Andhra Pradesh govt. gives cheque for ₹50 lakh and land documents to Army jawan Murali Naik's family
Ms. Savitha visited Murali Naik's native place, Kalli Thanda, in Gorantla mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district, and consoled the family members. She also handed over the documents pertaining to five acres of land for agriculture and six cents of housing plot to the family members. She assured the government's full support to the family.
Ms. Savitha said Murali Naik would remain in the hearts of the people forever. She said a CC road would be laid at a cost of ₹16 lakh from the residence of Murali Naik to the ghat where he was laid to rest. His bronze statue would also be installed at Gorantla and in the district headquarters in memory of the brave soldier, she added.

India to host UN troop contributor chiefs' conclave; Pakistan, China excluded
The Indian Army will host the United Nations Troop Contributor Chiefs' Conclave in October 2025.
