Katy Perry's 'real reason' for reuniting with ex Orlando Bloom days after split
Katy Perry surprised fans when she was spotted back with Orlando Bloom on a lavish holiday despite their recent split. The pop star, 40, announced her split from the actor, 48, last week but their latest public appearance left heads scratching.
They were spotted with newlyweds Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez on what appeared to be part of the couple's honeymoon. Katy and Orlando, who said they are now focusing on co-parenting their daughter Daisy Dove, hopped on board Bezos' superyacht in the Mediterranean with their little girl. It came just days after the former couple revealed they had decided to "shift" their relationship to focus on just parenting. Many expected they would want to be apart from each other as they navigate the new chapter.
Instead, Katy and Orlando appeared relaxed and happy as they spent time with the newlyweds in their Honeymoon bliss. Reports have claimed the pair split in early June but still decided to go-ahead with their summer holiday plans in Italy.
Lauren and Jeff joined in the trip as they had lunch together on a yacht off the Amalfi Coast. The recent bride is thought to have flew in for the lunch date from their mega-yacht, which is currently in Croatia.
Katy and Orlando have surrounded themselves with their nearest and dearest as they are thought to also be with the Pirates of the Caribbean star's son Flynn, 14, and his sister Samantha. Orlando's manager is also thought to be on the trip.
The former pair are believed to have already split by the time Orlando headed Down Under to visit Katy with their daughter while she performed on tour. Katy is said to have felt "raw" and was tearful at the time, according to Daily Mail.
However, the pair have been trying their best to get through the split as best as possible. It has been claimed back in May, when the holiday was planned, it was clear things were turning sour.
The Italian trip was considered to be a break-up holiday, according to the publication. Katy, who missed Bezos and Sanchez's extravagant £48 million wedding in Venice while touring in Australia, may have been making up for lost time when she spent time with the couple.
In photos from the lunch date, the Dark Horse singer looked at ease as she enjoyed the Italian coast and watched Orlando play affectionately with their daughter. Orlando, for his part, seemed equally content as he was seen throwing Daisy into the air before catching her and kissing her on the cheek.
Last week, the pair officially called it quits on their nine-year romance - six years after the Pirates of The Caribbean actor popped the question.
In a statement, their respective representatives declared: "Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect."

Whataburger, In-N-Out and Five Guys rival fast food chain launching 40 locations across Florida
Longtime iconic fast food chain Fatburger is launching 40 new Florida-based restaurants over the next 10 years. The chain's parent company FAT Brands Inc. completed a development deal with franchisee Whole Factor Inc. to open the locations, with at least one being in Jacksonville. The franchisee's Fatburger empire in the Sunshine State has been growing since 2021 after it completed a deal to open 14 restaurants in the Orlando and Tampa areas. Restaurants have already opened in Riverview and Celebration, a suburb close to Walt Disney World. Others slated to open through 2026 are in Orlando, Orange Park, and Rockledge. 'Two years ago, Fatburger made its return to the state of Florida after a 20-year absence, and we are not looking back,' said Taylor Wiederhorn, Co-CEO and chief development officer at Fatburger. 'Our Riverview and Celebration locations have exceeded expectations with an incredible fanbase that loves our cooked-to-order burgers, fries, and hand-scooped milkshakes.' Founded in 1947, the California-based restaurant chain operates over 200 restaurants worldwide, and in 16 states across the US. Celebrities such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Nicki Minaj have been Fatburger customers despite Whataburger, In-N-Out and Five Guys' high rankings on a list of the top burger chains in the US. The new deal comes after the chain's parent company suffered a 6.5 percent revenue decline during the first quarter of this year. Other major burger chains are also expanding. Whataburger currently has over 1,100 restaurants nationwide and recently opened its first North Carolina location. Following the chain's recruitment of former McDonald's executive Todd Ewen to serve as its senior vice president, the chain is on track to continue its rapid US expansion. The Texas-based restaurant's sales also jumped 9.4 percent this year, and it's named Lainey Wilson this year's brand ambassador. In-N-Out Burger is currently the nation's top burger chain owned by its founder's granddaughter Lynsi Snyder. The cult favorite chain typically brings in around $2 billion in annual revenue from over 400 restaurants, primarily in the western US. With its popularity on the rise, the chain that was once praised by late food expert Anthony Bourdain is planning to open at least seven restaurants in four states this year. While Fatburger is facing tough competition, some burger chains have shown a potential to crash and burn. Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries sparked fears of mass closures after filing for bankruptcy protection last year. BurgerFi also shuttered restaurants after a bankruptcy filing last September. Jack in the Box is planning to close up to 200 restaurants between 2025 and 2026 to improve its financial performance. However, unlike the others, the chain has shown no signs of exploring bankruptcy possibilities. Burger chain EVOS also abruptly closed all restaurants in April after 31 years and has not revealed the reason behind the shutdown.

Wimbledon diary: Queen visits Royal Box while Fabio Fognini calls it a day
Camilla was joined in the Royal Box by actor Hugh Grant – who appeared to have a bit of a doze at one point – former prime minister John Major and ex-Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Sangakkara Another cricket star, India's Virat Kohli, was in the crowd while women's football boss Emma Hayes took in the action on Court One. Flamboyant Italian Fabio Fognini announced his retirement in the Wimbledon media theatre. The 38-year-old's final match was a memorable first-round five-setter against Carlos Alcaraz on day one. He said: 'That's the best decision, to play in the most beautiful court in the world with a guy that everybody knows. It's the perfect picture that we'll keep forever in my room.' 🗣️ "Ladies and gentlemen, when you open your champagne bottles please do not pop the cork onto the court" 😳 Champagne cork drama at #Wimbledon 🍾 — BBC Sport (@BBCSport) July 9, 2025 Play was momentarily held up in a doubles match for the most Wimbledon reason possible. Lloyd Glasspool and Julian Cash's win over fellow Briton Henry Patten and Finland's Harri Heliovaara was interrupted by a champagne cork landing on the court. A ballkid scurried on to remove the offending object while umpire Miriam Bley issued a polite verbal warning to spectators. Big-serving Ben Shelton had just sent a couple of 139mph aces whizzing past Jannik Sinner when someone in the crowd shouted 'give us 140'. The American obliged, and then some, by booming down a serve clocked at 147mph. Unfortunately, it was out. Hayes swapped the dugout for the players' box as a guest of Shelton. The former Chelsea boss is now in charge of the United States national team, for whom Shelton's girlfriend Trinity Rodman plays. A glass or two of Pimm's is certainly a step up from a plastic cup of Bovril at Stamford Bridge. It's all got a bit too much for Hugh Grant 😴😂#Wimbledon — BBC Sport (@BBCSport) July 9, 2025 'I started some fiction book by Elena Ferrante.
