After enduring harassment from online trolls for months, Angel Reese recently announced her brilliant new business plan and revealed that part of the proceeds will be dedicated to a meaningful and important cause.

On June 19, 2025, Reese shared an exciting post about her new merch line on her social media platforms.

"MEBOUNDS, REESEBOUNDS, REBOUNDS... MERCH AVAILABLE NOW," she wrote, adding that part of the proceeds will go to the Angel C. Reese Foundation to help fight against cyberbullying.
"#Hatingpaystoo," she finished.
Reese's new merch line includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, and baseball caps. The items are all branded with the word "mebounds," and some pieces feature a quote she shared last week that went viral.
Angel Reese Previously Said That She Loves It When Her Critics Troll Her
Reese revealed her plan to trademark the term "mebounds" in early June 2025 during a TikTok video.

"Whoever came up with the 'mebounds' thing, y'all ate that up," Reese said in the viral clip. "Because mebounds, crebounds, keybounds, tebounds... anything that comes off the board, it's mine."
She continued, "And a brand ... that's six figures right there."
"Whoever came up with that, the trolling, I love when y'all do it, because the ideas be good," she said, adding, "when y'all came up with mebounds — cause, statistically, all the rebounds I get aren't always just mine. They're the defenses, too, or somebody else's on my team — but when y'all came up with mebounds, y'all [ate]."
She finished the video saying she and her agent were "gonna work with that."
Angel Reese's Drop Came Days After Caitlin Clark Fans Bullied Another WNBA Player On Social Media
The Chicago Sky's new merch line dropped only days after tensions began to flare among the WNBA fandom after a heated game between the Connecticut Sun and Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever.

After Clark was seen getting chippy with the Sun's Jacy Sheldon throughout the first half of the game, things escalated in the third quarter when Sheldon poked Clark in the eye, leading to another intense shoving match.
Late in the fourth quarter, Sheldon was involved in even more drama when the Fever's Sophie Cunningham committed a hard foul on the former Ohio State player, dragging her to the ground.
Following the subsequent ejections of both Sheldon and Cunningham, Clark fans flooded Sheldon's Instagram page with vicious comments.
One user wrote, "Girls been jealous of Clark for 6 years," while another chimed in to call the Columbus, Ohio, native a "thug."

"You deserved what you got," that same user added.
A third commenter posted, "Congratulations — nobody knew who you [were] an hour ago, and now everybody hates you."
"[You're] unprofessional, bitter, jealous, [and] don't deserve to be in any professional league," a fourth Clark defender wrote. "Get some help. Seems like [you] need it. [You're] always angry and physically hurting players on the court. Learn some basic basketball skills."
Clark Has Spoken Out About The Negativity In The WNBA Fandom

Although Clark hasn't publicly addressed her fans' most recent behavior, the WNBA star has previously shared her thoughts about league players being inundated with negative comments.

After the WNBA announced in May 2025 that it was investigating alleged racist comments made by some Fever fans toward Reese during their first matchup of the season, Clark condemned the alleged language and said she stood by the WNBA's decision to investigate.
"There's no place for that in our game, there's no place for that in society," she said. "Certainly, we want every person who comes into our arena — whether player or fan — to have a great experience. I appreciate the league doing that [investigation]. I appreciate that the Fever organization has been at the forefront of that."
Clark Fans Flood Sheldon's Instagram Amid Their 'No Space For Hate' Campaign

The WNBA, meanwhile, announced ahead of the season the launch of its new campaign, "No Space For Hate," designed to protect its players from harassment online and in arenas.

"As the WNBA continues to grow in popularity and influence, we're proud to launch 'No Space for Hate, ' a league-wide initiative to better protect players, preserve the spirit of the game, and affirm the values of our league. We believe that basketball can be a unifying force, a place where people from all walks of life come together not just to watch a game, but to connect," WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in a statement.
She continued, "We want our arenas and our social platforms filled with energy and fandom, not hate and vitriol. That means turning our values into action: strengthening digital and physical security, expanding access to mental health resources, and unifying our message across the league. It's our responsibility to protect what makes this sport so special and ensure we continue to inspire the next generation of women's basketball fans."

New entertainment venue in West Sacramento set to open at former Safeway location
A brand-new entertainment venue in West Sacramento is set to open next week. The Boulevard will feature an arcade, bowling alley and restaurant. The 37,000 square foot venue is on West Capitol Avenue and will be in what used to be a Safeway that closed in 2018. "West Sacramento is growing, and we're super happy to be a part of everything that is happening for West Sacramento," said Tami Thompson, the director of marketing. The entertainment venue has something for families and the 21-and-up crowd. "We have a lot of immersive gaming, we have over 65 of the latest state-of-the-art arcade games," Thompson said. The venue offers spark bowling, a tech-twist on the classic game with light-up lanes that follow the ball as it moves towards the pins. There's also a restaurant and bar, laser tag and billiards. But it may be the 30 televisions and 17-foot "wow" wall that puts the new business on the watch list for sports fans with Major League Baseball a few blocks away. "You can come watch the A's game, come after the game, we're trying to be a regional attraction for the greater Sacramento area," Thompson said. Thompson said the location, just off Interstate 80 and near Sutter Health Park, sets the Boulevard apart from other area attractions. "Maybe visitors who aren't from West Sacramento can come up here and reach us in a reasonable amount of time," Thompson said. With dozens of new jobs created for the city, the final step, opening day, is a week from Friday. There's a VIP event on Wednesday. A paid ticket gets you in first and all the proceeds go to three local charities: Loaves and Fishes, Habitat for Humanity and the Yolo County Children's Alliance.

Tom Holland's new Spider-Man suit has been partially revealed ahead of Brand New Day, and the first look is giving us Sam Raimi vibes
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Spider-Man's new suit in Brand New Day has been teased in a new promo, and it appears Tom Holland's Spidey might have been taking some design tips from Tobey Maguire's webhead during the events of No Way Home... As you can see below, Sony has offered the briefest of glimpses at the new Spider-Man suit. While it's deliberately obscured and vague, there's plenty to get attached to, not least of all the shiny red colorway and the raised webbing, one that instantly calls to mind Sam Raimi's 2000s trilogy of Spider-Man films. Tom Holland will seemingly don that suit in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, and Jon Bernthal. It's not yet known, though, if he will keep the pitch-perfect costume that was shown during the No Way Home ending. The first look at the suit may have come from an official source but, on the more unofficial end of the spectrum, a recent series of set photos may have confirmed that Mister Negative will be prowling the streets of New York as Brand New Day's Big Bad. The villain made his name as the foil for Spidey in Insomniac's series of PlayStation titles. Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits cinemas on July 31, 2026 as part of Marvel Phase 6. For more, you'll need our guides on upcoming Marvel movies. Then, dive into everything that has happened in the MCU so far with our essential breakdowns of both the Marvel timeline and how to watch the Marvel movies in order. Solve the daily Crossword

MCU boss Kevin Feige reveals why Marvel is pairing up Spider-Man and The Punisher in Brand New Day: "[It's] street-level crime as opposed to world-ending events"
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Tom Holland's Spider-Man is pivoting away from Multiverse plots in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day to offer fans more "street-level crime" action, according to Marvel boss Kevin Feige. "I think there's a promise at the end of No Way Home that for as sad as it is that Peter is forgotten by everyone in his life, we are seeing for the first time in the Tom Holland Spider-Man stories, him being a proper Spider-Man," Feige recently told GamesRadar+ and other media outlets during a roundtable. "It's him being by himself, dedicated to saving the city and dealing with, for lack of [a] better [term], street-level crime as opposed to world-ending events that he faced when working with the other characters," he added. After participating in numerous cosmic adventures like Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Peter Parker is staying in New York for his next adventure. It's only natural, then, that his world collides with the events of Daredevil: Born Again, released earlier this year. Jon Bernthal's Punisher was announced last month as one of the major characters in the film after reappearing for a couple of episodes of the Disney+ show. Feige explained that he saw this movie as a great opportunity to pair up two fan-favorite heroes that had never interacted before on screen. "When you do that, you say, 'Okay, who are the other street-level characters that we've never seen them interact with?' And of course, I love that Punisher started in a Spider-Man comic, on that great cover," said Feige, referring to the Spider-Man cover where The Punisher made his first appearance, The Amazing Spider-Man #129, released in February 1974. "I don't want to say too much," he continued, "but Destin [Daniel Cretton]… Wait, I will say too much. Destin is doing an amazing job right now on that movie that starts shooting very soon, and he's got eight or nine comic covers up on his wall in his art department that he is bringing to life in this movie. It is super cool." We can't wait to see which other comics and covers have inspired the upcoming film, which is being helmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton. Filming is set to start this summer, with Tom Holland teasing that the film will "lean into that old-school filmmaking" and use "real locations". The star has also hinted at a "fresh start" for his character following the events of the Spider-Man: No Way Home ending. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are set to reprise their roles as Michelle 'MJ' Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds, respectively, while new cast members include Stranger Things star Sadie Sink and The Bear's Liza Colón-Zayas. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to premiere on July 31, 2026, as part of Marvel Phase 6.
