Reasons to Be Bullish on NVIDIA Stock
The surge in demand for NVIDIA's state-of-the-art new-generation Blackwell chips helped the company's sales grow 69% year over year to $44.1 billion in the fiscal first quarter, which ended on April 27. NVIDIA overcame supply-chain bottlenecks and delivered Blackwell AI servers to customers such as Microsoft Corporation MSFT.
Strong demand for AI chips will boost NVIDIA's sales, supported by increased developer adoption of the CUDA platform. The AI revolution in self-driving cars and autonomous robots also benefits NVIDIA. As major cloud computing companies like Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN and Alphabet Inc. GOOGL purchase NVIDIA's graphics processing units (GPUs), in which the company holds a large share, the company is likely to see further growth.
President Trump's tariffs and export restrictions on AI chips to China may impact NVIDIA's sales, but the company is adjusting its hardware specifications to resume sales there. Even without China, NVIDIA is positioned to benefit from the worldwide demand for AI capabilities.
Reasons to Be Bullish on Palantir Stock
A rise in both commercial and government contracts helped Palantir increase its revenues in the first quarter. Commercial revenues increased 71% year over year (YoY) to $255 million, while government revenues rose 45% YoY to $373 million.
Palantir's sales growth has contributed to strong financial results, with net income reaching $217.7 million in the first quarter, more than doubling last year's $106.1 million. Palantir's adjusted free cash flow for the quarter was $370 million, up 42% YoY. Additionally, the remaining performance obligations of $1.9 billion and an estimated total addressable market of over $1 trillion in the next decade indicate Palantir's continued strength.
Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), capable of automating tasks beyond human reach, drove its revenue growth. The company's new AI products, like Warp Speed, which uses AI to improve U.S. manufacturing efficiency, are also expected to boost revenues.
Meanwhile, Palantir shareholders are excited about President Trump's 'Big, Beautiful Bill'. This is because Palantir is a key player in developing the Golden Dome missile defense system, included in the bill. Moreover, the ongoing geopolitical tensions and the AI arms race could further benefit Palantir.
Which Is the Better AI Stock for 2H25: NVIDIA or Palantir?
Palantir's AIP and other AI products are expected to see heightened commercial success in the near term, while strong demand for new Blackwell GPUs will boost NVIDIA's profit margins. However, the only issue with investing in Palantir is its lofty valuations.
Per the price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio, Palantir trades at 226.62 times forward earnings, while NVIDIA's forward earnings multiple is 37.07. So, an economic downturn may quickly lower Palantir's share price, unlike NVIDIA's.
Therefore, it's safe to conclude that NVIDIA is a better stock than Palantir in the second half. Palantir stock only suits aggressive investors. Where Will XRP (Ripple) Be in 5 Years?
Key Points Ripple and the SEC have agreed to settle, ending years of legal uncertainty for XRP and its investors. XRP's market cap is now rivaling top credit services stocks, but its payment volume still lags far behind. The cryptocurrency could earn its massive market value over time, but it looks overpriced right now. Cryptocurrencies are often unpredictable. XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) is a prime example of this quality. An ominous lawsuit started weighing on the cryptocurrency in December 2020. The suit started to wind down in the first half of 2024, and the Ripple Labs organization launched an XRP-based stablecoin. You'd think the cryptocurrency would soar on the news, but it took a steep dive instead. Then the 2024 elections came along. A more crypto-friendly White House signaled the end of XRP's legal issues, and the cryptocurrency suddenly made up for lost time. You always have to look forward in the fast-moving cryptocurrency market. Where will XRP go in the next five years -- and is it a good buy right now? Let's have a look. Ripple and SEC are settling their differences The big catalyst every XRP owner was waiting for? Well, that one is playing out right now. Ripple Labs and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have agreed to a settlement and withdrawn their appeals, effectively ending the four-year courtroom drama. There are a few more Ts to cross and Is to dot, as Judge Analisa Torres rejected the first settlement draft. The filing, which would end the case and impose a $50 million fine on Ripple Labs, was "procedurally improper." So the lawyers are going back to the drawing board to hammer out a technically complete filing. But it seems like a foregone conclusion that the lawsuit is ending with much lower monetary damages and fewer operating restrictions than the SEC had requested earlier. And this outcome appears to be priced into XRP's chart, with the big jump falling shortly after November's election process. If XRP were a stock... XRP is one of the largest cryptocurrencies at this point, sporting a total market value of $133 billion on July 2. If XRP were a stock, representing the value of the related RippleNet international payments platform, it would be one of the 5 most valuable credit services on Wall Street. The hypothetical XRP market cap would still be far behind sector leaders Visa (NYSE: V) and Mastercard (NYSE: MA), whose market caps stand at $685 billion and $509 billion, respectively. But XRP would be a significant force in the credit services industry -- and I don't think that's entirely fair in 2025. Ripple vs. Visa: Spoiler, it's not a fair fight (yet) There are fewer than 23,000 active accounts in the RippleNet transaction ledger. The platform processes about one million payments per day. The Ripple systems have moved "over $1 trillion" between different counterparties, but that's not on a daily or even annual basis. That's the total value processed since the first Ripple transaction was made in 2012. By contrast, Visa's total payment volume was $3.9 trillion in the most recently reported quarter. Visa's transaction volume was 818 million payments per day. Mastercard's business metrics are about half of Visa's, but still many times richer than Ripple's relatively tiny operations. I'm holding, not hoarding, my XRP coins in 2025 Yes, I believe that RippleNet and XRP will earn their stripes over time. However, the cryptocurrency shouldn't be worth about a quarter of Mastercard's market cap, based on vanishingly small transaction volumes and revenue streams. This bullish drama could very well play out over the next five years, finally making a serious Visa rival out of XRP. It's just too early to give XRP that big of a market cap. I'm happy to hold my own XRP coins for the long haul, but this isn't the best time to back up the digital truck and load up on this cryptocurrency. The SEC lawsuit's closure has already been priced into XRP, and I think the big November jump was an overreaction. You might still want to pick up a couple of XRP coins just to get exposure to this cryptocurrency with real-world business prospects. Just keep those purchases slow and small these days. I Tried This At-Home Laser Hair Removal Device, And Here Are My Thoughts
It definitely has its perks, and the price is a major one. Everybody has their own journey with body hair and removal. I'm personally a long-time waxer, plucker, and shaver. I've been using it for the past month and a half, and it has definitely surprised me with how easy it is to use and how quickly I saw results. Buy on Amazon (This link opens in a new tab) My First Impression of The Ulike Laser Hair Removal Device When I first unboxed the device, I immediately noticed how luxurious it felt. It was easy to figure out how all the pieces plugged into each other, and it is comfortable to hold. It also came with a mini razor to shave the area you want to treat before using the laser, a pair of foldable sunglasses to wear during the treatment, as well as a cloth bag to keep everything in between uses. I knew that the Ulike Air 3 IPL Hair Removal Device wasn't going to be as strong of a zap as the lasers you would be treated with in a spa, but I still wanted to be very safe while using it to avoid any burns, rashes, or irritation. I read all of the instructions and learned that I would need to gradually work my way up the three zap levels. I was also advised not to expose the skin I was treating to the sun during treatment, or use the laser over moles, or tattoos (both of which I have plenty of on my arms and legs). With this new knowledge, I knew I couldn't treat my legs, arms, or armpits after summer days by the pool, so for the sake of this experiment, I decided to treat my facial hair. I felt comfortable trying this area as I wear SPF daily, and take extra precautions if I'm in direct sun wearing a hat or sitting, so I knew I would be able to keep that area safe while I was still actively treating it. My First Few Sessions Bianca Guzzo As per the instruction manual, I was to do three to four treatments per week for the first three weeks of using the laser, adding a single treatment a week after that for the next month or so. I used the included razor to shave the areas I wanted to treat, plugged the machine in, popped the sunglasses on, and got to zapping. As I said, I was playing it safe, so I started with the lowest setting. As soon as you're holding the laser flush to your skin, and indicator light goes off, signalling that it's safe to use. With a few zaps, my first session was over with no pain at all, which did confuse me a little, but I definitely felt the cooling effect. After about a week of using it on the lowest setting and not seeing any results, I turned it up to the middle setting and still didn't feel much. Eventually, I made it to the strongest setting, which felt like a very light shock and only lasted a fraction of a second. Doing the treatment wasn't uncomfortable at all, and I loved that I didn't have to make any expensive appointments. After I had worked my way up to this strongest setting, I continued to use it for every single treatment. Where We Are Five Weeks In I've stuck to the schedule, except for missing a single treatment during a weekend away, and I can definitely see the results. Point blank, it's not as strong as a hair removal laser in a spa, so the results won't be as noticeable or fast. However, I did see the hair in areas, like my upper lip, visibly decrease within weeks, and hasn't really grown back aside from a couple of strands I've been able to pluck on the fly. Bianca Guzzo In areas where my hair is a little coarser and thicker, like my sideburns and chin, the hair growth has slowed down but still grows back—albeit a little thinner—so I think these areas will need a bit more time to give me the desired results. Bianca Guzzo All in all, I think it's a great alternative to going to a spa for a similar service, since the one-time cost of the machine is far less than I'd pay in total for all the sessions I'd need. Plus, I can use it anywhere on my body, excluding private areas and around my eyes, so if you're planning on treating most of your body like me, it's well worth its price.
