Forces kill 7 terrorists in Kachhi, Kalat IBOs

Security forces on Tuesday killed seven alleged terrorists during two separate operations in Kalat and Kachhi district of restive Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, security forces carried out an intelligence based operation (IBO) in the Mach general area of district Kachhi on reported presence of "Fitna-al Hindustan" terrorists.
"During the operation, our troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location, and after an intense exchange of fire, sent five Indian sponsored terrorists to hell," it said.
In another IBO conducted in the Margand general area of Kalat district, security forces raided a hideout and neutralized two terrorists. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who, according to the ISPR, were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.
The military's media wing stated that the security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country. They also reaffirmed the nation's unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators of Indian sponsored terrorism and their facilitators to justice.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces on the successful operations. In their separate statements, they lauded the professional capabilities of the forces.
"India, through its proxies, is spreading terrorism in Pakistan," the president said. He resolved to continue actions against terrorists till their complete elimination.
PM Shehbaz said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces to foil the nefarious designs of Fitna-al Hindustan, which, he said, is involved in spreading terrorism in Balochistan under the patronage of India.

Philippines, India hold first joint sail in South China Sea
MANILA: The Philippine and Indian navies have sailed together for the first time in the South China Sea, officials said on Monday, as President Ferdinand Marcos left Manila for New Delhi for a state visit. He was received by Governor Syed Mehdi Shah, who briefed him on the scale of destruction caused by persistent rainfall, including landslides and flooding. Expressing sorrow over the losses, the prime minister said Gilgit-Baltistan had suffered significant damage due to extreme weather events. He reiterated that Pakistan is among the countries most severely affected by climate change, despite contributing minimally to global carbon emissions. Shehbaz stressed that the impacts of climate change are intensifying each year and called for urgent, effective measures to combat them. He said the Ministry of Climate Change has been directed to take immediate action. Declaring the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) a key national institution, he noted that federal agencies are working closely with the Gilgit-Baltistan government to accelerate relief and rescue operations. The prime minister also received a ground-level briefing on the situation and was informed of the status of ongoing development projects in the region, as well as efforts by the local administration to manage the crisis. He said Israel's expansionist attempts are a deliberate effort to destabilize the region and sabotage any meaningful path to peace. The spokesperson emphasized that the world must not remain silent in the face of such systemic, illegal, inhumane, and unlawful aggression. Such actions constitute a blatant violation of international human rights and humanitarian laws, the UN Charter, as well as various UN and OIC resolutions. Ben-Gvir was among approximately 1,250 individuals who prayed at the site under Israeli military protection. The compound, known to Jews as the Temple Mount, holds deep religious significance—being the holiest site in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam. It remains under Jordanian custodianship, and a longstanding agreement permits Jewish visits but prohibits prayer.
