but they're keeping the relationship warm. Why? Because if the Sussex marriage ever unravels, it would be the streaming coup of the decade. It's a brutal calculation, but this is Hollywood.' Sadly, it's not the first time that Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, have faced rumours that their seven-year marriage is on the rocks. If anything, the rumblings that all is not well have only intensified in recent times, as the couple have increasingly pursued separate work agendas. Last December, Harry addressed the speculation head on, joking that it was 'hard to keep up with' the allegations made on social media. 'Apparently we've bought or moved houses 10, 12 times,' he said at The New York Times' DealBook Summit. 'We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it's just like, what?' Right now, however, Meghan appears to have nothing but praise for her husband and regularly speaks glowingly of their union. During her first-ever podcast interview on The Jamie Kern Lima Show in April, she was asked if she believes that she and Harry will 'be married forever'. Meghan responded, 'Yes. He's also a fox, if you haven't noticed. My husband's very, very handsome. But his heart is even more beautiful. There's something that is not to be taken for granted when you have a partner and a spouse who is just so behind you. "You know, I mean, H, that man loves me so much. And you know, look what we built. We've built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children [Archie and Lilibet].'
