The Jordan Digital Health Center aims to connect healthcare centres and create an integrated electronic medical records management system through a unified digital platform, to enhance Jordan's healthcare sector in delivering remote care services aligned with international standards. The project is part of ADFD's investment strategy to accelerate sustainable economic development Abu Dhabi, UAE – July 2025: Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Integrated Tourism Complex project in Salalah, Oman, with a total investment of AED764.5 million, underscoring its ongoing commitment to enabling key development projects in the tourism sector. The project aligns with the Fund's broader strategy to foster sustainable growth in partner nations through high-impact projects that promote economic diversification and strengthen tourism infrastructure. Attending the investment's groundbreaking ceremony was attended on the Omani side by His Excellency Azzan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, and the Manager of Dhofar Municipality. Representing Abu Dhabi Fund for Development were Eng. Rashid Al Kaabi, Executive Director of the Investment Sector, and Eng. Mohammed Al Hamedi, Technical and Admin Support Manager. Reinforcing the project's role as one of the most significant UAE investments in Oman's tourism sector. Spanning across a total area of 2.5 million square meters in Jinawf, Oman, the development aims to significantly enhance the city's tourism infrastructure and capacity through the construction of world-class hospitality facilities. The project, valued at AED 27.5 million (approximately USD 7.5 million), underscores the UAE's long-standing commitment to promoting sustainable development in Somaliland. It includes the construction of 300 residential units designed across three housing categories, to accommodate diverse family needs. It also involves the development of critical infrastructure, including potable water systems, sewage and stormwater drainage networks, internal roads, landscaped green spaces, and facilities providing essential services. This transformative project is part of ADFD's broader development efforts aimed at enhancing quality of life and ensuring access to safe and dignified housing. It also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11, which aims to: 'Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable' by 2030. The inauguration ceremony was led by H.E. Mohamed Aw-Ali Abdi, Vice-President of the Republic of Somaliland, with the participation of H.E. Dr. Abdullah AlNaqbi, Director of the UAE Trade Office in Somaliland, alongside senior officials from both governments. H.E.
