Then there are various other party-affiliated groups – including Labour YIMBY (Yes In My Back Yard) and the Tory-uCarlton Club Political Committee, which regularly supports Tory MPs – which benefited from various five and six figure sums.
But what about our elected MPs?
Propping up the top of the list, perhaps unsurprisingly, are the Tory MPs who battled it out last year to be party leader.
Despite coming second, Robert Jenrick has been gifted the most of any individual MP since July 5 last year at £762,936.
This has included a donation of £35,000 from Quantum Pacific Corporation UK, which is owned by Idan Ofer, a London-based shipping and mining heir whose father was once Israel's richest man.
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch was given the second largest amount at £725,812.
This includes £150,000 from Lord Bamford of JC Bamford Excavators (JCB), who was a longtime Boris Johnson backer.
Erstwhile contenders Tom Tugendhat, James Cleverley and Priti Patel received £409,669, £293,500 and £201,332 respectively.
Other MPs who have received a hefty amount of money from donors includes Labour MP Clive Lewis, who has received £125,882 – much of which was from organisations such as Compass - Together for a Good Society Ltd, who support his bill looking to introduce the public ownership of water.
Lib Dem MP and former leader Tim Farron has received a hefty £73,364 including over £60k from Faith in Public, a religious think-tank he started.
Jeremy Corbyn is the ninth highest with nearly £70,000, over £60k of which came from Community Unity Ltd.

Ryanair sets monthly passenger record despite air traffic control strikes
The Dublin-based carrier announced 20.7 million passengers travelled on its flights in July. That is up 3% from 20.2 million during the same month last year. Its load factor – which represents the average proportion of seat filled on its aircraft – was stable at 96%. Ryanair said it operated more than 113,000 flights in July and cancelled 680, mainly because of French controller strikes. French ATC staff took industrial action on July 3 and 4 in a dispute over working conditions. As well as disrupting flights to and from French airports, the walkouts affected flights scheduled to travel over French airspace. This meant many services to or from UK airports were delayed or cancelled. EasyJet chief executive Kenton Jarvis previously described the French strikes as 'very, very disruptive' as they forced the airline to cancel 660 flights and cost it £15 million. Around 70% of easyJet's flights either fly to or from a French airport, or over the country's airspace. European air traffic management body Eurocontrol estimated the strikes affected more than one million passengers. Meanwhile, a radar fault suffered by UK ATC provider Nats led to more than 100 UK flights being cancelled on July 30.

Forbes calls for change for parents in politics after decision to quit
Ms Forbes will not seek re-election in the Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch constituency next year, bringing to an end – for at least the next election cycle – one of the most promising political careers in Scotland. In a letter to First Minister John Swinney, Ms Forbes said she did not want to 'miss any more of the precious early years of family life'. Ms Forbes – who has a two-year-old daughter and three step-daughters – pushed the Scottish Parliament to be better for those with young families working in politics. The parliament was viewed as a more family-friendly version of the Westminster legislature, but recent years have seen a number of women step back, citing the pressures on young parents. Former Tory leader Ruth Davidson, former minister Aileen Campbell and MSPs Jenny Marra and Gail Ross were among those who were outspoken in their thinking for standing down at the 2021 election. 'I'm not the first and, unless anything changes, I'm unlikely to be the last,' Ms Forbes said on BBC Radio Scotland on Tuesday. 'So many parents know the pressures and the guilt of balancing all of this, and I'm totally in the same camp as them.' Ms Forbes said there was the added stress of one of the country's furthest north constituencies, meaning an 'eight hours return trip to my place of work' and sometimes 'a minimum three to four hours drive across the constituency before the day even begins'. 'There are some areas I think the Parliament could do more and do better,' the Deputy First Minister said. She pointed to the Holyrood creche – a service which was seen as a sign of the more family-friendly ethos – which is only available for three hours per day, three days a week. Despite the decision announced on Monday, the Deputy First Minister did not completely close the door to a political return, saying 'maybe' she would consider such a move in 20 years. Since taking over as finance secretary in 2020 after the resignation of her predecessor Derek Mackay following a scandal involving messages he sent to a 16-year-old boy, Ms Forbes has been marked for leadership. She would ultimately lose the race for the SNP's top job after Nicola Sturgeon's resignation in 2023 in a contest marred by criticisms of her views on social issues such as abortion and gay marriage. Following the resignation of Humza Yousaf last year, Ms Forbes was handed the role of kingmaker, being the one to decide if the party would be forced to go through with a potentially damaging leadership contest, which she ultimately decided against in favour of a pact with First Minister John Swinney, becoming his deputy. The, sometimes ugly, criticisms levelled at the Deputy First Minister, she said, were 'in the past' as she continued to voice her support for the SNP and Scottish independence.

Santander Cycles down due to software upgrades, says TfL
More than 12,000 Santander Cycles across the capital are out of service due to an IT issue, Transport for London (TfL) has software upgrades had overrun and left users are unable to hire the bikes and e-bikes via the Santander Cycles app or docking stations on Tuesday commuter Aodh Ó Daighre told BBC London he unsuccessfully visited four different stations in an attempt to hire a apologised for the disruption and said they are working to "restore services as soon as possible". Mr Ó Daighre added: "I got to my usual station and tried to release a bike with my fob, which wouldn't work, so I tried to log into the app, which also wasn't working."I walked further onto the next station and also tried to use the screen on the terminal but it said that no bikes were available at the station. "[This was] particularly annoying as all the stations were over 80% full."
