Virgin Island viewers floored after show 'turns into Naked Attraction'
After a preview of tonight's episode was released earlier today, fans were 'mentally preparing themselves' for the show to take to the 'next level'.
The controversial Channel 4 series charts the journey of 12 adult virgins who travel to a Croatian island to embark upon a journey of intimacy.
Aged between 22 and 30, the contestants have so far tapped 'into their primal animalistic self' by nuzzling relationship coaches.
But tonight's episode saw the participants make a decision whether or not to be fully naked or not in the mirror.
As the contestants made a decision how far they wanted to 'de-robe', viewers deemed it as being eerily similar to another series.
Writing on X, @Mayce_Windu said: 'This is starting to look like Naked Attraction.'
@Nicholstix added: 'I'm so uncomfortable with literally everything in this show… but at the same time, I can't stop bloody watching it!!'
@darrenbizzle2 also said: 'Me toes are curling up already.'
Earlier this week, a Virgin Island star defended the show after viewers slammed it as being 'exploitative'.
Ben Harris – who features on the show – said: 'I don't regret taking part at all'.
Writing on his own blog, Ben opened up about his previous experiences being bullied in school and how it instilled within him this belief that 'I was physically repulsive to women.'
He also explained how he was still a virgin despite going on more than 40 different dates with women and having two girlfriends.
After deciding to go on the show, Ben praised how the 'selection process was incredibly thorough' and said Channel 4 handled this matter 'sensitively'. More Trending
He went on to say: 'Despite, or perhaps because of, the rise of dating apps and social media, adult virgins in their 20s and early 30s are becoming increasingly common.
'Prime age adults are both more connected and yet paradoxically more isolated from one another than they've ever been.
'If this show helps to clear even a fraction of the stigma associated with being an adult virgin, it'll have all been worth it. Even if it doesn't, I know I got a lot out of it, and I don't regret taking part at all.'

Coronation Street casts new Rovers family led by 90s TV legend
A new era dawns for Coronation Street's signature boozer, with the Rovers Return set to get new owners who are all played by very familiar faces. Catherine Tyldesley is set to stage a comeback as Eva Price this autumn to take the reins of the iconic TV pub from Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) but she won't be alone, with new beau Ben Driscoll and his interfering mum Maggie by her side. Eva and Ben will first appear on-screen in October, when the residents of Weatherfield learn of who will be taking over as publicans of the Rovers. Eva, who was last seen behind the bar in 2018, will be reunited with sisters Toyah (Georgia Taylor) and Leanne (Jane Danson), but just what has she been up to since her exit? That is the question. Stepping into Ben's shoes is Hope Street star Aaron McCusker, who is no stranger to pulling a pint or two given that he plays pub landlord Clint Dunwoody in the BBC One drama, which will return for its fifth series later this year. Aaron is also known for playing Jamie McGuire in Shameless and for playing Jim Hutton, Freddie Mercury's boyfriend, in the acclaimed 2018 movie Bohemian Rhapsody. Maggie, meanwhile, will be played by none other than Pauline McLynn, best known for playing Mrs Doyle in Father Ted, Yvonne Cotton in EastEnders and Libby Croker on Shameless. Ben's two sons and Eva's daughter Suzie will also be joining the cast, with the Price/Driscoll family set to make quite an entrance. More Trending 'We are beyond thrilled that Eva is returning as the landlady of the Rovers, with her new blended family in tow,' said Corrie boss Kate Brooks. 'The Driscolls do not arrive quietly, so expect big drama, explosive secrets and raucous knees ups galore. 'To have actors of Catherine, Aaron and Pauline's considerable calibre at the beating heart of this family is absolutely wonderful, and we can't wait for you to get to know and fall in love with them as much as we have already done. Strap yourselves in, it's going to be an exciting and eventful ride.' View More » Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX and YouTube.
