Cheesy, melty and utterly irresistible.
That's how Carl's Jr. describes its latest offering, the Queso Crunch Burger. It's an all-beef, charbroiled patty smothered in queso (Mexican-style cheese dip), and topped with pepper jack, pico de gallo and tortilla strips.
Also what the Tennessee based company is hoping consumers will find irresistible? Their new ad featuring TikTok star Alix Earle.
The Miami influencer – who lured revelers in a spot for Carl's Hangover Burger during Super Bowl breaks in February – is front and center again.
This go-around, though, Earle has some company. The fast food chain brought back Paris Hilton for an assist.
WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS SEXUAL CONTENT
The reunion comes nearly 20 years after Hilton did her almost too sexy for TV commercial. Back in her day, the hotel heiress was seen in a bathing suit and high heels slathering up a Bentley while basically making out with her lunch. Let's just say it wasn't a sight you'd see at El Car Wash.
Hilton (just her head and shoulders) appears briefly at the end of Earle's commercial, pulling up to the drive-through where Earle is trying to order from a googly-eyed server.
'K, so that's hot,' the 44-year-old mom of two says, reiterating the ad's play on words with 'queso.'
'Our guests seek out indulgent menu items and Carl's Jr. is known for our creative burgers and innovative flavors,' said Paz Romero, vice president of brand marketing at Carl's Jr. 'We're thrilled to once again partner with Alix Earle – who fans and followers know loves an indulgent treat. Her craving for burgers AND queso comes to life in this exciting culinary collab.'
When Earle, 24, posted the collab on her Instagram, the majority of her legions of followers heartily approved:
'Carl's Jr marketing team on POINT.'
'Epic!'
'I'm obsessed w this partnership …whoever is behind the creative…BRAVO.'
The burger is available through Sept. 2, at Carls Jr., located in Doral.

Rosie O'Donnell says she ‘expected' Trump to threaten her citizenship after ‘20 years of abuse'

Rosie O'Donnell said she wasn't surprised that President Trump threatened to revoke her US citizenship, claiming that she's endured '20 years of abuse' from her longtime foe. The former talk show host took to social media Tuesday to slam the 'absurd' attack after the president triggered a social media brawl with O'Donnell when he branded her a 'threat to humanity' in a fiery post on his platform. 'I'm safe here in Ireland. I'm out of the reach of the tangerine Mussolini,' the former talk show host said in a nearly 10-minute TikTok video addressing her longstanding feud with Trump. TikTok/Rosie O'Donnell 'I have to say that I was expecting him to do something as absurd as he did for a few reasons. Number one, I read Project 2025. Number two, I've had 20 years of abuse from him so I knew it wasn't going to stop, and number three, I know myself well enough to know that I wasn't going to shut up.' O'Donnell, 63, moved overseas to the Dublin suburb of Howth with her 12-year-old non-binary child in January in response to Trump's victory against Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. Advertisement She called the move a 'necessity' to protect her family, saying her 'heart couldn't take the pain' of what Trump was planning – or what he has already done. But the actress, who was born on Long Island, remains unfazed by the president's warning shot. 'Can't take away someone's citizenship, they have to renounce it themselves in the constitution, so, you know, I'm not that worried,' the 'A League of Their Own' star remarked. That's why we started America, not wanting to have kings, no monarchy. Liberty and justice for all, for all people in the United States.' Under current law, Americans cannot lose their US citizenship status even if they obtain citizenship elsewhere. On Saturday, the commander in chief raged on Truth Social that he's giving 'serious consideration' to taking away the former TV personality's citizenship. REUTERS 'Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great County, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,' Trump wrote. 'She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!' The actress quickly fired back with a flurry of Instagram posts ripping Trump as 'dangerous old soulless man' who craves 'loyalty' and picturing him with notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. 4 O'Donnell said she will never renounce her citizenship — regardless of what Trump says. AP While it remains unclear what legal grounds Trump could invoke to strip O'Donnell of her citizenship, she claimed the prez was clearly 'rattled,' as she was still living 'rent free' in his 'collapsing brain' nearly two decades after their infamous feud erupted in 2006. In her latest post, the activist made it clear she has no intention of ever renouncing her citizenship. Advertisement 'I will never renounce my American citizenship,' she said. 'I am waiting happily for my Irish citizenship so that I can be a dual citizen, but I will never renounce my American citizenship, ever.'

LG StanbyME review: This portable TV on wheels is the smartest and most attractive small space solution I've found

Like all great things in the modern era, I first saw LG's portable StanbyME TV on TikTok. As a New York City apartment dweller, I'm always looking for space-saving options. And though I've never liked the idea of a TV in the bedroom, there are evenings when all I want to do is crawl into bed and watch reality TV. But I do way more than just watch TV in bed with my LG StanbyME. I bring it into the bathroom to watch movies while I take a bath. I play recipe videos on it while I cook. I even take it on the balcony so I can watch TV while getting sun. This unique 27-inch display is completely portable, with a built-in battery and a rollable stand with five wheels. While its 1080p picture quality doesn't come close to matching the best TVs (and it's costly for a 27-inch screen), I think it fills a niche need for a portable TV almost perfectly — here's why. Why I love the LG StanbyME It moves up and down and can be adjusted from counter-height to the perfect viewing angle for lying in the tub and watching a show. There are wheels on the bottom that are big enough that you can easily roll it over rugs and door sills without issue. The screen swivels so you can always adjust the angle and the orientation, which makes it useful for streaming videos from all platforms, including TikTok and YouTube. It works with both a remote and a touchscreen, so you can lie back and control it when you're using it as a television and use the touchscreen when you need to use it as a tablet. The battery lasts around three hours if you're using it as a television, which is plenty for me. I usually have it plugged in if I'm marathoning movies in bed, but three hours is absolutely enough otherwise. It uses LG's smart TV interface to access the best streaming services, allowing you to watch your favorite content. Cons to consider When I first showed my fiancé (who majored in electrical engineering and now works as a software engineer) the listing for this television, he sputtered at the price for the picture quality and size. He was insistent that it cost too much for what it was and immediately began brainstorming solutions that could execute the same concept for a lower cost. He researched rolling stands and smart TVs that could fit on them. He looked up large tablets, ways to deal with cords, and floor stands that almost worked but had no wheels and wouldn't fit a screen large enough. After all his research, he conceded that there really wasn't a better, cheaper option for exactly what I needed. I've heard the StanbyME referred to in other reviews as a "so-so TV on a stellar stand," and I think that's a fair assessment. But if, like me, you aren't picky about picture quality and are primarily focused on convenience, I think it's 100% worth it. The bottom line I wanted a portable TV with a battery that I could use by the bathtub, in bed, in the kitchen, and even outside. After nearly two years of daily use, I can confirm that this is indeed the solution I was looking for. If you're struggling with how to fit a TV into your small or atypical space, I highly recommend you check out the StanbyME; it's an elegant and smart alternative to devoting space to a permanent TV fixture in your home.
