Hibs players start pre-season training
David Gray's squad reported into East Mains for testing with the Club's strength and conditioning, and medical departments.
Tests included important health and fitness monitoring, as well as gruelling sprints sessions outside on HTC's artificial surface.
The Club's new Joma training wear was on show for the first time at HTC, detailing the new 'HFC' on the chest.
The international stars will be back at East Mains a week later than the rest of the squad, including Kieron Bowie, Martin Boyle, Jack Iredale, Alasana Manneh, Nathan Moriah-Welsh and Jordan Obita.
The rest of the players will continue their pre-season training in East Lothian before heading out to the Netherlands for a week's camp, further details on the training camp will be confirmed in due course.
Competitive action starts for David Gray's men in late July when we enter the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.

Nine photos as Hibs jet out for Europa League clash including record breaker boost
Hibs are on their travels as they get set to face FC Midtjylland in the first leg of their Europa League second qualifying round. Head coach David Gray is hoping for a positive result that sets them up nicely for a return leg at Easter Road in just over a week. Wing-back Chris Cadden said ahead of this clash: ' We're looking forward to the challenge, obviously away leg first, it'll be tough. We're under no illusions about how tough it's going to be and the pedigree they've got, but we need to be the best version of ourselves to go and beat them. 'I look around at our squad it's top quality, the additions have been really good, settled in really well and yes, obviously a positive season last season, so we need to keep on rolling with that and add quality, which I think we've done.'The squad depth we've got is really good, you can see the level in training as well. 'It's a massive game and it's the rewards of how well we've done last year, so first of all we'll go and enjoy it, take the challenge on head on and go and be the best versions of ourselves which we can be. We know it will be tough, but we're a good team as well, we know that and we're third place in the league for that reason, so we need to remember that and keep going.' Ex Hibs pair join free agent squad as ex Hibees, Celtic and Sunderland man amongst aces aiming for contracts
One of the familiar Hibs faces left the club this summer while another won the Scottish cup at Easter Road alongside stints at Celtic, Sunderland and more. David Gray's side have signed Thibault Klidje, Jamie McGrath, Josh Mulligan and Raphael Sallinger in this window but more could be on the way. Ex players could be on the move and one of them looking to be is Dylan McGeouch, who was last at Carlisle United but is now out of contract. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad McGeouch started his career at Celtic and made 27 appearances with two goals and three assists at his boyhood side. He spent time out on loan at Hibs during his Celtic spell before three permanent years where the midfielder made himself a hero over 121 appearances, part of the squad that won the 2016 Scottish Cup. Form at Easter Road earned him a chance at Sunderland who he featured for on 42 occasions and he has since been at Aberdeen, Forest Green Rovers plus Carlisle United. Former Hibs, Sunderland and Celtic star amongst players looking for transfers He has joined up with the PFA free agent squad for pre season training. A total of 38 players are being put through their paces as they look to impress suitors searching for players ahead of their respective seasons. Another member of the group is Max Boruc, who left Hibs at the end of his contract earlier this summer. Boruc played three times for Hibs on a competitive stage. Dwight Gayle was part of the group last season and the Easter Road side signed him on a one year deal, as the veteran striker played a key role in helping head coach Gray and co to third place in the Premiership before hanging up his boots. The ex Newcastle United and Crystal Palace striker said in May of his time in the PFA squad: 'It's been a fantastic opportunity for a lot of the boys to come in and to play with other players and to get that on field coaching and get the fitness back. I think it's a great thing that the PFA put on and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad What Hibs favourite though of PFA free agency camp 'It's been amazing not just on the field but they're obviously sending you a lot of the data and any little things that you need nutrition-wise and stuff like that. They are more than happy to help with anything that they can. 'I think a lot of older boys find it a little bit easier as it's obviously a very stressful time not knowing where you're going to be and stuff like that whereas for the older boys, when you're going home with families and things to do, it can obviously take your mind off things. 'Whereas some of the younger boys might find it a bit more difficult obviously going home and feeling that stress and I think coming into training just helps take that away. Getting that exercise in and being around other boys just helps to relax the players as well with their minds a bit.'

Midtjylland are as hard as it gets but Hibs can cause an upset and here is my honest Europa League prediction
This draw is about as hard as it gets but if Hibs have courage and keep it tight, they can upset the applecart Hibs are underdogs but if they bare their teeth then they can become David Gray 's Great Danes. When you look at the draw, it looks a tough one on paper. Midtjylland finished second in the league last season, only a point behind Copenhagen and we know Copenhagen are usually in and about the Champions League group stages. Midtjylland is a good side. It's a really, really tough draw but Hibs are capable of causing a wee upset. It is not impossible but I do think Midtjylland are favourites, but Hibs can go over there and cause them problems. I'm going for 2-2 in Denmark. Gray and his players need to travel to Herning with belief. I watched Midtjylland the other night in their 3-3 draw with Odense. Their season has just started as well, which is good for us. So they're kind of on a similar boat to Hibs, although they've got a game under their belt. Midjytlland could have scored seven or eight but they could also have conceded four or five. If Hibs go there and sit in and try and contain them, I think they're on to a hiding to nothing. David will be positive and he has to be. The team he put out against Bolton, I think, would probably be the team he would play in Denmark, barring any knocks or injuries, with Kieron Bowie and Martin Boyle up front. If you get at them, you can cause them problems, because I definitely thought Midtjylland looked ropey at the back. Hibs will also need to be solid at the back like they were last season. The second half of the season, with the three at the back. Hibs will need to defend well over there to keep it alive coming back to Easter Road. They've got the two Cadden brothers, Chris and Nicky, in the wide areas who deliver great balls. When you've got that kind of delivery wide, you need two strikers to go and attack them. But Hibs will need to defend well at the other end. I was really impressed with Midjtylland going forward, from the highlights I saw. The left-sided player Franculino Dju is one that stood out. He scored twice and looked rapid. They've also got a Polish striker, Adam Bursa, who scored as well. Midtjylland looked fluid up front and they like to dominate. This is Hibs' biggest challenge. It's a good draw for Hibs if they were to progress, when I look at Fredrikstad from Norway. You'd be delighted to play them in the next round. I believe Midtjylland is the hardest one of them all. If you drop down to the Conference League then Partizan Belgrade is a big name but they haven't been great over the last few seasons. It is Partizan or the Ukrainian team FC Oleksandriya. I don't think it is the worst draw. It all comes down to these two games against Midtjylland. I also like the business Hibs have done this summer. We have a really strong squad now. Josh Mulligan is an excellent signing. I really liked him at Dundee and there were obviously a lot of rumours about him going to Rangers. When you look at the profile he's a young Scottish player. He reminds me a wee bit of Gavin Rae. He has a great engine, can play in centre-midfield or on the right-hand side. They've signed the Austrian keeper Raphael Sallinger. He'll provide competition for Jordan Smith. Smith didn't do anything wrong last season, so I think he'll start. They have also shown a statement of intent with the record signing of striker Thibault Klidge from Luzern. He looks quick and mobile up the top. When you splash out that type of money, you're looking for a big impact. Jamie McGrath has also come in on a big contract. I still think they need another striker because I'm not sure about Elie Youan if he's going to be there long term. There's competition for places everywhere. It gives everyone at Easter Road hope that they can build on last season's success.
