Vehicle fire blocks right lanes on I-75 in Montgomery Co.

Firefighters from the Miami Valley Fire District were dispatched at 2:26 a.m. to reports of a vehicle fire on I-75 SB at Miamisburg Centerville Road, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch sergeant.

ODOT cameras show that the officers and medics have blocked the right lanes of I-75 SB.
Vehicles are using the left shoulder to get around officers and firefighters.
Initial scanner traffic indicated a vehicle was fully involved.

Gas prices $0.45 less per gallon in Georgia than last year, AAA says
The latest gas prices in Georgia remain lower than the year before, and are still going down even compared to the last month. AAA's gas price tracker shows that in Georgia, the state average gas price remained the same, a full five cents lower than in June. Compared to last year, AAA said prices in Georgia were 45 cents less than in 2024. 'Gas prices remain low across the country in many states, providing some relief for drivers; however, with hurricane season in full swing, any significant storms could disrupt supply and lead to higher prices at the pump,' Montrae Waiters, AAA-The Auto Club Group spokeswoman, said in a statement. 'It's a good time for drivers to consider fuel-saving strategies to prepare for potential fluctuations.' Tanker fire under bridge shuts down stretch of I-20 near SC-GA state line
UPDATE: Interstate 20 has reopened as of 5 p.m. Original story June 15, 2025 If you're driving from Georgia to South Carolina this week, a stretch of Interstate 20 will be closed after a massive fire on Saturday. Officials said a tractor-trailer crashed and caught on fire under a bridge in Aiken County at mile marker 13, not far from the South Carolina-Georgia border. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] The South Carolina Department of Transportation said the bridge was 'damaged beyond repair.' Crews with SCDOT worked overnight into Sunday morning to tear down the rest of the bridge. 'With the roadway cleared, crews will begin to mill and repave the damaged sections of I-20, as well as replace the guardrails,' SCDOT wrote in a statement. 'We're working as quickly and safely as possible to reopen the interstate. Thank you for your continued patience and support!' Car crash leads to Buckhead water main break
Crews are currently working to repair a water main break while investigators work to learn more about the car crash that caused it. The Atlanta Department of Watershed Management reported a 16-inch water main break on Peachtree Road near Peachtree Park Drive in Buckhead on Saturday morning. Drivers are being told to exercise caution in the area and consider using alternate routes.
