Kanan (MeKai Curtis) is spiraling as he continues to lose people close to him, and Marvin (London Brown) is in big trouble with Raq (Patina Miller). After getting a taste last week, Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays) is officially back in the game. Poor Krystal
The episode opens by quickly revealing what happened to Krystal after she was snatched off the bus to Maryland by crooked cops employed by Snaps (Wendell Pierce) and Pop (Erika Woods).
Kanan's boo is being held up in an apartment against her will where she is being beaten and drugged. When she wakes from a night in captivity, we see Pop roll up on her pretending to be a caring figure.
Pop is trying to extract information from her by pretending to be nice so that she and her significant other can use to further their grip on the hustle game in Queens.
Krystal reveals to Pop that Kanan is preparing a peanut butter sandwich for her and that Kanan doesn't know who killed Famous (Antonio Ortiz), and that he thinks his mother had something to do with his friend's murder.
Kanan's distressed boo tells Pop that she has tried to tell her boyfriend that she doesn't believe it was Raq. Hearing everything she needs to know, a ruthless Pop shoots poor Krystal in the head while she is enjoying her peanut butter sandwich. Raq Surprises Kanan, The Police Press Lou-Lou & B-Rilla

Kanan and Jukebox (Hailey Kilgore) meet at the diner to assess what is happening. After a conversation with Krystal's cousins in Maryland, he learns his girlfriend never reached her final destination, and he is beginning to be worried.
The conversation shifts in tone when Raq shows up, instantly making Kanan mad because Jukebox surprised him with this move, knowing he doesn't care for his mother.
Meanwhile, at the studio, Lou-Lou, B-Rilla (Pardison Fontaine), and Imani receive a visit from the police, who ask questions about the shooting in front of the studio in the last episode, resulting in the well-deserved deaths of Kenyatta and Julius at the hands of Lou-Lou.
All three say they know nothing about the shooting. Imani is stunned when Lou-Lou uses her as an alibi. The detectives then confirm that the bullets from the weapons match those of the guns used during the botched robbery and at Lowery's mansion.
Lou-Lou adds that what happened outside the studio is connected with the robbery and has nothing to do with them. A disgusted Imani leaves as a cold and callous Lou-Lou looks on.
When the cops leave, B-Rilla says the detectives don't know anything, with Lou-Lou adding that if he keeps his mouth shut, it will stay that way. Raq Makes Her Case To Kanan, Early Becomes An Issue For Marvin
At the diner, Raq reveals to her son that she only wants to speak with him because Krystal comes to her worried that Kanan will do something stupid. So she implored Raq to reach out to Kanan.
Kanan finally asks his mother if she had anything to do with Famous's death, but Raq shuts that down immediately. Raq then learns that Krystal is missing, and she tells Kanan that she also has nothing to do with that. Kanan is not pleased with the answer and storms out of the diner.
Early (Chris Redd) decides to step to Marvin about his now-dead cousin, Londell, because he believes Marvin killed him. At first, Marvin plays dumb, but then taunts Early, asking him if he did kill Londell, what would Early do about it?
Not feeling Marvin's answer, Early goes to see Stefano (Tony Danza) and snitches on him about Londell.
Meanwhile, things get significantly worse for Raq's business when David is assassinated at a gay club by a mystery hitter played by Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson. Imani Tells Lou-Lou To Kick Rocks, Kanan Visits Unique

After being surprised when Lou-Lou used her as an alibi, she informed Lou-Lou she was done with him and no longer wanted to work with him. Strangely, we thought she liked him because he was a bad boy.
Jukebox runs into Iesha, and the two grab a bite while flirting. She tells Jukebox she believes she can do whatever she puts her mind to, but Jukebox is happily on her family's path.
We quickly learn the identity of David's killer, and it turns out he is a goon from New Jersey that Unique hired to take out Raq's business partner.

Unique gets another visitor when Kanan pops in, asking questions about Krystal. Unique tells Kanan he doesn't know anything about his girlfriend or O-Cee, which is a lie because he killed him last week.
Kanan impresses Unique by proudly taking credit for killing Unique's brother, Ronnie (Grantham Coleman), telling Unique that he would do it again if he got the chance.
Unique expresses interest in working with Kanan because he feels it could benefit them. Kanan leaves the tailor shop but does not know his mother is clocking him. Stefano Drops A Bombshell About Marvin, Lou-Lou Quits Music

Stefano meets with Raq and Marvin and agrees to help them move their drugs temporarily now that David is dead. Stefano then asks to speak with Raq alone because he has a bombshell to drop.

Stafano tells Raq that Early came by and said to him that Marvin instructed him to take his friend, who is a made man. Stefano says he believes Early. Stefano also lies and says that Marvin expressed taking over the business from Raq, conveniently leaving out that it was his idea for Marvin to take over.
After the meeting, Raq tells Marvin that Stefano knows everything, and once again, he f***ed up.

Marvin tells Raq he will fix it, already killing Londell and possibly will be taking out Early now too.
Lou-Lou's life is also changing swiftly. He speaks with Lowell, who wants to know what's happening now that Imani no longer wants to work with Lou-Lou. Eventually, Lou-Lou decides he doesn't want to work with the label now because, in his heart, he is still a 'street n***a.'

While hanging out with Iesha, Detective Garcia pops up on Jukebox and tells her that he will keep stalking her until she has some information to share with him. Marvin Saves Amber, Lou-Lou Is Officially Back In The Game

Marvin decides to check up on Amber and is shocked to learn that she hasn't been in school for a while. After bribing a school employee, he gets the address where Amber lives now and heads there.
When Marvin arrives at the house he finds that Amber's parents are two junkies that have the little girl locked in a room with a crying infant.
Marvin kills the two junkies and saves Amber and the baby and tells the little girl to call the cops and tell them a masked white boy came in there and killed her adoptive parents.
Jukebox speaks with Kanan, who is growing frustrated after calling all the hospitals in the city and even visiting Krystal's father to see if he knows where she is.

Jukebox tries to reassure her cousin that everything will work out, but Kanan isn't buying it. She also tells him that she will contact someone who should be able to help them.
That person was Detective Garcia, who confirmed the bad news that Krystal's body had been found, showing her a picture of the girl's corpse.
Lou–Lou links up with Raq, and he tells her he wants back in the game.

Raq hesitates, but she gives Lou-Lou another chance to slay dragons and tells him to 'strap up' because they are going into the dragon's lair.
Kanan visits Snaps and Pop, hoping to get some answers about Krystal. Instead, they lie and tell him that Raq is responsible for Famous's death.
The episode ends with Raq and Lou-Lou visiting Unique, telling her former lover, now nemesis, they need to talk, getting a smile out of him.

SPARTACUS: HOUSE OF ASHUR – First Look Photos with Story and Character Details — GeekTyrant
Twelve years after the original Spartacus series signed off in a blaze of rebellion and carnage, Spartacus is officially back—and this time, it's Ashur's story. Spartacus: House of Ashur reimagines a world where the scheming ex-slave didn't meet his brutal end at the hands of Naevia. Instead, he survived, thrived, and is now master of his own gladiator school. Starz just dropped the first look via Entertainment Weekly, and Nick Tarabay is back. The series, created by returning showrunner Steven S. DeKnight, is an alternate-history sequel that picks up six months after War of the Damned . The rebellion is over, Spartacus is still dead, and Ashur has been handsomely rewarded by the Roman Republic for his betrayal. He's now in charge of the ludus once run by Batiatus, but holding onto power, especially as a former slave, proves far more treacherous than earning it. 'The only difference is Ashur didn't die,' DeKnight explained. 'Everybody else who died, I hate to tell the fans, they're still dead. I don't want anybody to think that we're digging up Liam McIntyre, as much as I would love to. But the war is over. The rebellion has been crushed.' That grim tone shouldn't surprise fans. The original Spartacus series was brutal, operatic, and soaked in betrayal, and this follow-up doesn't seem interested in softening things, least of all its lead. Ashur isn't getting a redemption arc. He's still 'scheming, murderous Ashur,' DeKnight confirms. But this time, he's a 'hero of the Republic' walking a tightrope in a society that mistrusts him just as much as it celebrates him. 'On the one hand, he's a hero of the Republic for helping quell the rebellion, but on the other hand, he's an ex-slave, which they don't care for,' DeKnight said. 'He's an ex-gladiator, which they care less for. And he turned on his brothers. Nobody trusts him because he, obviously, can't be trusted. So he's in this odd position where he has everything he ever dreamed of and is discovering it's really difficult to hang onto it.' Don't expect Ashur to suddenly grow a conscience. This is still the same venomous opportunist, just in a deadlier game. 'He is Ashur,' DeKnight said. 'He's the same guy, but in this position he's in now, he has to maneuver in a different way. Is he a good guy now? 'No, he's Ashur. He's scheming, murderous Ashur, but the best way to get an audience behind a character like that is roll out the people who are worse. The Romans, the elites are much worse than he is.' New cast members include Dan Hamill as Celadus, Evander Brown as Ephesius, Jordi Webber as Tarchon, Graham McTavish as Korris, and Tenika Davis as Achillia, the show's first gladiatrice. Ashur introduces female gladiators to Rome. 'We wanted to bring in the female gladiators, but historically they didn't appear in ancient Rome until about 100 years later,' DeKnight said. 'This time around, Ashur upsets history and introduces the female gladiator 100 years early. 'She's just as driven, just as dangerous as the men... One of the things we wanted to do on this show is, of course, have all those great staples of the original — the sex, the intrigue, the violence, the complicated twists and turns — but also offering something new. One of those main pillars were the gladiatrices.' DeKnight also addressed why he waited so long to return to this world. 'The reason I kept saying no year after year was that the show was incredibly difficult to do,' he said. 'And then, of course, we lost our star to cancer, Andy Whitfield, which really took the wind out of everybody's sails… I think I needed a decade to recuperate from the original experience, which was wonderful, but just grueling and emotionally gut-wrenching.' Spartacus: House of Ashur premieres this fall on Starz.

'Ballerina' streaming date revealed — here's when you can watch the hit 'John Wick' spin-off at home
"From the World of John Wick: Ballerina," or simply "Ballerina," was one of our most anticipated summer movies when it landed in theaters on June 6. The next high-octane chapter in the "John Wick" franchise has been a hit with critics and audiences alike, and it's had a solid performance at the box office to boot. In our "Ballerina" review, streaming writer Martin Shore called it "a successful spinoff with thrills to spare." It's absolutely worth catching in theaters (and yes, it's still playing!), but I understand if fitting a movie night in your budget isn't everyone's priority these days. If you want to know when you can stream "Ballerina" from the comfort of your own couch, look no further. Here's everything you need to know about when "Ballerina" is coming to streaming. "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina" will be available to buy or rent on premium video-on-demand (PVOD) services on Tuesday, July 1. You'll be able to buy or rent it from Amazon, Apple or your preferred digital storefront. Its purchase price will be $24.99, and since PVOD rentals tend to list for $5 less than purchase prices, "Ballerina" should be available to rent for 48 hours for $19.99. While the date of a streaming release still hasn't been revealed, "Ballerina" will premiere exclusively on Starz at some point in the future. If history serves, we expect "Ballerina" to arrive on Starz around November. Past releases have taken anywhere between 69 to 180 days to release on streaming after their box office debut. With these averages, a streaming release sometime in mid-November seems likely. Though "Ballerina" swaps out Keanu Reeves' iconic character for a new protagonist, the story beats will be familiar to fans of the series. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Set between the events of "Parabellum" and "John Wick: Chapter 4," "Ballerina" follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), a deadly ballerina-assassin trained by the Ruska Roma under the guidance of The Director (Anjelica Huston) after Winston (Ian McShane) introduced her to the group. Years after her father's death at the hands of The Chancellor (Gabriel Byrne) and his elite team of killers, identifiable by the x-shaped scars on their arms, Eve begins spotting those same marks on criminals she encounters. Driven by vengeance, she sets out to uncover the truth and hunt them down.

When ‘M3GAN 2.0' Will Be Available to Stream and How to Watch
Everyone's favorite dancing robot is officially back, but has she really changed? M3GAN 2.0 is officially here and it looks like she is not the only android out here that's causing chaos. Now there's AMELIA, who is plotting an AI takeover, which we obviously don't want. So what's a girl to do? Well, you're going to want to tune in to find out. Thankfully, it's a lot easier to catch a movie than it is to take down a murderous military robot and we've made it super easy for ya! Here's everything you need to know about watching M3GAN 2.0. The M3GAN sequel was officially released on June 27, 2025. Don't worry, you don't need to build a special program or anything to try to get tickets. All you have to do is check out showtimes at your local theater to see when it's playing and check it out! But she's not dancing on the big screen forever! If you want to catch it in theaters, you're definitely going to want to tune in ASAP! Okay, so, about that... Unfortunately, the movie isn't available on streaming just yet. But don't you worry, it'll be here soon enough! Like all our favorite films, it'll be available on streaming after it leaves the big screen. While it is released by Universal Pictures, exactly *where* it'll be streaming is still a bit up in the air. Normally, that would mean it will be out on Peacock, but the first film is currently streaming on Starz. But hopefully we get an answer real soon! The one thing you can count on? You can still rent or buy it at home via online stores like Prime Video, iTunes, Fandango at Home, YouTube, or Google Play. Or if you're a huge fan, you'll also be able to buy it on Blu-ray and DVD!
