Nick Cassidy has done the impossible. The Jaguar driver won the second race of the London E-Prix after claiming victory in Part 1 on Saturday. This marked his third consecutive win, following Round 15 on Saturday and Round 14 in Berlin.
It was also his final race with Jaguar TCS Racing, as he has announced his departure from the team. With the season now concluded, Porsche has sealed the Teams' and Manufacturers' Championships, thanks to strong performances by Pascal Wehrlein and António Felix da Costa.
London E-Prix Round 16 results
Nick Cassidy started from the front row, alongside polesitter Dan Ticktum. The Cupra Kiro driver secured his first-ever pole in Formula E but ultimately finished 14th due to a penalty.
Cassidy's back-to-back victory helped him move ahead of Pascal Wehrlein to claim second place in the Formula E Driver Standings.
The race was particularly special for both Cassidy and Ticktum. Cassidy's grandmother witnessed his win on Saturday and joined in the post-race celebrations. Ticktum's maiden pole came on home soil, with friends and family watching as he claimed his first Formula E qualifying victory in Round 16.
The podium saw just one change from Saturday, with Nyck de Vries once again finishing second behind Cassidy. He had also secured second place in Saturday's race. Envision Racing's Sébastien Buemi took third place on Sunday.
Andretti's Jake Dennis finished fourth, while Jaguar TCS Racing's Mitch Evans came in fifth after receiving a five-second penalty. TAG Heuer Porsche's Antonio Felix da Costa secured sixth. DS Penske's Maximilian Günther finished seventh and was followed by Pascal Wehrlein in eighth.
ABT Cupra's Lucas di Grassi came ninth after suffering front wing damage, while Cupra Kiro's David Beckmann rounded out the top ten.

'Just fight ...': Washington Sundar reveals Gautam Gambhir's stirring final-day message

India's Washington Sundar plays a shot on the final day of the fourth Test. (AP Photo) NEW DELHI: India's young all-rounder Washington Sundar said his maiden Test hundred 'felt special,' especially because it came after a clear, stirring message from head coach Gautam Gambhir on the final morning of the drawn fourth Test against England: 'Just fight for the entire day.' Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Sundar, batting at No. 5 for the first time, responded with grit and composure, scoring a resolute 101* in an unbroken 203-run fifth-wicket stand with Ravindra Jadeja (107*). The duo batted through more than 55 overs at Old Trafford to deny England a win and keep the series alive at 2-1 heading into the decider at The Oval. Poll What do you think was key to Sundar and Jadeja's successful partnership? Building partnerships Survival and clarity of purpose Playing each delivery on merit 'This Test hundred feels very special,' Sundar said in a conversation with Cheteshwar Pujara on JioHotstar. 'I just wanted to fight for an entire day and that was the only message given to me by the coach (Gambhir).' Gautam Gambhir fiery press conference: Slams critics, big update on Jasprit Bumrah, Karun vs Sai A top-order batter in his junior days, Sundar relished the opportunity to contribute higher up the order: 'I was anyway going to bat at No. 5. I was padded up for two sessions. I was very glad I got that opportunity. If I could bat higher up the order in future, it would be a blessing.' On his partnership with Jadeja, Sundar said they focused solely on survival and clarity of purpose: 'We just wanted to play to the merit of each delivery. The wicket was doing a bit. Building partnership was important. The first job was to see off the new ball.' He added, 'We wanted to let go off the thoughts of result and just concentrate on each and every delivery.' India, reeling at 0/2 after conceding a 311-run first-innings lead, finished on 425/4 in their second innings, with centuries from Shubman Gill , Jadeja and Sundar earning a draw. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! The controversy unfolded late in the day, with England captain Ben Stokes offering a handshake to settle for a draw. But Jadeja declined, choosing instead to bat on in pursuit of a well-deserved century. With England clearly frustrated, the mood turned tense. Gautam Gambhir fiery press conference: Slams critics, big update on Jasprit Bumrah, Karun vs Sai Stokes handed the ball to part-timer Harry Brook, who was promptly dispatched for a six by Jadeja. After bringing up his century, Jadeja's celebration was disrupted as Brook stepped in with another handshake attempt which Sundar visibly ignored, walking past with composure as the crowd buzzed. Brook was left with a wry smile, but the incident didn't go unnoticed. Veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle voiced his thoughts on X, calling out Brook's behaviour while applauding India's resolve. Harsha Bhogle on X (Screengrab) Bhogle commended India's dressing room for backing Jadeja and Sundar in the moment. Skipper Shubman Gill and head coach Gautam Gambhir were seen in full support of their players, dismissing England's subtle push to close out the game early. 'When you have batted 50 overs to save a Test match, you are perfectly entitled to seek a cherished landmark. And it is good to see that everyone is in the batters' camp on this one," wrote the 64-year-old. Poll Was Harry Brook's behavior during the match justified? Yes, he was just trying to be sportsmanlike No, it was inappropriate It was a misunderstanding "I have no issue with Stokes wanting to go off but I hope young Harry Brook, when he has a quiet moment to himself, will be a bit disappointed with what he did,' Bhogle wrote. The final Test begins in three days' time at The Oval. While England retain the upper hand, India's fightback in Manchester, both with the bat and in midset, may just tilt the balance heading into the decider. IND vs ENG: Old Trafford and Draws – Another match ends without result amid winless streak for India

With the fourth India-England Test concluding in a stalemate on Sunday, every first-class match played at Manchester's iconic venue this season has ended in a draw — four County Championship matches featuring Lancashire, and now a high-profile Test match. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! As the final day at Old Trafford ended with handshakes and unclaimed victory spoils, murmurs grew louder over the state of the pitch. Bat continued to dominate ball, and time ultimately proved the greatest adversary. Poll Should teams reconsider their decision to bowl first at Old Trafford? Absolutely, it's a risky move. No, teams should stick to their strategies. India, trailing by 311 after England's mammoth first innings of 669, fought their way back to 425/4 in the second innings. Skipper Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, and Washington Sundar all scored centuries as the visitors ground out a morale-boosting draw. Despite being 0-2 at one point, India batted for more than five sessions without losing a wicket. Gautam Gambhir fiery press conference: Slams critics, big update on Jasprit Bumrah, Karun vs Sai However, India's winless streak at Old Trafford stretched to 10 Tests, the most they have played at any venue without a single win. The match also reinforced a remarkable statistic: no team has ever won a Test at Old Trafford after choosing to bowl first. Of the 12 such instances, nine have ended in draws, and the other three were defeats for the team bowling first. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Viet Quang: Unsold Furniture Liquidation 2024 (Prices May Surprise You) Unsold Furniture | Search Ads Learn More Undo Despite the draw, the Test had individual milestones to celebrate. Ben Stokes etched his name into the history books by becoming only the third cricketer to amass 7,000 Test runs and take 200 wickets, joining legends Garry Sobers and Jacques Kallis. His all-round performance — a blistering 141 and a five-wicket haul — was the highlight for England. Ben Stokes press conference: On handshake controversy, India fightback, his own fitness Joe Root, too, had his moment, overtaking Ricky Ponting to become the second-highest run-scorer in Test history. But as Lancashire prepare to return to Old Trafford for their next County clash against Glamorgan on July 29, the question looms: can anyone win here anymore?
