Two years after her Barbie movie took the box office and the Oscars by storm, Margot Robbie returns to the big screen in Sony's A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, that already has fans raving.
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer on Tuesday for the film, starring Robbie alongside Colin Farrell in a unique romantic fantasy.
Kogonada (After Yang) directs from a script by Seth Reiss (The Menu) that follows two strangers - Sarah (Robbie) and David (Farrell) on a bizarre journey through their own pasts.
They discover a strange door in the woods that is somehow a portal to their pasts, as they relive their core memories together, like David's unrequited love and Sarah's mother dying.
The film also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe, Billy Magnussen, Jodie Turner Smith and Michelle Mao, hitting theaters September 19.
Fans are already showering praise on the movie after the first footage was released, with some even calling it the 'movie of the year.'

The trailer begins with David and Sarah first meeting somewhere, seemingly on vacation, as they both confirm they're there alone.
David thinks that the most beautiful places make you feel the most alone, as Sarah retorts, 'Maybe it just depends on the person you're with.'
The computer in David's car asks him if he wants to go on a big bold beautiful journey, as it leads him back to Sarah, whose car has broken down.
They're directed into the woods, where they find a door that leads to David's high school when he was just 15, as he watches his younger self tell the girl he has a crush on that he loves her, but she doesn't love him back.
Sarah finds a door that leads to her dying mother as they both start to re-live aspects of their lives together.
The trailer ends with David stating, 'No matter who you are in your life, you just need someone to share it with.'

Heads of State review — stupendously idiotic but eminently watchable

Who knew that the annual summits of intergovernmental forums and transnational military alliances could be so exciting? And yet only months after the popcorn flick G20 gave us the gun-toting US president Viola Davis breaking bones in a ballgown during a Cape Town-set shoot-'em-up, we're now over in Trieste for a Nato summit that serves as a backdrop for an all-action buddy comedy. The twist here is that the two bickering protagonists are the UK and US heads of state — although the better title would have been The Special Relationship (taken, alas, by Peter Morgan's Blair-Bush film from 2010). Idris Elba plays British PM Sam Clarke, a cautious, rule-abiding politician who's suffering a conspicuous Starmer-like slump in the polls and finds himself 'increasingly embattled' in Westminster. John Cena, meanwhile, is President Will Derringer, a crass US populist and Clarke's ostensible nemesis. Derringer is a former Hollywood actor who speaks from the gut and is effectively clueless on global politics. If only there were some sort of violent yet localised crisis that would plunge both men into action and allow them to learn the value of oppositional character traits and the fundamental importance of the Nato alliance while also snapping necks, machinegunning faceless henchmen and leaping from exploding helicopters over downtown Warsaw. Step forward Paddy Considine and a strangulated accent as Russian arms dealer Viktor Gradov (he says 'Qui-yet yir math!!' for 'Shut your mouth'), a lethal psychopath nurturing a grudge against Nato who kicks off the nonstop narrative boom-bang-a-bang by blowing Air Force One out of the sky. • Read more film reviews, guides about what to watch and interviews It is stupendously idiotic yet eminently watchable. Elba is delightfully dyspeptic throughout and takes several potshots at the nonsense around him, noting wryly, 'I like actual cinema.' He shares credible romantic chemistry with Priyanka Chopra Jonas as an MI6 bruiser and former paramour called Noel Bisset — there was possibly a better movie in their story. The Russian film-maker Ilya Naishuller (Nobody) directs from a screenplay that's co-written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol) and pillories 'America First' politics while also hammering pro-Nato messaging. 'If Nato falls, there's no more backstop against despots and dictators,' one of Derringer's panic-stricken aides warns. Love Island fans reveal ‘clues' that ‘prove' one Islander is being protected by producers from being dumped

LOVE Island fans claim they've spotted 'clues' that 'prove' producers are trying to keep a villa beauty on the show. Last night, original villa girl Alima and new bombshell Ryan were dumped f rom the show, prompting some to claim it's the latest twist designed to save Toni. 3 3 Though there's no evidence of any producer meddling, one armchair sleuth took to Reddit last night to share their theory with other viewers. They outlined five points which they felt backed up their viewpoint. The first of which focused on Harrison's arrival and his opening dates with Malisha and Toni. Footballer Harrison is based in Miami, while Toni works in Vegas, and the viewer felt the US link gave her an unfair advantage when she was ultimately picked to partner him. Next, they highlighted Harrison and Toni being sent on the only date of the series so far before a public vote, claiming it was a method of boosting interest in them. Thirdly, they pointed out a change to the dumping process after the public voted for their least favourite Islanders. They wrote: "We know Love Island loves making the islanders decide the bottom 3 and if they did Toni would likely have been dumped, instead they go by straight votes and Megan is dumped despite having a strong connection in there." The fan alluded to more 'meddling' in their fourth point, claiming that by choosing Ben to go first in Sunday's recoupling it prevented Harrison from picking Helena and leaving Toni single and at risk. Finally, they flagged last night's dumping and the fact Islanders weren't given the chance to stand up for the remaining singletons, which would likely have seen Ben couple with Alima, potentially leading to a reshuffle that would've put Toni at risk. Last night's scenes played out with newbies Ryan and Billykiss being told to stand in front of their co-stars The boys were told to stand up if they'd like to recouple with Billykiss. Conor stood up and said their date went really well and he'd be doing himself a disservice to not explore their connection. Alima, left uncoupled, then took Billykiss's place at the front. The girls then had to stand up if they'd like to recouple with new bombshell Ryan, but none did so. Due to them both being single, Alima and Ryan were eliminated. Other fans bought into the theory. One said: "honestly i can't argue with this even though i like toni." Another wrote: "I wholeheartedly agree. I am sure Toni is a nice girl, but it's becoming very exhausting." The Sun has contacted Love Island for comment.

The two legal masterstrokes pulled by Diddy's defense team...and the prosecutors' fatal mistake

Sean ' Diddy ' Combs' star defense team saved him from life in prison by keeping him from the stand and presenting a simple case to the jury - while prosecutors failed by focusing too much on the sleazy details, according to legal experts. The music mogul, 55, was acquitted Wednesday of sex trafficking and racketeering charges and only convicted of lesser prostitution-related offenses. Alan Dershowitz, who was part of OJ Simpson 's 'dream team' of lawyers in the infamous murder trial, told Fox News Digital that Diddy's attorneys made the right move by not having the mogul take the stand. 'Ultimately, the smart decision was not putting OJ on the witness stand,' he said of the team of lawyers led by Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos. 'The smart decision here was not putting Combs on the witness stand. The difference is we want a complete victory. They got a partial victory, but an almost complete victory, so I commend them for excellent work.' The defense has also been praised for presenting a simple case to the jury from the beginning, arguing that Diddy, as was shown in various evidence, is a domestic abuser and drug user, but not a sex-trafficker or the head of a criminal organization. 'Trials always come down to a battle of storytelling,' former federal prosecutor Moira Penza told the Wall Street Journal. 'I think we saw the defense had a clear narrative that was simple to understand.' Geragos, the daughter of prominent lawyer Mark Geragos, repeatedly reminded the jury that Diddy was 'not charged with being a jerk. He's charged with running a racketeering enterprise.' During closing arguments, Agnifilo told the court: 'We own the domestic violence... We own it.' Meanwhile experts say prosecutors relied too heavily on the lurid details of Diddy's sex life and the now-infamous 'freak offs' in an apparent bid to turn jurors against the star. The state focused on the huge amount of baby oil and lubricant that Diddy kept in his homes for the sex marathons. They also showed the jury video of Diddy's alleged victims having sex with male escorts. While shocking, the evidence itself was not criminal in nature without the coercion aspect of the allegations. Defense lawyers were able to credibly insist the freak-offs were consensual thanks to texts sent by alleged 'victims' displaying enthusiasm for the sex events. 'I think there is a belief that you can make the defendant so distasteful that it's going to lead a jury to convict on something other than the facts and evidence,' former federal prosecutor Artie McConnell told the WSJ. 'In my experience that rarely happens.' Diddy dropped to his knees and prayed in the courtroom after he was acquitted Wednesday of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have put one of hip-hop's celebrated figures behind bars for life. Agnifilo called the verdict a 'great victory' and said the jury 'got the situation right — or certainly right enough' as he stood outside Manhattan federal court at a stand of microphones. 'Today is a victory of all victories.' The mixed verdict capped a sordid legal odyssey that shattered Diddy's affable 'Puff Daddy' image and derailed his career as a Grammy-winning artist and music executive, fashion entrepreneur, brand ambassador and reality TV star. 'I'll see you when I get out,' Combs told family members including his mother and children just before leaving the courtroom to return to jail. 'We're going to get through this.' Diddy stands convicted of two counts of a crime — transportation to engage in prostitution — that carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. But jurors cleared him of three charges, two of which carried a mandatory 15 years and a maximum of life. He was convicted of flying people around the country, including his girlfriends and male sex workers, to engage in sexual encounters, a felony violation of the federal Mann Act. Janice Combs, mother of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, and other family members depart federal court after verdicts were announced during Sean Combs' sex trafficking and racketeering trial at Manhattan Federal Court His defense lawyers said that under federal sentencing guidelines, he would likely face about two years in prison. Prosecutors, citing Diddy's violence and other factors, said the guidelines would call for at least four to five years. Locked up since his September arrest, Diddy has already served nine months. 'We fight on and we're going to win,' Agnifilo said. 'And we're not going to stop until he walks out of prison a free man to his family.'
