A judge has dismissed five charges against Sean 'Diddy' Combs in a $30 million sexual assault lawsuit. The accusations from former producer Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones alleged racketeering, infliction of emotional distress and sexual assault, among other allegations. In an order filed earlier today and reviewed by Variety, Judge J Paul Oetken granted and denied parts of Combs' motion to dismiss the case. The judge dismissed the charges of racketeering; negligent and intentional infliction of emotional distress; breach of contract; and a Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) claim.

COUNT ONE – Racketeering ConspiracyNOT GUILTY COUNT TWO – Sex Trafficking of Casandra VenturaNOT GUILTY COUNT THREE – Transportation to engage in prostitution – Casandra VenturaGUILTY COUNT FOUR – Sex Trafficking of JaneNOT GUILTY COUNT FIVE – Transportation to engage in prostitution – JaneGUILTY 相關報導 >「超規格 17 人編制」韓國跨界團體 Balming Tiger 世界巡演「台灣站」倒數計時 >網羅日韓全明星陣容,JP THE WAVY 發行全新專輯《WAVY TAPE 3》 >ARMY 們準備好了嗎?BTS 正式宣佈將於 2026 春季「全員回歸」

Michael Douglas says he has 'no real intentions' of returning to acting

"If something special came up, I'd go back, but otherwise, no," he said. 3:24 Michael Douglas is pressing pause on acting -- at least for now. While speaking recently at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic, where he presented a newly restored print of Miloš Forman's classic 1975 film "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," which Douglas co-produced, the Oscar-winning actor opened up about his future in the industry. 'I have not worked since 2022 purposefully because I realized I had to stop,' Douglas said, according to Variety. 'I had been working pretty hard for almost 60 years and I did not want to be one of those people who dropped dead on the set.' He continued, 'I have no real intentions of going back. I say I'm not retired because if something special came up, I'd go back, but otherwise, no.' Douglas, who will turn 81 years old in September, last appeared on the big screen in 2023's "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," and most recently portrayed Benjamin Franklin in the 2024 Apple TV+ miniseries "Franklin." He's also set to star alongside his son, Cameron Douglas, in the upcoming film "Looking Through Water," which has yet to receive a release date. The conversation during the Karlovy Vary Film Festival press conference also touched on Douglas' past health struggles. Reflecting on his 2010 battle with stage 4 tongue cancer, he shared that he opted for chemotherapy and radiation over surgery, which would have involved removing part of his jaw and threatened his ability to speak and act. 'Stage 4 cancer is not a holiday but there aren't many choices, are there?' he said. 'I went with the program, involving chemo and radiation, and was fortunate. The surgery would have meant not being able to talk and removing part of my jaw and that would have been limiting as an actor.' Douglas, who is married to longtime wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, also revealed that he has 'one little independent movie' in the works but joked that these days that 'in the spirit of maintaining a good marriage,' he's 'happy to play the wife' to Jones.

Dakota Johnson won't spend time on 'toxic' sets

Dakota Johnson won't "waste time" on "toxic" movie sets anymore. The Fifty Shades of Grey actress is relishing her behind-the-scenes role as a producer because it helps her to put together a working environment that is "fun" and "fulfilling". She told Variety: 'If there's not a healthy collaboration, if it's not a good match, then it's not a good match. We really don't move forward if it's not a good match. 'I can't waste time on toxic sets anymore, or in situations that are not fun or fulfilling or healthy. That's one of the perks of [producing], because I get to put amazing people together and make something." Dakota didn't share any details of any past "toxic" experiences but stressed she has no desire to work with 'anybody who's mean or condescending or unkind.' She added: 'I don't want to face people who are not willing to collaborate, and then there are obvious things. 'We all know what a toxic set is by now. We're artists, so there's room for expansive personalities, and we're working with emotions.' But the Materialists star admitted that doesn't mean there isn't scope for healthy disageements. She added: 'I love a healthy argument on a set, and I also believe that the most excellent idea wins. It's not a fight. It's not a race. It's a collaboration.' Dakota confessed she can be "pretty vocal" when it comes to advocating for herself at work. She said: 'I think now, just being in the position of being a producer and developing my own films, I can choose all the people who are in it, and that makes a huge difference." Dakota is preparing to make her directorial debut, with the "amazing" Vanessa Burghardt in the lead role in the untitled movie, and although she doesn't feel confident in her filmmaking abilities, she's thrilled to be working with her pal. She said: 'I've always felt that I'm not ready to direct a feature. "I don't have the confidence, but, with her, I feel very protective and I know her very well. I can see this world, so I just won't let anybody else do it. That's the real answer.'
