BREAKING NEWS Sirius XM fires Michelle Beadle after on-air rant over Stephen A. Smith taking her job

Daily Mail06-06-2025
Michelle Beadle and Cody Decker have been fired by Sirius XM, a day after Beadle ranted on-air about Stephen A. Smith taking her job this September.
Sirius XM and the Beadle & Decker co-hosts have 'parted ways' as of Thursday night.
Beadle responded to the reports on X to confirm the news, saying: 'And we'd like to thank the callers who made the last couple of days an absolute blast!! Truly. You don't usually get such love on your way out.
'Security usually walks ya to the door. You guys rule. 6 hours of how you felt. And you all were heard!'
Decker, meanwhile, said in a series of tweets: 'Our listeners. My god. Just badasses. Unruly passionate badasses. So who's drinking?'
'All I ask is to be treated with respect,' the blindside host said Wednesday, shortly after learning about the Smith deal.
'Yeah so the cat's out of the bag, I guess we're talking about it,' Beadle told her audience. 'We weren't supposed to, just as a heads up.'
Michelle Beadle gave her Sirius XM audience a window into the chaotic industry Wednesday
Although they knew they were on their way out, Beadle and co-host Cody Decker didn't know they were being replaced by Smith until his interview with Sirius XM's Howard Stern earlier in the day.
'We were only given a few hours' notice, but we weren't told any details, we were promised that no details would be released. We didn't even know who was taking our place in the lineup, just that it was going to be announced that a new show was being added.
'Unbeknownst to us, "The Hollywood Reporter," of course, had all the details,' Beadle continued, referring to an article about Smith's interview with Stern. 'So it was a little embarrassing, I'm not going to lie.
'I've been in this business for 20-plus years, I've been treated poorly a couple times, this didn't feel good, I'm not gonna lie.'
Smith recently signed a five-year, $120 million extension with ESPN, but told Stern he'd add a pair of SiriusXM shows to his already busy schedule beginning in September. One of those gigs will be replacing Beadle & Decker.
Beadle previously had a couple of stints at ESPN, one of which she thought was cut short because she'd angered LeBron James.

Justin Bieber offers a rare glimpse inside his and wife Hailey's $26M Beverly Hills mansion

This week Justin Bieber gave his Instagram followers a peek inside the $26 million Beverly Hills mansion he shares with wife Hailey Bieber. On Friday the 31-year-old pop star shared a brief reel as he joined the 'slide city' internet challenge inspired by a lyric from his hit song Yukon. Justin was dressed in red basketball shorts and a white T-shirt as he slid across his hardwood kitchen floor in a pair of knit socks. While fans have been posting themselves gliding across the floor to his catchy track, off his latest album Swag, his video did not include music. Hailey, 28, made a cameo appearance as she was shown in the background wearing black leggings and a black pullover sweatshirt. The Biebers' abode boasts seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms with heated floors, according to They bought the sprawling residence, which is located in an exclusive guard-gated community, in 2020. Per the real estate outlet, its original listing noted that it is situated 'in the middle of park-like grounds' stretching over 2.5 acres. Justin recently posted photos in the couple's pristine entryway, which is punctuated with a piano. The home also offers a spacious living room, dining room, theater room, and chef's kitchen. Windows throughout permit lots of natural light into the love nest, where they're raising their son Jack Blues, who turns one this month. Outside there is a swimming pool, tennis court, and outdoor rooms featuring a barbecue, pizza oven, and koi pond. Meanwhile, the master suite has dual closets and a sitting area. In addition to their Los Angeles home base, the husband and wife purchased a $16.6 million house in La Quinta in 2023, using it as a vacation home. And their real estate portfolio also includes a property in Ontario, Canada. Justin released his surprise seventh studio album, Swag to great fanfare on July 11. Several songs make mention of his public persona, personal struggles, and his commitment to his wife Hailey and their baby son. There is also a theme of interludes featuring comedian Druski, during which Justin engages in candid 'therapy sessions' with the social media star. Rumors have recently circulated that the music sensation will tour Australia following the album release. Justin has not yet confirmed whether he will be touring, nor has Frontier Touring, who told Rolling Stone it had no information on any potential Australian tour dates. The hitmaker previously cancelled his Justice world tour in 2022 for health reasons.

Rockies rally from nine-run hole, stun Pirates 17-16

August 2 - Brenton Doyle capped a five-run ninth inning with a two-run home run, and the Colorado Rockies rallied after giving up nine runs in the first to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 17-16 on Friday night in Denver. Hunter Goodman also went deep in the ninth, Warming Bernabel had four hits -- including a three-run home run and his first career triple -- and Ezequiel Tovar tied a franchise record with four doubles for Colorado. The Rockies trailed 16-12 entering the ninth but Goodman hit a one-out homer, his 20th of the year, to start the rally against Dennis Santana (3-3). Bernabel tripled to drive in Jordan Beck and then scored on Thairo Estrada's single. Doyle followed with the first walk-off homer of his career and his fourth hit of the game. He sent an 0-1 slider 406 feet to left-center. Dugan Darnell (1-0), who made his major league debut with a scoreless eighth and ninth innings, got the victory for Colorado. For the Pirates, Oneil Cruz hit a grand slam, Andrew McCutchen homered and finished with three hits and five RBIs, Nick Gonzales had four hits and Bryan Reynolds and Isiah Kiner-Falefa finished with three hits apiece. Joey Bart walked four times and was hit by a pitch for the Pirates, who had their five-game winning streak snapped. Pittsburgh built a 9-0 lead in the first on Reynolds' RBI single, Cruz's grand slam and a three-run shot by McCutchen, after Kiner-Falefa's RBI single chased starter Antonio Senzatela. Senzatela allowed seven runs on eight hits and two walks after getting just two outs. The Rockies chipped away, scoring once in the first and closing within 9-4 on Bernabel's three-run homer in the third off starter Andrew Heaney, his third of the season. The Pirates scored three times in the fourth and fifth innings to extend the lead to 15-6, but Colorado answered in its half of the fifth. Doyle walked, Kyle Farmer singled and Mickey Moniak, Tyler Freeman and Tovar followed with doubles off reliever Thomas Harrington to make it 15-10. The Pirates added another run in the sixth when Jimmy Herget hit Bart to drive in McCutchen. Yanquiel Fernandez's two-run homer in the eighth, the first of his career, pulled Colorado within 16-12. --Field Level Media

The 25-year-old, who won Olympic silver in the 100 at the Paris Games, allegedly pushed her male companion who then fell into a nearby column after an argument, according to a police report obtained by USA TODAY Sports. The report said she was detained on the evening of July 27 and released the following day. Reuters has contacted Port of Seattle Police Department, Richardson's agent and US Track & Field for comment. Richardson withdrew from the 100 semi-finals in Eugene, Oregon on Friday after participating in Thursday's heats.
