Arsenal beaten by Tottenham as Viktor Gyokeres makes debut
Arteta turned to Gyokeres with 14 minutes left of the friendly and with Arsenal behind after Pape Sarr's long-range effort on the stroke of half-time, but Swedish forward Gyokeres was a largely isolated figure and failed to stop a 1-0 loss.

Wilson Odobert and Richarlison also struck the woodwork for Tottenham during a first half which seemed destined to end goalless until Sarr's sublime intervention.
Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya raced out to pass to Myles Lewis-Skelly, who was dispossessed and Sarr was alert to chip into the empty net from close to the halfway line in the 45th minute.
Chances were few and far between in the second half before Arteta turned to his bench after Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz and summer recruit Martin Zubimendi had been wasteful in front of goal.
Gyokeres was introduced for Havertz in the 76th minute and while he fashioned a late missed chance for Zubimendi, the former Sporting Lisbon attacker's first appearance for Arsenal ended in defeat.

PA understands the 23-year-old keen to make the switch and ready to sign a five-year deal at Turf Moor. Burnley could reportedly pay in the region of £20million to sign the Chelsea academy graduate, who has spent time on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, Southampton, Fulham and Everton. The Albania international did not score during last season's injury-disrupted loan at Goodison Park, with the Toffees deciding not to take up their option to make the move permanent.

The youngster replicated his rival's lotus pose, meditation celebration. It was a moment that prompted plenty of laughter and a degree of criticism. Reflecting on the incident, Haaland was more blase than most however. "They won the game 5-1. So yeah, they got me," he told TIME. "If he wanted to use that moment to mock me, that's fair enough for him. Whatever he wants to do, he can do." It was not the first time that Haaland had seen his celebration used against him. While still playing for Borussia Dortmund, Neymar produced it to hit out at him, while the whole Paris Saint-Germain team replicated it at full-time of the same match. Haaland remains unperturbed. The giant striker will make up part of Manchester City's leadership team next season and hopes to bring some stoicism to the squad. "I'm quite calm in my head," Haaland said. "That's a good thing to bring to others as well, even when the situation can be a bit wild.' Last season, and City's disappointing failure to defend their Premier League title is behind him. "I almost forgot it until you started speaking about it," Haaland added. "I cannot keep on thinking about last season. That last season was not good enough, this or that.
