Aussie comedian Dave Hughes says he nearly came to blows at Wimbledon after confronting a disruptive spectator during Jordan Thompson's tense five-set win on Court 15.
Hughes recounted the moment he confronted an English man who wouldn't stop loudly chatting during the final set.
'Three rows of seating on court 15, within metres of the players, tense fifth set, and this English bloke would not stop loudly talking to his friend as if he was down at his local boozer,' Hughes said.

When he eventually asked the man to quiet down, the situation apparently escalated.
'He was livid, real 'how dare you tell me what to do you Aussie scum' vibe. He called me 'Little Hitler!'' Hughes said.
Hughes said his son Raff, who was with him at the time, had described it as 'a bit of an over-reaction'.
'Everyone around us was happy that I did it,' Hughes said.
'What is it with entitled English w*nkers?' he added.

Hughes recently returned to The Project for its farewell show before departing, and last week delivered a viral rant on social media about his lifelong obsession with the Carlton Football Club.

Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman movie reunion will ‘of course' happen, James Gunn says

James Gunn has said that Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman will 'of course' meet in the DC Universe (DCU). The 58-year-old director is set to kick off the DCU on the big screen with the upcoming blockbuster Superman, and while Gunn insisted the superhero will not cross over with Batman and Wonder Woman in the next film, the moviemaker stressed the iconic trio will eventually team up in a future project in the franchise. When Deadline asked the DC head if there was a chance Superman could cross paths with Batman and Wonder Woman in the future, he said: 'Of course, yeah! But not in the next movie.' After the outlet quizzed the Guardians of the Galaxy director on whether the team-up could happen in the next few years, he said: 'You have to remember all this stuff is talks inside my head. 'So there's a lot of chatter in my head that does a lot of things! But the DCU is chatter in my head, not talks!' This comes after Gunn said he thought Adria Arjona would be a 'great' Wonder Woman, He told Extra: 'I follow Adria on Instagram but everybody came out [and said], 'He just followed her, that means she's Wonder Woman.' She'd be a great Wonder Woman, by the way. 'She was in a movie that I made seven years ago. We've been friends and have known each other since that time. I followed her then, I didn't just follow her.' Gunn also teased Superman may have already crossed paths with Batman in the DCU. Speaking about how the Man of Steel would react to meeting the Dark Knight in the DCU, The Suicide Squad filmmaker said: 'Well, first of all, we don't know if he's already seen a man dressed up as a bat. 'But I think that he'd probably see a kindred spirit in that [here's] another crazy person wearing a crazy costume [albeit] with a very different intent.' DC already has an on-screen Caped Crusader with Robert Pattinson's The Batman, though the movie and its 2027 sequel The Batman: Part II are Elseworlds projects and do not take place in the main DCU timeline. The idea of bringing Pattinson's Dark Knight into the DCU and portraying the character in the upcoming Batman movie The Brave and the Bold had been theorised, but Gunn has since rejected it. During an interview with Variety, he said: 'I wouldn't rule anything out. He could show up in something else. But the actor doesn't exist [for Batman in the DCU yet].' Gunn's Superman - which lands in cinemas on 11 July - follows the titular hero (David Corenswet) as he tries to balance his human and Kryptonian lives, all while Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) does everything in his power to bring about his downfall. The film will also introduce a range of other beloved DC heroes, such as Guy Gardner's Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion), Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced) and Mister Terrific (Edi Gathegi). Despite his new position as the DCU lead, Corenswet previously insisted he doesn't know what Superman's future will be in the franchise after the film. When Esquire Espana asked the 31-year-old actor what he would be doing in the DCU post-Superman, he said: 'I don't think it's up to me to answer that. It's up to James Gunn, who has a terrific imagination, and he is just there where they need [him] to be to say what was written, although that doesn't always happen.'

Caitlyn Jenner's manager and close pal dies in horror ATV accident near star's home

Don't miss out on the headlines from Entertainment. Followed categories will be added to My News. Caitlyn Jenner's manager and close friend has died in a horror accident while close to the star's sprawling property. Sophia Hutchins, 29, was killed in a tragic motor vehicle accident near Jenner's Malibu residence. Ambulances were called to the scene on Wednesday morning (local time) after Hutchins reportedly collided with a moving car while riding an all-terrain vehicle or ATV, similar to a quad bike. According to TMZ, the impact caused the ATV to fly off the road, sending both the vehicle and Hutchins more than 100 metres off a cliff. Caitlyn Jenner's manager and close friend has tragically died. Picture: Getty. Ambulances arrived quickly but tragically pronounced Hutchins dead at the scene. The people inside the car that was struck by the ATV were unharmed, officials confirmed. It remains unclear whether Jenner, 75, was home at the time or witnessed the incident. Hutchins, who was also a transgender woman, first met the Olympic champion after she publicly came out in 2015. In 2017, Hutchins moved into Jenner's Malibu home and later would go on to take over over managing Jenner's career from her ex, Kris Jenner. Hutchins regularly appeared on Jenner's E! docuseries I Am Cait, a spin-off of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that chronicled Jenner's gender transition. Meanwhile, in 2023, Jenner admitted during an interview that she and Kris 'really never talk' anymore, adding, 'It's sad.' Jenner grew close to her late manager following her split from her ex-wife, Kris Jenner. Picture: Getty 'If there's any communication, my manager kind of talks to her and when you have as many kids as I have, you're closer to some than you are to others … I certainly see them and we do this and that,' she continued. 'I'm much closer to the Jenner side, but Kris, I don't really have any more contact with her. It's kind of sad because we went through a lot.' Caitlyn was married to Kris, 67, for 22 years before they divorced in 2015 — the same year the former decathlete came out as transgender. They share two children together — Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner — and Caitlyn was also stepfather to Kris' kids from her previous marriage to Robert Kardashian: Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian. In her book, Caitlyn said Kris claimed she was 'surprised' by her choice to transition. However, the former motivational speaker disputed, 'I told her I dressed as a woman, and she knew I did, because I did it several times in front of her after we were married'. Country music legend Tim McGraw sparks fears over unrecognisable new look

Don't miss out on the headlines from Music. Followed categories will be added to My News. Country music legend Tim McGraw looked unrecognisable as he clutched a cane in his latest photo shared on Instagram. Fans had some concerns following a social media post showing the singer, 58 and his wife, fellow country music legend Faith Hill, 57, in Denmark. The pair were pictured sitting at an outdoor cafe in Copenhagen, which is where they are staying as they support their daughter Audrey, 23, on tour. The couple looked loved-up as they smiled for the camera, with smitten Tim writing next to the sweet snap: 'Hangin' with my baby in Copenhagen to see @audreymcgraw on tour with the fabulous @brandicarlile.' The picture sparked fears for some fans. Picture: Instagram. But despite the sweet photo, fans were left concerned for Tim as he was pictured with a cane. Taking to the comments, one fan wrote: 'Beautiful photo. Why do you have a cane? Are you OK?' one fan asked. Another follow said: '@thetimmcgraw praying for your recovery.' Someone else wrote: 'Need the full story on the cane, my man.' While another added: 'One thing for sure … doesn't look like you.' Tim is yet to reveal why he is having to use a cane, but he did previously open up about having ongoing back and knee issues. Country music legend Tim McGraw is married to Faith Hill. Speaking on the Bobby Bones podcast in May, he revealed: 'I had had a back surgery before tour last year, and that sort of went south on me at the beginning of the tour, and sort of compensating for that my knees went out like three weeks into the tour.' Back in 2018, Tim shocked concertgoers after he collapsed on stage during a gig in Ireland. The country music star fell to his knees during a performance of his song Humble And Kind at Dublin's Country2Country festival. After he collapsed Tim's wife Faith came out to address the crowd, and revealed that her husband was 'super dehydrated from travelling so much'. She then revealed that she 'had taken the decision to have him not come back out on stage'. Tim's spokesman said at the time: 'Tim McGraw was suffering from Dublin this evening at the C2C show. 'He was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine. 'He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon.' Tim has previously revealed that music is his 'saviour.' He said: 'Anything that's ever happened good in my life has come from music. 'So it's a treasure to me. Whether I want to do it continually, whether I want to stop doing it, any of those things, it's my saviour in a lot of ways.' Away from the country music scene, Tim teamed up with rapper Nelly for the 2004 hit Over and Over, which reached number one in the UK. He also starred alongside Sandra Bullock in the 2009 film The Blind Side. Last year, Tim won high praise when he collaborated with Post Malone on the hit song, Wrong Ones.
