Black Sabbath said farewell to their 58-year career in style with a surprising cameo from a Hollywood star in the crowd.
Lead singer Ozzy Osbourne, 76, was overwhelmed with emotion as he took to the stage one last time at Villa Park in Birmingham.
The Back to the Beginning show has been one of the hottest tickets this year, marking both the end and the first time the group had played together in 20 years.
Ahead of Ozzy's entrance, metal icons like Metallica and Slayer took to the stage but it was another familiar face who captured fans attention.
During Pantera's set, Jason Momoa burst from beside the stage and beelined straight for the growing mosh pit.
The Game of Thrones star climbed over the barrier and got stuck in as he fist-bumped fans who wildly jumped around him.
We're assuming Aquaman could hold his own but the camera didn't show him leaving the mosh pit at any point.
Fan videos flooded social media, with Jason, 45, visible on the big screen before the camera panned back to the stage.
Kornymoon on X posted: 'Jason Mamoa a real metalhead! Walked into the center of the pit to mosh with the crowd.'
'Imagine tearing it up in the pit to Tool, Metallica, and Black Sabbath…then you turn around and Aquaman is right there thrashing around and having the time of his life,' said goodbyefriend.
Retin_Dim added: 'My apologies, Jason Momoa. I was not familiar with your game.'
'It was fun watching him crowd surf! 🤘,' shared buzzsawsmom as others branded it 'epic'.

Jason wasn't the only celeb catching the final Black Sabbath show, with music legends like Queen's Sir Brian May, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and Rolling Stones icon Ronnie Wood also at the venue.
Black Sabbath's reunion gig was billed as the final ever show, after the deterioration of Ozzy's health over the past few years.
The legend sat in a leather bat throne and delivered a short solo set before being joined by bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.
Before leaving the stage, having sung hits like Crazy Train, Suicide Solution, and War Pigs, an emotional Ozzy closed the show with Paranoid and said: 'It's the last song ever.
'Your support has enabled us to live an amazing lifestyle…thank you from the bottom of our hearts.'
Afterwards, wife and manager of 40 years, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed she's finally 'done' after a lifetime in the music business. More Trending
The music mogul has spent much of the past few decade looking after her husband who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease back in 2003, after suffering a near-fatal quad bike accident the same year.
In 2019, Ozzy had a major fall in his LA home, which aggravated his quad bike injuries, dislodging metal rods in his back, neck and shoulders.
She told Billboard: 'I've been doing this since I was 15, and I'm done. We just want to live our life and do what we want to do and not have to follow an itinerary anymore.'

Glasgow Kneecap fans label TRNSMT axe 'disgusting' as trio play sold out gig

"It's not like they're saying anything that's wrong, everything they're saying is absolutely correct. People don't like hearing the truth." Fans at Kneecap's Glasgow gig have rallied around the Irish rap group, labelling it "disgusting" that the trio were axed by TRNSMT. The rappers were originally billed to headline the King Tut's stage on Friday at the TRNSMT Festival, however the group, made up of Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara - who is accused of terrorism offences related to a Hezbollah flag he allegedly held up on stage - and DJ Próvaí, were dropped from the line-up at the end of May over Police Scotland safety concerns. ‌ Instead, Kneecap were booked to headline the city's O2 Academy tonight, to not disappoint their fans who hoped to see them perform in the city - with the show selling out in 80 seconds. ‌ The three members of Kneecap arrived at the O2 Academy in Glasgow this evening greeted by pro-Palestinian demonstrators waving flags. The rap group, who perform in English and Irish, have been outspoken critics of the war in Gaza and claim the prosecution is linked to their views on Palestine. Naoise Ó Cairealláin, also known as Móglaí Bap, entered the building wearing a retro-remake version of Celtic's iconic 1996 bumblebee shirt. While being ushered into the venue, he could be seen carrying a leaflet calling for the charges against his bandmate to be dropped and for Prime Minister Keir Starmer to be arrested. A number of fans and demonstrators spoke outside the venue about their support for Kneecap, often declining to give their surnames. ‌ One called Meghan said she and her friend Amy had originally planned to go to TRNSMT before deciding to go to the Kneecap gig instead. She said it was 'disgusting' the band had been dropped from the line-up, adding: 'I think people are just scared for them to express proper problems in the world. They just want to shy away from it whereas Kneecap just come out and say it like it is.' ‌ Pro-Palestinian protester Naomi added: 'We're of the opinion the establishment is so under threat, they're having to look to ridiculous means to try and silence outspoken voices. We applaud Kneecap.' Cat Train, of the group Mothers against Genocide, said: 'They've been cancelled by money, haven't they? They've been cancelled by capitalism. So whoever booked them to play the O2 did absolutely the right thing.' Another fan called Asha, who has been to see the group 11 times, noted: 'It's not like they're saying anything that's wrong, everything they're saying is absolutely correct. ‌ "People don't like hearing the truth.' TRNSMT cancelled Kneecap's performance at the end of May over safety concerns from Police Scotland. ‌ The police force said it has a 'proportionate and considered policing plan ' ahead of the Glasgow gig. In May, Scotland's First Minister John Swinney called for TRNSMT to cancel the performance on July 11, saying that 'organisers of TRNSMT have got to consider that issue'. O hAnnaidh was charged under the name Liam O'Hanna by the Metropolitan Police in May, over the alleged display of a Hezbollah flag at a gig, and appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on June 18. ‌ The furore led to calls from Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch for Glastonbury to cancel a performance from the Belfast rappers on June 28, which the festival organisers did not do. As well as Kneecap's sold-out gig, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar are also performing in Glasgow today. Superintendent Paul Douglas of Police Scotland said: 'We are aware of a number of events and concerts due to take place in the Greater Glasgow area in the week beginning Monday July 7. 'A proportionate and considered policing plan is in place within the city and we are working with a number of stakeholders to ensure the safety of all those attending these events and where possible minimise disruption to the people of Glasgow.' Ozzy Osbourne kisses rock star in touching video after receiving retirement gift

Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne had a very sweet moment with Yungblud while backstage at his epic Villa Park send-off show over the weekend when he presented a gift Ozzy Osbourne was gifted a touching retirement gift while at his last ever show this weekend. The iconic rocker, 76, decided to mark the end of his reign as the Prince of Darkness with one of the biggest farewell shows ever. Many of the world's greatest rock bands headed to Villa Park, Birmingham in an effort to make Ozzy's last performance with Black Sabbath the most memorable ever. One of those was Yungblud, who performed on stage before Ozzy made his appearance. ‌ He took time backstage to meet Ozzy as they shared a tender moment together. Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, presented the rock legend with a very special gift in between sound checks. ‌ He told Ozzy: "I made you something," as he presented Ozzy with a large wooden box. "Obviously you gave me your cross and I wanted to return the favour, so I made you something." Ozzy opened the box and exclaimed: "Oh my god, that is f***ing unbelievable." Yungblud held up his own necklace and revealed he has never taken it off since Ozzy gave him it, and decided to present Ozzy with another necklace "to return the favour". ‌ "That's really good, thank you," Ozzy told Yungblud as he reached over for a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Yungblud told him: "I love you," as Ozzy responded: "Love you." "Thanks Dom, that's so f***ing cool. That's very special. That's great, thank you so much." Yungblud held out his own necklace as Ozzy held them both together in a sweet moment between them. Ozzy told him: "If there is anything we can ever do for you...," as Yungblud responded: "You know what, the f***ing music was enough. Thank you so much honestly, you gave me an outlet. Everyone thought I was too f***ing mad and I was like 'nah man I'm like Ozzy'." ‌ Speaking of the touching moment, Yungblud added: "Back in 2022 on the video shoot for The Funeral, Ozzy gave me his gold cross and said 'I hope this brings you luck'. "I thought, on this monumental moment for him and Sabbath, it was time for me to return the favour and let him know what he and the band means to me" ‌ It wasn't the only surprise for Ozzy backstage on Saturday, as his daughter Kelly Osbourne got engaged to partner Sid Wilson. After the incredible show, the Osbourne family were treated to a beautiful surprise as Kelly's longtime partner Sid proposed in front of her parents Ozzy and Sharon. Taking to Instagram to share the joyful news, Kelly, 40, posted the sweet video of Sid's proposal as he asked to spend the rest of his life with the former reality TV star. Alongside the video, Kelly wrote: "Oh, and this happened yesterday." In the heartwarming clip, Sharon was heard saying: "We've got to be quiet, hold on," as she shushed the crew backstage at show. Kelly's now fiancé told her: "Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world." However, Sid's romantic proposal was swiftly interrupted by a playful Ozzy who shouted: "F*** off! You're not marrying my daughter." Clearly familiar with Ozzy's banter, Sid laughs and continues asking Kelly the all-important question.

Rock frontman addresses ‘deafening booing' at Black Sabbath's and Ozzy Osbourne's final concert

Disturbed's frontman David Draiman has addressed the boos that greeted him as he arrived on stage for Ozzy Osbourne's final-ever performance. Performing with Tom Morello's All Stars supergroup, Draiman, 52, was part of a rock-filled lineup at the Back To The Beginning concert at Villa Park in Birmingham on Saturday, July 5. The celebration was an all-day event that also featured sets by a host of major metal bands, including Metallica, Slayer, and Alice in Chains. When Draiman stepped on stage, he was met with boos from the crowd. Draiman has been a controversial figure for some time due to his support of Israel, notably sparking controversy in 2024 when images were found of him signing artillery shells in Israel, reportedly intended for use by the IDF on Gaza. Addressing the audience's negative reaction to his arrival on stage, the singer called some of the concert-goers 'Jew hating morons' in a lengthy post on social media. On Facebook and Instagram, Draiman said: 'Part of the live stream of my performance at #backtothebeginning, celebrating the legacy of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. 'As you can see…I wasn't 'booed off stage' as so many people in the press and CERTAINLY #FreePalestine crowd, would have you believe. 'Yes, there were a few boos when I walked out, but I came to pay homage to my teachers, my idols, the mighty Black Sabbath, and I wasn't about to let a few Jew hating morons deter that.' He alleged that a false narrative has been spread to try and 'incite hatred' and that the booing was 'enhanced' on some of the recordings of the performances. He added: 'Still coming back to the UK in the fall to what's shaping up to be a VERY successful run, if ticket sales are any indication. And I am STILL UNAPOLOGETICALLY A FIERCELY PRO ISRAEL JEW. 'I will ALWAYS stand up for my people, and I won't be deterred, intimidated, or shamed out of rocking the asses of the masses. Put that in your pipes and smoke it.' This isn't the first time the singer has sparked controversy because of his beliefs. In July 2023, the singer sang Israel's national anthem at a Disturbed concert in Tel Aviv. During the same performance, he also made a statement against Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, who has been accused of antisemitism. 'F**k Roger Waters and all the rest of his BDS [Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions] nazi a**holes — every last single one of them. We don't need that shit. We've survived worse than them and we will continue surviving worse than them.' In 2024, images were released of Draiman signing IDF artillery shells with messages such as 'F**k Hamas.' The move was criticised for endorsing violence and killing in Gaza. Just recently, Draiman called out Bob Vylan's performance at Glastonbury – which is being investigated by the police – and saw the lead singer encourage the crowd to chant 'Death, death to the IDF.' ' I just wanted to speak my mind a little bit about the events of this past weekend,' Draiman said in a video on Instagram. 'No one should ever use any stage at any festival anywhere in the world to incite hatred and violence against anyone. I think it's disgusting. I think it's irresponsible and contrary to the whole reason people get together at these festivals to begin with. He added: 'More importantly, just from a human perspective, what exactly do you really think you're going to achieve here? You know, death to the IDF. Every citizen of the state of Israel has to serve. Every citizen. So you're saying that the majority of world Jews should die, should be killed? 'That's what you're saying. Good luck with that. Iran saw how easy that wasn't so I'm not sure what you want, what you're trying to achieve other than virtue signaling and instant fame that this selling of Jew hatred has seen to gift everyone with these days.'
