AngryGinge left utterly bemused by item in Luke Littler's house - 'Why on earth'
AngryGinge was left in a state of confusion when he spotted a Christmas tree on display in Luke Littler's house earlier this month. The darts sensation and the YouTube content creator teamed up during an instalment of Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox when Ginge - real name Morgan Burtwhistle - spotted something a little unusual in Littler's front room.
Leaving the sofa while chuckling, Ginge said: "Yeah just a genuine question Luke. Why the hell have you got a Christmas tree in your house and we're on the 8th of June?," as he dragged the decorated faux Fir into shot. Struggling to keep his own laughter in, Littler replied: "Yeah, good question."
After a brief pause, he added: "We were at the World Championships for the whole of December pretty much, become the champion and we just never took it down. Can't take it down now," before Ginge replied: "So it's just there forever now?"
With quick wit, Littler responded: "Yeah it's there until next Christmas now," before an intrigued Ginge asked: "But you're going to be at the World Championships again, so is it just gonna stay there again?"
Littler added: "Yeah but when we get back it'll go. Can't be up for a full year," as Ginge cackled off screen. Littler made history in January by becoming the youngest-ever player to win a PDC World Championship by beating seasoned veteran Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace at the age of just 17 years and 347 days old.
And while 'The Nuke' looked likely to defend his Premier League Darts crown last month at London's O2 after topping the league standings, world No. 1 Luke Humphries proved too hot to handle in the final as Littler suffered an 11-8 loss. The pair recently teamed up in the World Cup of Darts but suffered a shock defeat to Germany in the last-16.
Fresh off the back of an inaugural Baller League UK season in which he guided his Yanited team to a runners-up finish to Alisha Lehmann and Maya Jama's MVPs United, Ginge is currently gearing up to play at Soccer Aid on Sunday.
The lifelong Manchester United fan will see his dreams come true when he graces the hallowed turf of Old Trafford alongside a number of Red Devils legends, including Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville, John O'Shea, Nemanja Vidic and Edwin van der Sar in aid of Unicef.
And Ginge will also link up with a whole host of household names in doing so, with the likes of British long-distance legend Mo Farah, TV adventurer survivalist Bear Grylls, funny man Paddy McGuinness and One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson also taking part in the coveted charity football match.
Coverage of the event starts at 6pm on ITV1 and ITVX, before kick-off lands at 7.30pm. No stranger to playing as well as managing, it comes after Ginge took part in the 2025 Sidemen Charity Football Match at a jam-packed Wembley earlier this year.
The YouTube star - who has amassed more than 816,000 subscribers on the platform - was part of the YouTube Allstars team back in March, scoring in the 58th minute of the 9-9 thriller before winning on penalties. He also took part in the match back in 2023 as part of Sidemen FC in an 8-5 win at West Ham's London Stadium.

McIntosh eases into 400 medley final, Marchand almost misses out
Aug 3 (Reuters) - Summer McIntosh is on track to finish the world championships with a fourth gold medal after being fastest in the 400 metres individual medley heats while Leon Marchand nearly missed the men's final on the eighth and final day in Singapore on Sunday. McIntosh cruised to victory in her heat in four minutes and 35.56 seconds for the final later on Sunday, nearly 12 seconds shy of her world record (4:23.65) from Canadian trials in June. The biggest cheers might have been for 12-year-old Yu Zidi, though, as the Chinese schoolgirl won her heat to qualify third for the final in 4:36.49, less than a second off the personal best (4:35.53) that clinched the national title in May. Marchand, who took the 200m IM gold after setting a world record in the semi-finals, led halfway through his 400 heat but slowed up almost too much in the breaststroke and freestyle legs as he qualified seventh for the final in the evening session. While nearly three seconds behind Japanese top seed Tomoyuki Matsushita, Olympic champion and world record holder Marchand will be strongly backed to win his third 400 world title. Bonnie Blue's 'controversial' Channel 4 documentary '1000 Men and Me' suffers fresh blow as firms pull adverts as the content 'glamorises porn'
Bonnie Blue has taken another hit as her Channel 4 documentary '1000 Men and Me' has been snubbed by firms who have refused to run adverts alongside the programme. The show, which was broadcast on Tuesday, has been heavily criticised for glamorising porn and some companies have decided they don't want their products associated with the adult content star. And it's not just businesses, as the children's commissioner has also demanded the broadcaster remove adverts from the documentary. The shocking programme followed Bonnie Blue, real name Tia Bellinger, as she geared up to complete her goal of having sex with 1,000 men in 12 hours. The Channel 4 show followed the adult content creator, providing behind-the-scenes insight and interviews. However it has been criticised for failing to challenge the star or the men involved and the wider impacts on attitudes towards sex. The programme did not pixelate any nudity and included clips from Bonnie Blue's stunt including a snippet of the star having sex with three men at the same time. In reaction to the documentary, card payment service Visa, juice brand Cawston Press and vodka brand Smirnoff, which is owned by drinks company Diego, have told Channel 4 they did not want their products associated with the controversial content. They added they did not want their products promoted because it was not in line with their advertising guidelines and company values. The broadcaster has also been slammed for making the programme freely available to under-18s via the app and its on demand player despite it being shown at 10pm after the watershed. While viewers under 18-years-old are technically blocked from such content, there is no age verification process and the show was released just days after new rules were introduced to social media sites to improve children's online safety. Children's commissioner Dame Rachel de Souza said: 'This documentary risks taking us a step back by glamorising, even normalising, the things young people tell me are frightening, confusing and damaging to their relationships.' Ian Katz, chief content officer at Channel 4, defended the documentary, telling the Sunday Times that it is 'clearly a legitimate subject' as Bonnie Blue is a 'huge phenomenon' who has 'transformed the porn industry'. He also claimed Blue was sufficiently challenged about her actions in the programme. It comes after the star was kicked out of a Premier League game in May- but not before performing a vulgar gesture. The programme did not pixelate any nudity and included clips from Bonnie Blue's stunt including a snippet of the star having sex with three men at the same time Blue was ejected from the Chelsea away end as the team fought it out against Nottingham Forest for the a Champions League berth. Footage posted online showed a member of Forest's 'response team' speaking to a companion of Bonnie - before ushering the pair out. However, the adult actress mimicked a sex act before turning to leave - then stopped to bend over provocatively in front of the security guard. The clip was posted online with the caption 'Bonnie blue just got kicked out of the away end wtf' and shows fans booing as she was escorted out.
