Andhra Pradesh govt. gives cheque for ₹50 lakh and land documents to Army jawan Murali Naik's family
BC Welfare Minister S. Savitha on Tuesday handed over a cheque for ₹50 lakh to the family members of Murali Naik, the soldier who attained martyrdom during Operation Sindoor. Ms. Savitha visited Murali Naik's native place, Kalli Thanda, in Gorantla mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district, and consoled the family members. She also handed over the documents pertaining to five acres of land for agriculture and six cents of housing plot to the family members. She assured the government's full support to the family. Ms. Savitha said Murali Naik would remain in the hearts of the people forever. She said a CC road would be laid at a cost of ₹16 lakh from the residence of Murali Naik to the ghat where he was laid to rest. His bronze statue would also be installed at Gorantla and in the district headquarters in memory of the brave soldier, she added.

Andhra Deputy CM Pawan extends Rs 25 lakh aid to slain jawan's kin
ANANTAPUR: Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Konidala Pawan Kalyan kept his promise made during the martyred Jawan Murali Naik's funeral and extended financial aid of Rs 25 lakh from his own funds to the family members on Saturday. Jana Sena MLAs Arani Srinivasulu (Tirupati), Nimmala Jayakrishna (Palakonda), Anantapur-Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) Chairman TC Varun, along with several other key Jana Sena leaders, visited Murali Naik's hometown Kalli Thanda in Gorantla mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district and paid floral tributes to the slain jawan's portrait. Later, the MLAs handed over the cheque to Murali Naik's parents and enquired about their well-being. On the occasion, the Jana Sena MLAs assured that the coalition government will stand by the jawan's family and told Murali's parents, Jyothibai and Sriram Nayak, that the entire nation is indebted to them, whose son had made the supreme sacrifice while defending the country.

Rs 25 lakh financial aid given to martyred soldier's kin
Kalli Tanda: Jana Sena Party has fulfilled the promise made by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan by providing Rs 25 lakh financial assistance to the family of Murali Naik, the soldier who attained martyrdom in the India-Pakistan conflict while serving the nation. The financial aid was handed over in the form of a cheque by Janasena MLAs Arani Srinivasulu (Tirupati) and Nimmala Jayakrishna (Palakonda), accompanied by Ahuda Chairman TC Varun, former minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy, and other senior Janasena leaders. The delegation visited Kalli Tanda village in Gorantla Mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district, the native place of the martyr, and paid floral tributes at Murali Naik's portrait. During the visit, the leaders personally handed over the cheque to Murali's parents, Jyothibai and Sriram Naik, and inquired about their well-being. They assured them that the coalition government stands firmly with their family and that they would have the opportunity to meet Pawan Kalyan in person soon. 'The entire nation is indebted to families like Murali Naik's who raise brave son that lay down his live for the country,' said the MLAs, adding that Murali's sacrifice has made the country proud.

COAS General Dwivedi pays tribute to Agniveer Murli Naik killed in Operation Sindoor
New Delhi [India], May 21 (ANI): Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi and other officials of the Indian Army paid homage to Agniveer Murali Naik, who lost his life in the line of duty during Operation Sindoor. Murali Naik was gravely injured during heavy shelling from the Pakistani side along the Line of Control (LoC) on May 8. Despite immediate medical treatment, he succumbed to his injuries on May 9. In a post on X, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG-PI)-Indian Army said, 'General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS, and All Ranks of the #IndianArmy pay homage to the unwavering courage of #Braveheart Agniveer Murlinaik who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty during OPERATION SINDOOR.' 'His indomitable valour will forever be etched in our hearts. The Indian Army stands resolutely with his family in this hour of grief,' the post stated. Earlier, the White Knight Corps, in a post on X, paid tribute to AgniVeer Naik, who was killed during Operation Sindoor. The Corps stated, 'GOC and all ranks of White Knight Corps salute AgniVeer Mood Muralinaik, who made the supreme sacrifice during Operation Sindoor. His courage and dedication to duty remain etched in our memory. We continue to stand with the bereaved family.' Operation Sindoor was India's military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people, including a Nepali national. It marked a decisive moment in India's defence strategy, as the Indian Army launched a series of successful strikes against Pakistan's forward posts and terrorist camps across the Line of Control (LoC). Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also honoured the soldier's heroism and expressed his condolences on the young jawan's death in Ananthapuram district. According to an official release from the TDP, CM Naidu spoke with Murali's parents, Jyotibai and Ram Naik, and offered the state government's Naidu highlighted Murali Naik's invaluable service to the army over the past two years and praised his dedication to his country, calling on the public to unite in patriotism and honour the fallen soldier's sacrifice.
