THE BOYS Creator Teases Season 5 Will Bring the SUPERNATURAL Trio Back Together on Screen — GeekTyrant
In a recent chat with TV Insider, creator Eric Kripke confirmed that the beloved Supernatural trio will appear together in Season 5 of The Boys , which will also serve as the final season of the hit Prime Video series. He said:
'It's a blast. We already shot it. I will confirm that Jared, Jensen, and Misha are all in the same frame together, and in the same storyline, and interacting with each other.'
According to Kripke, the reunion is fully baked into the story and extends beyond just the actors. He explained:
'Having the five of us back together on set, filming, was just so fun and like a high school reunion, and you immediately fall into all your old patterns.
'It was really heartwarming and nice to like immediately be brought back to these guys that I love and haven't had them all together, at least in a professional capacity, in years and years. So it was really, really meaningful.'
Ackles is already a chaotic force in The Boys universe as Soldier Boy, whose return was teased in the post-credits scene of Season 4. The big mystery now is who Padalecki and Collins are playing, and whether they'll be friend or foe.
Kripke has been clear that Season 5 will wrap up the core story he's been building since the series launched in 2019. Back in June 2024, he confirmed the final season was greenlit and designed to be the endpoint all along.
'Lots of death' and 'apocalyptic' stakes have been teased, and Kripke even admitted that the scripts were being updated into early 2025 to reflect real-world events, which is something the show has never shied away from skewering.
While the main series will conclude, The Boys universe isn't slowing down. Gen V Season 2 is on track for a 2025 release, picking up immediately after the events of The Boys Season 4. That means more chaos, more blood, and a follow-up on Homelander's shocking rise to authoritarian rule.
The new season will also address the tragic loss of actor Chance Perdomo, with his character's death written into the story.
On top of that, there's The Boys: Mexico , a Spanish-language spinoff with Blue Beetle 's Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer as showrunner and Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal producing, and possibly appearing. Meanwhile, Vought Rising , a Cold War-era prequel, will spotlight a young Soldier Boy (again played by Ackles) and Stormfront in her original identity as Clara Vought.
There's no official release date for The Boys Season 5 just yet, but 2026 is looking likely. Are you excited for the Supernatural reunion in The Boys ?

Netflix's rebooted ‘Queer Eye' to return for its tenth – and final – season
Cue the waterworks again – the Fab Five are soon leaving us for good. Netflix announced on Wednesday that 'Queer Eye' – the life improvement and makeover show that sees five LGBTQ+ advisors lending their expertise to help guide individuals toward a better and more well-rounded place – is ending after its upcoming tenth season. Antoni Porowski, Jeremiah Brent, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo and Tan France – officially known as the Fab Five – help a guest on each episode in the areas of food, design, grooming, culture and style, respectively. With the exception of Brent, the group has been with the show for the entire 10-season run. (Brent replaced Bobby Berk beginning in Season 9 as the cast's design expert.) Like its predecessor 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,' which ran from 2003 to 2007, the rebooted series has become known for showcasing heartfelt transformations for worthy subjects, often with emotional results. The new series shed the 'Straight' restriction and featured a wide range of heroes receiving help from show. Since it began in 2018, 'Queer Eye' has racked up 11 Primetime Emmy Awards. According to a release from Netflix, the final season will 'celebrate the show's legacy and impact, spotlighting heroes from the nation's capital.' Production on Season 10 began this week in Washington, D.C., which was the site of last month's World Pride festivities.

Americans overwhelmingly choose Fox News Channel for Independence Day week television viewing
Millions of Americans celebrating Independence Day tuned into Fox News Channel as the cable network outdrew broadcast options NBC, CBS and ABC during weekday primetime. Fox News averaged 2.8 million viewers during weekday primetime during the week of June 30 through July 6, compared to 2.4 million for NBC, two million for CBS and 1.9 million for ABC. During the entire week, Fox News averaged 1.6 million total viewers and 225,000 among the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults aged 25-54 to lead all of cable. Fox News also commanded 65% of the primetime and total day cable news audience and aired the top 105 cable news telecasts of the week. "The Five" averaged 3.7 million total viewers and 418,000 in the critical demo to lead cable news in both categories. "Special Report with Bret Baier" averaged 2.8 million viewers, "The Ingraham Angle" averaged 2.8 million viewers and "Hannity" delivered 2.8 million. "Gutfeld!" averaged 3.1 million and "FOX News @ Night" secured 1.6 million viewers to help the network dominate cable news. While Fox News outdrew broadcast networks during primetime, it also outpaced a variety of free TV options during daytime programming. "The Will Cain Show," "America Reports," "Outnumbered," "The Story," "The Faulkner Focus" and "America's Newsroom" outdrew "CBS Mornings," NBC's "Today Third Hour" and ABC's "GMA3." On July 4, as many Americans celebrated with backyard gatherings, barbecue and fireworks, Fox News averaged 2.1 million total viewers and 319,000 among the demo, for a 50% increase year-over-year among total viewers and a staggering 108% increase in the demo. Comparatively, CNN managed only 532,000 total viewers and 139,000 in the demo for double-digit declines in both categories. "The Big Weekend Show" averaged 1.7 million total viewers to lead cable news on Saturday, while "My View with Lara Trump" led the way in the key demo. Maria Bartiromo's "Sunday Morning Futures" averaged 1.6 million viewers to take the Sunday crown. The success around July 4 comes after Fox News crushed cable news competitors and continued to close in on the broadcast competition during the second quarter of 2025. Fox News Channel averaged 1.6 million total daytime viewers to lead all basic cable options during the second quarter, while topping MSNBC's average audience of 596,000 and CNN's 406,000 combined. Fox News has now been No. 1 in all of cable among total daytime viewers for 17 straight quarters. During primetime, Fox News thumped all competitors with an average audience of 2.6 million. TNT finished second with 1.7 million, followed by MSNBC's one million. CNN averaged only 538,000 to finish outside the top five cable networks. It was the sixth straight quarter that saw Fox News finish No. 1 among both total daytime and primetime viewers. Fox News also surpassed ABC and NBC among viewers during the second quarter and topped CBS among both total viewers and the demo for the month of June. Ratings data courtesy of Nielsen Media Research.
