Slim Thug weighs in on Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion's romance after $300K gift reveal
Slim Thug has stirred online debate after criticising NBA star Klay Thompson for accepting a $300,000 Audemars Piguet watch from girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion.
The Houston rapper commented, 'I can't have no woman little-boying me,' following a viral clip where Thompson showed off the luxury timepiece, calling Megan 'a sweet lady.'
The unexpected relationship between the Dallas Mavericks guard and the outspoken rapper has made headlines since they went public. Public displays of affection, gift exchanges, and viral videos have become routine, with Megan confirming their growing bond.
Speaking to Page Six at her recent gala, she said, 'I have never dated somebody so kind… he makes me genuinely happy.'
Slim Thug's remarks have drawn attention due to his prior interest in Megan. Back in April, he went live on social media suggesting she had a crush on him.
However, during her Coachella set, Megan made it clear there was no romantic interest, stating, 'And, no, Slim Thug, this don't mean I want you. I just like your music, babe.'
Fans now view Slim Thug's latest comments as a bitter response to being publicly rejected, with many accusing him of taking aim at Klay Thompson out of frustration.

Gilbert Arenas denies role in illegal gambling ring after arrest

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas has broken his silence following his arrest on charges related to an alleged illegal gambling operation in Encino, California. Arenas, 43, was arrested on July 30 and later released on a $50,000 bond. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Arenas danced down a staircase, saying, 'They can't hold me,' and captioned the clip, 'I'm back on the streets 🗣️ This ain't got shyt to do with me. Just rented the house. Wasn't apart.' Im Back on the Streets 🗣️This aint got shyt to do with me ' just rented the house' Wasnt apart — Gilbert Arenas (@NoChillGilZero) July 31, 2025 According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Central California, Arenas and five others are accused of running a high-stakes illegal poker ring out of a rented mansion. The charges include one count of conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business, one count of operating such a business, and one count of making false statements to federal investigators. Arenas pleaded not guilty, and his trial is set for September 23. The indictment also names Yevgeni 'Giora' Gershman, an alleged Israeli organized crime member, who is accused of recruiting young women to serve drinks, offer massages, and provide companionship during the poker games. Organizers reportedly took a cut from the women's tips and the game pots. Arenas' attorney, Jerome Friedberg, urged the public to respect Arenas' presumption of innocence, saying, 'He has the same right as any other citizen.' This isn't Arenas' first controversy involving card games. In 2009, he was suspended from the NBA after a locker room incident involving guns and a gambling dispute with teammate Javaris Crittenton. The case has once again put the former All-Star under legal scrutiny as federal prosecutors prepare for trial.

Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion share fishing date: 'Boat days with bae keep the haters away'

Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion's relationship continues to make waves—this time, on the open sea. The Dallas Mavericks guard shared moments from their fishing date on Instagram, highlighting their playful connection and growing bond. He captioned the post: 'Boat days with Bae keep the haters away". With Megan's song 'Otaku Hot Girl' playing in the background, she joked about being the 'first mate' to Thompson's 'captain' as they cruised the water. Thompson praised Megan multiple times during the trip, calling her 'fine' and proudly stating, 'I got my queen on board, of course I feel cool. I'm the coolest guy in this harbor!' The rapper briefly took the helm of the boat before handing it back to Thompson. Later, while Megan tried fishing, Thompson leapt into the water to spearfish. Their ocean outing follows a series of public appearances, including their red carpet debut at the Pete & Thomas Foundation gala in New York City. The couple went Instagram official earlier this month and have since shared gym sessions and date nights, presenting a united and joyful front.

Can Andy Byron sue Coldplay? What legal experts say about viral kiss cam scandal

A viral Facebook rumor that Andy Byron is suing Coldplay over the now-infamous 'kiss cam' incident is gaining traction — but legal experts say such a lawsuit is unlikely to succeed. On July 22, Page Six consulted attorney Camron Dowlatshahi of MSD Lawyers, who explained that while a defamation claim is theoretically possible, it would require Byron to prove that Coldplay frontman Chris Martin acted with malice and knowingly mischaracterized Byron's relationship with Kristin Cabot. Dowlatshahi described the potential suit as 'frivolous,' citing a lack of evidence and the backlash Byron has already faced. The speculation began with a viral July 26 Facebook post by content creator Maxim Bady, who incorrectly claimed Yahoo News had reported that Byron was preparing legal documents. In truth, Yahoo had only republished articles from other media outlets analyzing the legal possibilities — not reporting any actual legal action. Despite the misleading post, it gained nearly 120,000 reactions and 25,000 comments. In a separate opinion shared with The Mirror US, Rom Zambrano of West Coast Employment Lawyers echoed Dowlatshahi's stance. He stated Byron has "no grounds" to sue, arguing that Coldplay's use of a kiss cam segment is protected artistic expression. Zambrano added that Byron and Cabot, by engaging in public affection at a live event, waived any right to privacy. The original incident occurred during Coldplay's July 16 concert at Gillette Stadium, where Byron and Cabot — both then-executives at Astronomer — were shown embracing on the kiss cam. Since then, both have resigned, and no official statement has been made by Byron or his legal representatives. As of now, there are no credible reports confirming a lawsuit against Coldplay.
