Katy Perry celebrates major career milestone as ex Orlando Bloom reveals his loneliness after split
The pop superstar, 40, has been riding an emotional rollercoaster lately, breaking down mid-performance during the final show of her Lifetimes tour in Australia on Tuesday as she struggled to hold back tears in front of a packed crowd.
Meanwhile, Orlando—who she called it quits with after nine years—has been putting on a bit of a different show.
The actor shared a cryptic Instagram post about 'loneliness and darkness' even as he partied his way through Europe, including a wild weekend celebrating Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's lavish wedding and a star-studded yacht bash in Rome.
But the tides seem to be turning for Katy.
On Thursday, she hit a major career high: her 2010 anthem Teenage Dream officially hit 1 BILLION streams on Spotify—marking her 10th song to cross the milestone.

Teenage Dream, released as the second single from her 2010 album of the same name, became a cultural phenomenon.
It hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Perry the first woman in history to score five No. 1 singles from one album.
The track was produced by Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Dr. Luke.
Katy's long-time producer Dr. Luke has been at the center of controversy since 2014, when pop star Kesha accused him of emotional abuse and sexual assault in a high-profile legal battle that sparked widespread industry backlash.
While Dr. Luke denied all allegations and was not criminally charged, he filed a defamation suit.
The long-running defamation lawsuit between Kesha and Dr. Luke was settled In June 2023.
Both parties announced they had reached a resolution and agreed to a joint statement, effectively ending the legal battle.
Last week, it was revealed that Orlando and Katy officially called it quits after dating for nine years.
Bloom's disheartening post was shared on Thursday
At the time, a source told Us Weekly: 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' while also adding that the separation has been 'not contentious' thus far.
'Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.'
The Teenage Dream hitmaker - who is currently embarking on her Lifetimes Tour - was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.
The insider further added that the reported breakup had been 'a long time coming' and that their relationship had also been 'tense for months.'
In the wake of the separation, Bloom whisked himself away to Venice to attend the star-studded nuptials between Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez this past weekend.
The actor was spotted mingling with a number of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Sydney Sweeney.
Fresh from three days partying at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's Venice wedding extravaganza, Orlando headed on board Ritz-Carlton's gleaming 794ft Luminara for its inaugural cruise from Rome.
Bloom was also recently spotted cozying up to Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, during a water taxi ride as they headed to the airport following the Amazon founder's wedding this past weekend
