Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard visits Conor McGregor's pub in Dublin
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard posed for photos as he returned to Conor McGregor's pub in Dublin. The former England international was photographed with the restaurant's head chef, Ed Raethorne, as well as with a pint of McGregor's Forged Irish Stout. The UFC star himself shared the snaps of Gerrard saying 'Winners in the house!' and 'WINNER! @StevenGerrard" It is not the first time the ex-footballer has spent time in the Black Forge Inn as he visited the establishment on St Patrick's Day in 2023. Back then, Gerrard posed for photos with staff and pub-goers as he enjoyed the festivities. Gerrard himself has links to Dublin with his daughter Lilly-Ella in a long-term relationship with Dubliner Lee Byrne, who is the son of convicted Kinahan mobster Liam Byrne. Lee and the Gerrard family have no involvement in criminal activity. Liam was recently released from prison in the UK after serving a relatively short time behind bars for his role in sourcing firearms for brother-in-law and fellow mob boss Thomas 'Bomber' Kavanagh. He is lying low in the UK while being tagged by prison authorities - after being granted early release due to ongoing overcrowding concerns. Lee was recently seen partying with McGregor and Katie Price in Ibiza. A photo, posted on social media by McGregor, shows Lee with close pal and Byrne Organised Crime Group associate Nathan 'Biggie' Little posing next to the troubled UFC fighter. Renowned model Price is also seen in the snap, sitting on the lap of a beaming McGregor. Republic of Ireland and Eredivisie footballer Troy Parrot was also pictured.
