90s boyband star who abruptly vanished from public life pictured on rare outing
Take That member Jason Orange rose to fame in 1990 when the group was formed, comprising Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Robbie Williams.
Jason was part of the Never Forget hitmaking band for six years and returned when they reunited in 2005, but ultimately bowed out of performing and fame altogether when he quit in 2014.
Now aged 54, the former pop star lives a much quieter life and is rarely seen in public.
New photos capture him looking super chilled while cycling in Primrose Hill.
Jason appeared in good spirits for his solo outing, dressed in casual attire with his hood up to avoid drawing attention to himself.
The Patience singer sported dark grey cargo pants and a zip-up jacket, concealing his eyes with a pair of tinted shades.
No longer performing to crowds of thousands or dancing in ultra-cheesy music videos, Jason has swapped his once hectic lifestyle for a much more normal pace.
At the start of this year, it was reported that the star had entered the property business with Celtic football legend Neil Lennon.
A source told The Sun in January: 'Jason and Neil have known each other for a fair while and played in a charity football game together some years back.'
They continued: 'Neil has a firm, and Jason has come on board.
'Jason prefers to live a quiet life out of the spotlight but has got a real flair for property.'
It's believed Jason sold his first property around that time, with customers praising his 'lovely' and 'professional' manner.
When Jason announced he was leaving Take That, he told their devoted fanbase: 'I want to start by saying how proud I am of what we have achieved together over the years.
'I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That, and I'd like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my bandmates, who I feel are like brothers to me.'
While he referred to his now ex-bandmates as his 'brothers' at the time, Jason rarely speaks to the other members of Take That now.
In 2018, Howard told Loose Women he believes Jason wants to be 'a million miles away' from the life he used to lead, revealing he's not good at responding to calls or emails and is 'off the grid'.
A recent Take That documentary also confirmed that Gary, 54, Mark, 53, and Howard, 54, struggle to get hold of him these days, with Gary specifically admitting it's a surprise.
The Let Me Go hitmaker said there was no real reason for Jason cutting contact, given that a feud wasn't the reason for his exit. He confirmed he only hears from Jason sporadically. More Trending
'It's a tricky one with Jay. I almost think if there had been a big argument, it would be easier, but there wasn't,' he added.
'He just wanted a change in his life. But he does keep an eye on us. And it's nice to know that.'
The award-winning boyband is still going strong now as a trio, having ticked off some incredible bucket list achievements in recent years.
Most recently, they performed a reworked version of their tune Greatest Day at the Baftas after it featured in the Oscar-winning movie Anora.

Robbie Williams releasing the album he wanted to after quitting Take That
Robbie Williams has reflected on his shock departure from Take That ahead of the release of Britpop, his first album of new material in nine years. The Angels singer, 51, joined the chart-topping boy band in the 1990s, alongside Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Jason Orange. Take That had almost unparalleled success and left their mark on the UK charts forever, landing a whopping eight number one singles between 1993 and 1996. But the good times couldn't last, and Robbie sensationally left the group in 1995, devastating their fans so much that the Samaritans opened up a helpline. As a solo artist, Robbie came into his own almost immediately, with his 1997 debut album Life Thru a Lens going straight to number one in the UK albums chart and a cover of George Michael's Freedom becoming a hit. He's now revealed that upcoming studio release Britpop is closer in style to 'the album he wanted to make' upon leaving the group, which he appears to think didn't go far enough. Ahead of the release of his new single Spies, he said: '[With Britpop] I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British music. 'The new record is raw, there are more guitars and it's even more upbeat and anthemic than usual. I'm immensely proud of this as a body of work and I'm excited for fans to hear this album.' The big singles from Life Thru a Lens paid tribute to the Britpop sound, with songs like Let Me Entertain You prioritising rock instrumentation over the pop ballads Take That had become known for. From there, he became one of the most recognisable faces in British pop culture and eventually had his life story turned into musical biopic film Better Man. His success as a solo artist ultimately led him back to Take That, when he briefly rejoined the reformed group for their 2010 album Progress and its subsequent tour. But it appears that despite the fast and successful start to his solo career, Robbie may have wanted things to play out a little differently behind the scenes. The Rock DJ hitmaker only left Take That after being reprimanded for partying with Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel of Oasis, of which Robbie was a huge admirer. While Life Thru a Lens featured Oasis-inspired songs, like Lazy Days and Old Before I Die, the album contained a number of softer songs too – and it seems Robbie wanted things to be louder and heavier than they were. In 2013, Robbie spoke about the album and its tour to BBC Radio 4's Mastertapes series, saying: 'I'm a cabaret artist. For about five minutes in 1997 I wished to be [Radiohead singer] Thom Yorke and Liam Gallagher. More Trending It was ultimately the ballad Angels that became the biggest hit from the album, catapulting Robbie to international fame after its release as a single in late 1997. However, it would take until his second album, I've Been Expecting You, for Robbie to land his first number one, with 1998 single Millennium – the song was co-written by Robbie's frequent collaborator Guy Chambers. While I've Been Expecting You again acknowledged the Britpop sound of Oasis, the album's sound prioritised more pop-oriented instrumentation after the success of Angels. Kasper Schmeichel opens up on his Celtic future as he responds to questions on retirement

But Celtic No 1 Schmeichel insists he's got the same hunger and desire as ever, and blew off any suggestion he's got nothing else to achieve in the game. He said: 'That's not my mindset — I haven't done everything. There's a LOT still to accomplish. 'In all honesty, I never think differently to that. I've never been the type of guy to think in restrictions or limitations. 'At the moment, I'm just loving playing football. I'm living what I always dreamed of doing since I was a kid. 'If I can't enjoy this, then what can I enjoy? 'It's wrong to say I feel privileged to do this job because I sacrificed a lot to get here. 'But a lot of people in the world would do anything to be in the position that I'm in. 'It would be a waste for me not to enjoy it. 'When you get to a certain part of your career, you know that you haven't got forever, so you enjoy it even more. 'As long as I'm enjoying that and as long as that hunger or desire is there, then I'll keep on playing. 'But I'm not the type of person to say that I'm going to do this or going to do that. I take everything as it comes. 'At this stage of my career, nothing's ever guaranteed. It never is at any point, but one injury can end your career at this stage. 'So it's all about being here, contributing, enjoying every single minute. The only way I do that is by being part of a winning team.' Schmeichel is big on driving standards to maintain them. 4 The 114-cap Danish international saw his first action of pre-season on Wednesday night with the first 45 in the Hoops' 2-0 win over Sporting Lisbon. Schmeichel added: 'It was good to beat them because you want to get into the winning habit. 'That's always something we talk about in the dressing room. Getting into that mindset of just being relentless all the time and constantly striving for more, striving for wins. 'It's driven by firstly the manager and the captain. 'When you're at a club like Celtic, you won't be here if your mindset isn't about winning. 'We say it all the time. Anything but a win, that just won't do for us. 'We have to have that mindset. It's something that's talked about every single day. 'Every day, you turn up to training, it's got to be 100 per cent all the time. 'You're not coming in half-days or whatever. You're coming in and you're here to win. 'For me, I've been at a few clubs. That's the most enjoyable environment to be in. Lisbon training camp latest as Hoops close in on sixth summer signing 'The mechanisms of it are obviously quite deep-rooted within the club. That's what's expected of us. 'And anyone who walks in the door of Celtic knows exactly what's expected of them from day one. 'If they don't, they will find out very fast if you're one or two down at home, for example. 'It's deep-rooted within the family of the club. 'It's driven by the manager and people like Callum McGregor and James Forrest, who have been here for a long time. I'm more the type of guy that I'm available if anybody wants to ask questions — but I'll always try and lead by example. 'If you see me in training, if it's a game of head-tennis or whatever, I want to win with everything. If you saw our training, you'd see that. 'The stuff behind closed doors, it's intense and it's all about winning. If you don't win, it's a bad day.' After some extra time off following his end-of-season efforts with his national team, Schmeichel joined up with the squad in Lisbon and started against Sporting on Wednesday. In an ideal world, he'd have had a longer rest. But you won't hear him complaining. He said: 'It's part of the game. It is what modern international football is now. I want to play games and I love playing them. 4 'You're a long-time retired. I wish we'd have gone to the Club World Cup too, just to have that experience as well. 'As a footballer, that's life. We're not going to complain about it. We're here to do a job. 'We're very privileged to have this job. We get time off during the year sometimes. 'We have afternoons off and things like that. So, no, I'm not going to complain.' Schmeichel just can't wait for the season to start properly. Facing newly-promoted Falkirk will be special, given he had a loan spell there when he was just starting out in football. He added: 'It was nice to play against them in the League Cup last year. But it will be special to face them in the Premiership. 'It will be an incredible experience like it was many years ago when I was there. 'It's a great club that gave me an unbelievable opportunity at 18. 'I've got a few Yogi Hughes stories! He's a guy I owe a lot to. 'At that age, to get a chance, I played my first ever game on live TV for Falkirk. 'I played against Celtic, I played against Rangers and all these kinds of teams, and they were big games.
