The Rock
and
Stone Cold Steve Austin
is considered one of the greatest rivalries in
WWE
history. The two megastars defined the 'Attitude Era' as the two prominent stars with their starpower, captivating personalities and impressive feud.
They fought back and forth in the late 1990s which garnered a lot of attention.
Moreover, there was even a time when The Final Boss tried to end Austin's life with one of the most dangerous stunts.
The Rock and
Steve Austin
had a remarkable rivalry in WWE history
Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock had been feuding in the late 1990s over the WWE championship. At the time, the company had introduced the Smoking Skull belt to resonate with Austin's onscreen Texas Rattlesnake. The Rock had possession of the title and once called out Austin on a bridge to fight.
The Great One continued to mock The Bionic Redneck throughout the night on Monday Night RAW.
Austin finally arrived at the scene in his Monster Truck and immediately began to brawl with his formidable rival. Initially, Austin had the upper hand, but The Rock hit him with a long pipe. He then threw Austin over the bridge. As the six-time WWE Champion hung for dear life, The Rock showed no mercy and punched him in the face, leading to Austin falling into the river.

Adding insult to injury, The Final Boss threw his Smoking Skull belt as well.
On the following edition of RAW, The Rock held a funeral for Steve Austin as a mockery and also revealed himself to be wearing the Smoking Skull belt. While the fans thought they saw the end of the Toughest SOB in WWE, it was not true. Austin drove his Monster Truck straight into the ringside and began to brawl with The Rock. He tossed The Great One into the grave that was present there and began to celebrate until Rock's cohort, Shane McMahon, hit him with a shovel to end the segment.
This was one of the most memorable segments in the feud between Steve Austin and The Rock. The duo met each other multiple times throughout their careers and are considered an important part of the success of professional wrestling.

'I'm gonna have an orgasm': Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron opens up about her sex life, one life stands, and relationship status

Charlize Theron has zero regrets about her most recent hookup , and she's letting the world know just how good it was. On the recent episode of the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, the 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress dropped a jaw-dropping revelation. 'I've probably had three one-night stands in my entire life. But I did just recently f*** a 26-year-old and it was really f***ing amazing. And I've never done that. I was like, 'Oh, this is great. OK.' Oscar-winning actress Theron, best known for her powerhouse performances in Monster, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Old Guard, got raw, real, and hilariously explicit about what dating (and sex) looks like in your late 40s. 'I'm having the kind of sex I never had in my 20s or in my 30s,' she admitted. 'We should be the ones that are like f*** you. I'm going to have an orgasm .' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 15 Most Beautiful Female Athletes in the World Click Here The actress didn't hold back when describing how her schedule as a single mom means even great sex is sometimes scheduled. 'This s***'s on a timer,' she joked. 'You got two hours. You better be done by the time I have to pick my kids up.' And as for finding love online? She's over the apps. Theron slammed dating platforms like Raya, calling them a 'f***ing clown show.' Live Events Her list of turn-offs is hilariously specific, including 'No Burning Man photos. No photos of you with other women. I don't care. I don't want to know that you have girlfriends. And I don't want you shooting a f***ing selfie in your closet of your hand in a jean pocket. It makes my vagina close. I just can't.' And don't even try claiming you're a CEO unless you actually are: 'Of what? Of some business you can't explain to me that none of my friends can understand? Like, no.' Despite the hookup headline, Theron made it clear she's not searching for a partner. 'I'm not missing a relationship,' she said. 'With women, it's always like something must be wrong with her. She can't keep a man. She must be a real b***h. What a c.' The star, mom to daughters Jackson and August, says the real love of her life is her freedom. 'I love that I don't have to run every f***ing thing by a guy!' And if you were wondering, no, her kids aren't impressed by her Oscar win. 'My children have zero respect for me,' she joked recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live . 'There's a f***ing Oscar right there. They are so not impressed."

Fashion vs Tradition: The history of Wimbledon's all-white controversies

Wimbledon 's all-white dress code, a symbol of its storied tradition, has long stirred controversy. Originally a preference in the 1870s to hide sweat - which was then seen as improper - the all-white attire became mandatory only in 1963. The shift came after Brazil's Maria Bueno wore a colorful outfit in 1962, prompting officials to formalize the rule from the next edition. As the only Grand Slam enforcing an all-white requirement, Wimbledon faces ongoing criticism for its strictness and outdated approach, even as it clings to its heritage. Roger Federer drew attention in 2013 for wearing white shoes with orange soles - quickly banned by officials. In 2014, Wimbledon tightened its rules further, mandating even visible undergarments be white. Venus Williams was asked to change a pink bra mid-match in 2017, and Nick Kyrgios flouted the code in 2022 with red Air Jordans. The change came in response to growing concerns from players about the discomfort of wearing white during their menstrual cycle. Yet enforcement remains strict - Ons Jabeur was sent back to the locker room in 2024 for wearing black during warm-up. For some, the dress code preserves Wimbledon's tradition; for others, it's an outdated restriction. The debate between fashion freedom and tradition rolls on.
