'Seek immediate shelter': RCMP warns of armed man in the Muskowekwan First Nation area

The RCMP is warning the public of an armed and dangerous man in the Muskowekwan First Nation area, about 140 kilometres northwest of Regina.
Police said 28-year-old Elijah Albert is armed with a rifle and was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and dark backpack, RCMP said in an early Thursday morning alert.
He was last seen heading into the bush around Muskowekwan and could now be travelling by quad or on foot, according to the Amber Alert.
RCMP advises people in the area to seek immediate shelter, remain in a secure location and lock all windows and doors.
People should also refrain from picking up any hitchhikers and report emergencies to 911.

Moncton woman killed in collision in Berry Mills, N.B.: RCMP

One woman has died and two others were injured following a collision near Moncton Friday. New Brunswick RCMP said the two-vehicle collision happened around 9 a.m. on Berry Mills Road in Berry Mills. Police said it is believed the driver of a northbound SUV crossed the centre line and collided with a pickup truck travelling south. The driver of the SUV, a 49-year-old Moncton woman, died at the scene as a result of her injuries. She was the only person in the vehicle at the time. Two people in the pickup truck were taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, said RCMP. Members of Ambulance New Brunswick, the Moncton Fire Department, and an RCMP collision reconstructionist also attended the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
