The Zara Outfit Everyone's Been Wearing On Repeat - And Yes, It's Still in Stock
This summer, high street champion Zara has provided an endless supply of perfect summer outfits, currently led by the knit bandeau top and combined knit skirt co-ord. With frilled detailing on top and layered fabrics at the bottom, this Zara two-piece strikes the perfect balance between contemporary and classic. It's the ultimate summer outfit, and after scrolling past it a few too many times on Instagram, I knew it was time to take the plunge. 1.
Knit Bandeau Top - Ecru
Shop the Zara bandeau as part of the set or individually. 2.
Combined Knit Skirt - Ecru
Pair with the matching knit skirt with combination material.
Styling the co-ord is effortless; simply throw on the top and skirt, pick out your favourite pair of shoes, and you're good to go. With summer here and the encouragement to let our feet breathe, sandals are a great choice, but trainers will work just as well, whether you're after a pop of colour with Puma Speedcats - or embracing some of the season's biggest trends with a pair of Onitsuka Tigers in black and white.
But just because it's a co-ord doesn't mean you have to wear it as one – getting the most out of one means styling each piece individually, too. Take the top, for instance, which pairs seamlessly with any trouser (might we suggest the COS relaxed twill Trouser) or a classic pair of denim jeans. Or, if you're keen to keep things breezy for warm summer days and stuffy tube commutes, swap in a swishy, ankle-grazing denim skirt for a floaty feel. Pick a pair of cool girl sunglasses that'll take your outfit from simple to chic in an instant, and if you're planning on wearing the two-piece during a trip to the Med, accompany it with a classic raffia tote Côte d'Azur style.
Shop the two-piece now before it sells out, and if ecru isn't quite your colour, opt for the ballerina pink iteration, which we've featured below. But hurry - this co-ord will sell faster than you can say summer essentials. 3.
Knit Bandeau - Pink
Alternatively, opt for the pink version of the set, or again, buy the bandeau on its own. 4.
Combined Knit Skirt - Pink
For the full ensemble, pair with the pink combined skirt.

Summer fete in Llandrindod Wells raises more than £4,000
A summer fete and garden party held in Llandrindod Wells has raised more than £4,000 to support cancer patients and their families. The Bracken Summer Fete and Garden Party, held on Friday, at The Bracken Trust Centre, was organised by The Bracken Trust, which offers free cancer support services across mid Wales. The event raised £4,025.94, which will go towards supporting patients, families, carers, and bereaved relatives. Emma, charity fundraiser at The Bracken Trust, said: "We cannot thank everyone enough for all the help and support given - there are simply too many people to name individually - but to each and every one of you who had any input into the day, we are truly grateful and could not have pulled off the event without you. "It truly was the epitome of our lovely, local communities and enforced exactly what it means to be a centre for support in the Heart of Wales." More than 20 volunteers helped on the day, including trustees, staff, and members of the fundraising team. This year's event was moved from its usual Saturday slot to a Friday afternoon and evening, attracting around 300 attendees. Steve Deeks-D'Silva, Llandrindod Wells mayor, opened the event with a speech about the trust. Food and drink were provided by The Beefy Boys, Deano's Tiki Bar, and Dan & Tom's Ice Cream Van, while Tesco in Llandrindod Wells donated Welsh cakes. Stalls included cakes, sweets, plants, books, games, and a shop stall. Entertainment was provided by The Bracken Singers, Dai Hilliard, and Llandrindod Wells Theatre Company. TFR Entertainment supplied a PA system and other services free of charge. The event ended with a grand prize draw, with the top prize donated by Graham and Christina Brownley. The Bracken Singers (Image: Bracken Trust) First prize winner Tyler Roberts was in attendance and received warm congratulations from the crowd. Emma said: "The event raised an incredible £4,025.94, all of which will go directly towards supporting our patients, their families, carers, and bereaved relatives. "This phenomenal amount could be used to pay for 161 therapies, nurse appointments or counselling sessions, 80 home visits for those unable to attend the centre or a hub in person, or 536 group activity sessions. "And what's even better is that with this amount, our total fundraising amount since January 2025 has reached £18,459.74 – that's 74 per cent of our £25,000 target for 2025 – and it's only June." READ MORE: One guest said: "We enjoyed our little visit on Friday. What a lovely place." Another said: "Superb day to be part of. "Well done to all involved and for those that came to support." A third attendee commented: "There's so much on at the weekends locally in the summer, so it was great being on a Friday instead so we could come after work." The Bracken Trust has a series of upcoming fundraising events:

I Thought I Would Never Wear A Waistcoat – Then I Found This Linen Style
Once just a participant in three-piece suits, the waistcoat has, in recent years, managed to shrug off its stuffy past. Now, it's the piece every stylish cool girl has on rotation. For summer 2025, the best waistcoats have become a bona fide staple, the kind you throw on instead of an airy shirt for a relaxed look that's slightly more elevated. While this means there's no shortage of options to shop, one specific style reigns supreme when it comes to surviving the heat in style: linen waistcoats. In black, grey, beige or white, linen waistcoats make for effortless tailoring that's ridiculously breathable and comfortable, and one style in particular has taken over my summer mood board – a sleek, tailored number from Aligne. Aligne's Lupin Linen Tie Waistcoat has quickly become a fashion insider favourite, thanks to its airy linen and cotton-blend construction that blends the breezy ease of summer dressing with the polished structure of classic tailoring. Ditching traditional buttons for a tie-front detail, it's proof that tailored pieces don't have to be rigid, which is especially welcome when soaring temperatures call for flowing, unrestrictive clothing. 1. Lupin Linen Tie Waistcoat - White This crisp white linen waistcoat is a fail-safe addition to any summer wardrobe thanks to its cool material and even cooler tie detailing. Of course, it's no surprise that another tailored staple from Aligne is dominating the summer dressing discourse. The brand's Leo Linen Waistcoat has long been a fan favourite, with its playful split-cut hemline and longline tailoring creating a chic, slightly oversized silhouette. Then there's the Daphne Blazer, which sits somewhere between outerwear and waistcoat thanks to its button-down detailing, and is adored by the fashion pack, especially in its buttery yellow and sleek black iterations. It wouldn't be an overstatement to say the brand has a knack for offering contemporary style classics that slot seamlessly into everyday wardrobes. As for how to style the linen waistcoat? It couldn't be easier. For off-duty occasions, low-rise jeans, matching linen shorts and tailored wide-leg trousers should do the trick; finish with ballet flats or retro trainers such as the Onitsuka Tigers (we certainly have a soft spot for the classic yellow iteration). When it's time to add a touch of sophistication for date nights and evenings out with friends, swap the flats for elevated favourites like kitten mules or nostalgic heeled flip-flops. Alternatively, shop the black version below. 2. Lupin Linen Tie Waistcoat - Black Price: $59.49 (was £ 119) If you're a fan of keeping it classic, opt for the black iteration instead, which looks great paired with tailored trousers for dressier occasions.
