Samsung is not selling The Frame Pro for cheap
The major upgrade The Frame Pro offers over the original The Frame is a 4K Neo QLED display and the Wireless One Connect Box. Samsung's Neo QLED displays use MiniLEDs to offer improved brightness and local dimming. To better sell the illusion that The Frame Pro is a picture frame, the Wireless One Connect Box lets you hide the cables you'd normally plug into your TV in a cabinet, and wirelessly transmit their inputs directly to your display. For those upgrades, plus the included NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, The Frame Pro is $2,199 for a 65-inch model, $3,199 for a 75-inch model and $4,299 for the 85-inch model. Samsung says an 83-inch model will be available at a later date.
The changes to The Frame are more modest. The TV now sports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and also comes with the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor. The chip powers video upscaling on top of AI-powered features like "Click to Search," the ability to look up an actor's bio while watching something, and "Live Translate," the ability to generate real-time captions of whatever you're watching in another language. If you want The Frame, you'll pay $899 for the 43-inch model, $1,099 for the 50-inch model, $1,299 for the 55-inch model and $1,799 for the 65-inch model.
The updates to Samsung's more traditional OLED TVs vary depending on the series and size you purchase, but all of the new TVs support Samsung's AI-powered features. The S95F comes with the NQ4 AI Gen3, a new glare-free display, Samsung's "brightest-ever OLED screen" and the Motion Xcelerator 165Hz feature for smooth gameplay during demanding video games. The S90F gets the same chip and Motion Xcelerator 144Hz (for a slightly lower refresh rate) and the S85F uses the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and Motion Xcelerator 120Hz. The S95F starts at $2,299, with sizes that range from 55 inches to 75 inches. The S90F starts at $1,299 for the 42-inch model and can go up to 83 inches. The S85F, meanwhile, starts at $1,499 for the 55-inch model and also goes up to 83 inches.
All of Samsung's new TVs are available to order today, and the company is guaranteeing seven years of software updates to the TVs' One UI Tizen operating system when you purchase.

The upcoming 'Made By Google' event on Aug. 20 will see the launch of the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro families. Recent leaks point to an aggressive pricing strategy that consumers will welcome. Yet Google can extract more value out of the Pixel 10 family than the sticker price. The user experience of the Pixel 10 is set to be enhanced with the addition of a third lens in the main camera. Google has been leaning heavily into its AI-powered assistant, Gemini, while it continues to add more AI-based features into its own software stack and Android. Again, this adoption pushes the market towards Google's vision of artificial intelligence on a mobile device. By having a first-mover advantage and establishing this as the way forward, it makes it harder for other platforms and manufacturers, such as Apple's Intelligence on the iPhone. As for the tangible, to make the best use of Gemini and Google's AI suite involves a subscription to Google AI Pro or Google AI Ultra. Trial memberships to these services are available with the purchase of a Pixel device, creating an easy on-ramp to an ongoing subscription, which in turn pulls the consumer even closer into Google's cloud system while pushing back others. Samsung's Galaxy Watch 8 just came out and you can already save $50
If you're looking to upgrade an older Android smartwatch, or want to give wearables a try for the first time, Samsung's Galaxy Watch 8 is a compelling choice. It has a new design, lets you access Google's Gemini AI from your wrist, and has a handful of new health and wellness features. It launched on July 25th, but you can already get the 40mm model on sale for $299.99 ($50 off) from Samsung. Amazon has the watch for full price, but is offering a $50 promotional credit toward a future purchase if you use the code APSUE5MBXB6Y at checkout. Samsung's latest smartwatch features a new squircle design, Gemini, and some new health features like an Antioxidant Index and Running Coach. The Galaxy Watch 8 is squircle shaped, which may be divisive, but allows it to lay flatter and Verge reporter Victoria Song found it fit more more comfortably on her wrist in her review. The change also let Samsung make the watch thinner than the Galaxy Watch 7, and yet we still found it can still last more than a day on a charge. While it's not a huge departure from its predecessor, it could be a good upgrade for anyone with a Galaxy Watch 5 or below, and Samsung's new discount counteracts the $50 price increase means you're not paying any more than the Galaxy Watch 7 cost at launch. If you've gotten used to Google Gemini on your smartphone or computer, the Galaxy Watch 8 will let you access it from your wrist – we created playlists, checked the weather, and have previously asked Gemini whether it's necessary to scrub a sweet potato before peeling it. On the health and wellness side, the Galaxy Watch 8 can track steps, your heart rate, blood oxygen level, steps, and activity. If you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, you use the smartwatch to take an EKG or detect sleep apnea. A new feature called Running Coach will put you through a 12-minute run test, give you a grade from one through 10, and create a workout program based on your performance. It also includes sensors designed to detect whether you're eating enough fruits and vegetables, but we found it can be fooled by colorful objects, including a Cheeze-It. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Price Now Slashed By $500 In New Sale
In 2024, Samsung launched its first phone with AI features. The Galaxy S24 Ultra with Galaxy AI went on sale at the beginning of the year for $1,299.99 for the model with 256GB storage. Right now, it's a lot cheaper. The latest price on Amazon reduces the cost of the phone to $799.99, a 38% cut compared to the original price sticker: a full $500 off. To be clear, this is not a refurbished model, but a brand-new handset, found at this price in the titanium gray finish. If you prefer titanium black (popular but, if I may, less eye-catching), that's also available for the identical price. More adventurous types might prefer the titanium yellow finish, and I couldn't blame you. That's $50 more, at $849.99. Still a big discount on the original sales price at $450 or 35% off. Then there's titanium violet, a purple color of the sort that persists on your retina after you close your eyes. It's more expensive, $1,072.91, which is still around $227 off the original sticker price but not the value found on the other colors. For reference, Samsung also sells the Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB model, but it's a refurbished model, which Samsung calls 'Certified Re-Newed' and it costs $1,019 in titanium black only. The newest Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with 256GB storage routinely sells for $1,299, but it currently is on sale from Samsung for $999.99 with Samsung Instant Savings, a $300 price cut. If you're considering the purple S24 Ultra from Amazon, the S25 Ultra is a better price for a newer phone. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is also available in a 512GB storage model. Originally, this cost $1,419.99 and Amazon's best prices are for the titanium gray and titanium yellow options, both of which are 23% off, that's $320.99 off, at $1,099. In this storage level you'll pay around $50 more, $1,149.95, if you want the titanium black finish, and the titanium violet is again the most expensive at $1,175.21. Again, Samsung has $300 off the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with 512GB storage, dropping the price from $1,419.99 to $1,199.99, so not much more than these S24 Ultra prices right now.
