Actor Shefali Jariwala once revealed in an interview that she struggled with anxiety and epilepsy while growing up, which also affected her work choices later. The actor died at 42 on Friday night. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.The actor, who rose to fame as the 'Kaanta Laga' girl after her iconic dance video, told ETimes that she would get seizures as a teenager. "I had an epilepsy seizure at the age of 15. I remember at that time, I was under tremendous pressure to do well in my studies. Stress and anxiety can lead to seizures. It's interrelated, you could get a seizure due to depression and vice versa," she said.advertisementJariwala, who married actor Parag Tyagi in 2014, added that she would also struggle with the condition backstage when she had just begun her career. "I have got seizures in classrooms, backstage, while on roads, and somewhere that lowered my self-esteem," she said.

I can now say that it was because of the epilepsy seizures that I couldn't take up much work. I didn't know when I would get my next seizure... this went on for 15 years," she explained.Jariwala didn't disclose if she managed to completely beat the epilepsy episodes, but mentioned that her body showed better resistance.
