Monday's episode of Coronation Street saw Mick Michaelis go on a furious rampage after finding out 16-year-old Brody might not be his biological son.
Mick turned violent as he demanded answers from wife Lou Michaelis about her past with their former pal, Kit Green.
Corrie viewers got an upsetting insight into Lou's domestic abuse from Mick - which left the residents on the cobbles worried for Lou's safety.
Meanwhile, Craig Tinker was determined to prove himself on the first day of his CID training.
He pulled over Mick at the Weatherfield Precinct for drink-driving.
Hellbent on getting revenge on Kit, Mick violently attacked Craig with a bat and left him for dead.
Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap will see Craig rushed to hospital and desperately try to make his police colleagues aware of who was responsible for attacking him.
Craig Tinker actor Colson Smith said: "I can't wait for people to see Craig's final scenes. It is exactly the exit I wanted for him and we are all really proud of what we filmed in those final weeks.
"It was actually great fun. I was walking around covered in fake blood for days and I was chuffed that I got to work with so many brilliant people in this final storyline."
Back in March, The Sun revealed how Colson's character Craig would be killed off in a dramatic storyline.
A source told us: "Craig has grown up on the street and he's become part of it so it was a tough decision to make but one that will be worth it.
"PC Tinker will meet his maker in heroic circumstances this summer and there won't be a dry eye in the house when it goes out.
"Colson is taking it well and there's a real feeling that this chapter is closing for him and there are bigger and brighter things ahead."
Corrie cash crisis: shock exits for 2025
ITV bosses are locked in a battle to save the cash-strapped soap.
This means that a number of stars have either been axed from or have abandoned the long-running serial drama.
Colson Smith - Craig Tinker
The character of Craig Tinker has been axed by bosses after 14 years. After he was told of the news in Autumn 2024, Colson Smith confirmed that would be written out of the show with scenes to air later this year. Craig's on-screen mum, Beth Tinker, also left the show in the summer when actress Lisa George was written out from the role.
Sue Cleaver - Eileen Grimshaw
After 25 years playing Eileen Grimshaw, former I'm A Celebrity campmate Sue Cleaver will quit the show. The Sun on Sunday reported in January that she's already begun to film her exit scenes. However the character will not be killed off in case Sue opts to make a return in the future.
Luca Toolan - Mason Radcliffe
Bosses decided to axe the teenage character after just 16 months after he first joined the show. Recent scenes saw Mason stabbed by his criminal brothers after his pal Dylan brought a knife in an attempt to defend him.
Sue Devaney - Debbie Webster
In November 2024, we revealed that Debbie Webster is set to be killed off after 40 years on the cobbles. The character will die as part of a heartbreaking long-running dementia storyline.
Charlotte Jordan - Daisy Midgeley
The actress became the fifth star to leave Coronation Street in just one month. We revealed that she will bow out of the ITV soap later this year after four years on-screen. Charlotte told sources that she's hungry to see what other opportunities await.
Shelley King - Yasmeen Metcalfe
The actress has played Yasmeen Metcalfe on the cobbles for the past 11 years and we revealed in January that she finished filming her final scenes. This follows the departure of her on-screen partner Stu Carpenter.
The 26-year-old actor was one of several stars who have been axed from the ITV soap.
Corrie is gearing up for a number of exits for some iconic characters this summer, including Eileen Grimhshaw is set to exit the cobbles with actress Sue Cleaver quitting the soap after an incredible 25 years.
The soap has already seen several characters depart the cobbles from the likes of Daisy Midgeley to Mason Radcliffe.
Coronation Street is facing a financial crisis due to soaring production costs, a decline in advertising revenue, and a drop in viewing figures, leading to budget cuts and cast departures.
Consequently, ITV is reducing the length of both Coronation Street and Emmerdale episodes from hour-long to 30-minute installments, starting in January 2026.
This change will create a "soaps power hour" where Emmerdale airs at 8pm, followed by Coronation Street at 8:30pm each weeknight.
But with ratings falling and viewers switching to streamers like Netflix, soap stars are fearing the axe - should they be worried?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.

Region's knife robberies rise despite 'dedicated task force'
Knife robberies have risen in Greater Manchester despite the creation of a special taskforce set up to combat the problem. The rise is relatively modest at 4%, but other areas considered knife robbery "hotspots" saw reductions, including a 25% drop in the West Midlands. The government announced the taskforce following a steep rise in knife crime in seven police force areas, and the scheme has led to a 6% drop nationally since July 2024. Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester, Kate Green, said the continued rise in region was related mostly to business robberies, and that "personal robberies" were coming down. Greater Manchester Police has recorded 1,345 knife-enabled robberies in the past 12 months, up from 1,288 recorded between July 2023 and June Green said the figures showed the increase in robberies was also "slowing down". "There's certainly much more to do," she said. "It's why we have a whole lot of initiatives running over this summer, policing the hot spots, stop and search, stopping vehicles and identifying the habitual knife carriers." The statistics include robberies involving the threat of a knife even if a blade is not actually seen by the victim. Moss Side based anti-knife crime campaigner and youth worker Kemoy Walker, whose nephew Prince Walker-Ayeni was stabbed to death aged 17 in April last year, said young people believed "boredom" was a factor in some offending. He told BBC Radio Manchester: "Young people have called out for diversionary activities because what they're saying is the reason why a lot of these things are happening in the community is because they're bored and they've got nothing to do."So as youth workers we've come up with a bit of a plan to try and look at what we can do to support the young people and that's what we're doing locally."Between July 2023 and June 2024, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, the West Midlands, Avon and Somerset, the Metropolitan Police and the British Transport Police areas accounted for 70% of knife robberies set up in those areas in July 2024 used tactics including drones, knife arches and detection dogs, with the seven forces also increasing visible patrols and the number of plain clothes officers on the Secretary Yvette Cooper said: "When we came to office, knife-enabled robbery was increasing at a concerning rate."We have now started to drive numbers of those offences down through the work of our dedicated taskforces, and as a result, we have also seen the first small reduction in overall knife crime for four years." Bradford teenager has been flying planes long before driving cars
A Bradford teenager has gained a private pilot's licence at just 17 years old and has dreams of becoming a commercial Mohammad started lessons at Sherburn Aero Club near Leeds on his 15th birthday, long before he could legally drive a car. Now he can fly solo and also carry passengers in a light aircraft. "I love every single thing about flying," Mustafa said. "The increased workload in the aircraft just relaxes your mind and makes you focused on just flying. "So anything else that you were thinking about gets left outside the aircraft."Training to gain a licence costs £13,000, which often excludes younger pilots, but Mustafa's family helped with the fees."A lot of people are surprised that I am only 17 years old and I've actually been flying planes for a lot longer than I've been driving cars," he added. His brother, Sohail Mohammad, believes he could be a trailblazer when he begins his career with an airline in the future."He has made us all really proud," he is in the middle of studying for his A Levels but is also continuing to take his aviation exams. He hopes to start training as a commercial pilot when he turns 21."I wanted to inspire young people because being a pilot is seen as quite an old person's job, but it is also suitable for young people, which is what I wanted to show the world."His instructor, Alastair Breckon, said: "He's been a joy and is a joy to teach and he soaks up the information. "He actually makes my job easy. "Going forward, I hope he invites me on board his 737 when he is the pilot of a holiday jet out to the Greek Islands. I think that would be wonderful closure." Tom Holland has his lips sealed about 'speculation' that he could be the next James Bond
His name has been bandied about along with other high-profile stars as a potential new star of the James Bond franchise. But Tom Holland didn't give any hints about the speculation when he was asked about it in a video posted Thursday. Rumors have ramped up that Holland could be in the running to take over for Daniel Craig as the iconic British secret agent in the wake of Dune director Denis Villeneuve signing on to helm the next film in the long-running series. A screenwriter for the highly anticipated film was also announced on Friday. While joining chef Gordon Ramsay on his YouTube channel to make fried chicken sandwiches and promote his non-alcoholic beer brand, Holland acknowledged the 'speculation' swirling around him. 'Listen, there's speculation at the minute. We'll keep it to a minimum for now,' he said with a sheepish grin. 'We'll get there one day.' 'Every young British actor, it's the pinnacle of working in our industry,' Holland continued. 'I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive. I could never have dreamed to have the career that I've had.' The next Bond film is coming into focus after the announcement on Friday that Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight would be joining Villeneuve behind the camera to write the next James Bond film. While speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast, Knight said: 'It has always been on my bucket list and it's fantastic to be invited to do it — I can't wait to get started.' The movie will be overseen by Amazon MGM Studios, after producer Barbara Broccoli gave up creative control of the Bond franchise. Amy Pascal and David Heyman have also been announced as producers, via Pascal Pictures and Heyday Films, respectively, while Tanya Lapointe is an executive producer on the project. Even though the creative team is falling into place for the next Bond film, there haven't been any indications of who will replace Craig — or which actors are being considered. Craig's final Bond film was 2021's dark No Time To Die, which was directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. The producers are reportedly looking for a considerably younger actor to take over the role after Craig — who is 57 — presented a more weathered, mortality-focused version of the beloved character. Holland is currently filming his fourth solo Spider-Man film, subtitled Brand New Day, which will reunite him with his costar and girlfriend Zendaya. Production began on Friday in Glasgow, Scotland, with portions of the city dressed up as New York City. According to The Sun, Liverpool had originally been intended to stand in as the Big Apple, but the location had to be changed in the wake of a shocking parade crash, which left 109 people injured. Tom had been spotted in Scotland earlier in July when he filmed scenes for Christopher Nolan's upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey, and he and Zendaya are reportedly back in country to begin shooting the Spider-Man sequel.
