terror attack
victim Shubham Dwivedi in Kanpur on Sunday and supported the collective appeal for martyr status to all 26 victims.
Singh offered condolence to the family and shared comprehensive details about the parliamentary discussions on 'Operation Sindoor'.
"The families of all 26 victims, including Shubham's relatives, are united in their request for martyr status recognition. We appeal to the Prime Minister to acknowledge their sentiments. Such recognition would demonstrate solidarity between the govt and citizens against terrorism, whilst honouring the deceased," said Singh, adding that the appeal had garnered widespread support.
He said that the matter was extensively deliberated in Parliament, with commitments for continued discussions. "The families also seek govt employment opportunities and compensation for their loss," Singh added.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Singh also led a march with the students of primary school of Laxmanpur village, which was merged with other schools. "Their school was moved 2 kilometres away. According to the new decision, the school distance should not be more than 1 kilometre. Will the school open on Monday? If not, there will be a protest," Singh said.

Congress, 'China guru' Rahul Gandhi hate Indian armed forces: BJP

After the Supreme Court rapped Rahul Gandhi over his alleged derogatory remarks about the Army, the BJP on Monday claimed that the "China guru" and his party hate Indian armed forces and that he is being remote controlled by foreign forces. The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the proceedings against Gandhi before a Lucknow court over his remarks about the Army during his December 2022 Bharat Jodo Yatra. The court, however, censured the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, saying if he is a true Indian, he would not say such a thing. Reacting to the development, BJP IT department head Amit Malviya said in a post on X, "The Supreme Court has once again reprimanded 'China Guru' Rahul Gandhi for making irresponsible statements concerning India's national security and territorial integrity." "Imagine, a leader of the opposition being repeatedly rebuked for speaking such recklessly," he said. Malviya also took on the Congress leader over his recent "dead" economy remark, calling it "a diplomatic disaster on multiple fronts". "His recent 'dead economy' jibe is just the latest in a long series. In doing so, he implicitly admitted that Russia, a long-standing ally, is struggling, while bizarrely endorsing a hostile state like Pakistan as having a robust economy," he said. Echoing US President Donald Trump's criticism of the Indian economy, Gandhi said on August 1 that everybody except Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman know that the country's economy is "dead". Referring to Gandhi's remarks on the surgical strike and Operation Sindoor, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla alleged that the Congress leader and his party "hate" Indian armed forces. "Sena ka Apman Congress ki pehchan (Insulting the Congress is the hallmark of the Congress)," he said in a post on X. "Rahul and Congress hate Indian Armed Forces," he charged, adding, "Today SC has slammed him." Another BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said on X that the Supreme Court's poser to Gandhi about his claim exposed him. He said, "Supreme Court asks Rahul Gandhi - 'How did you know that China had occupied land?'" This question by the Supreme Court has not only "exposed" Gandhi, but further got the attention back on the "secret MoU that Gandhi-Vadra family had with China", he said.

Lok Sabha adjourned for the day as Opposition protests over Bihar SIR continue

The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day on Monday (August 4, 2025) due to continuous noisy protests by opposition parties demanding a discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. Ahead of the adjournment, the Chair reminded the Opposition members that since the Monsoon session began, not even a single Bill has been passed by the House due to repeated disruptions. Parliament Monsoon session Day 11 LIVE When the House met at 2 p.m., Opposition MPs, including those from the Congress, were on their feet, raising slogans and holding placards. The Opposition has been demanding a discussion on the SIR exercise initiated by the Election Commission in Bihar ahead of the state polls due later this year. Jagdambika Pal, who was chairing the proceedings, said two key sports bills were listed for discussion on Monday (August 4, 2025) and the House will not be doing justice with the players if the bills are not debated and passed. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya echoed similar views. Mr. Pal also told members that Speaker Om Birla has directed police to take strong action, in an apparent reference to Congress MP R Sudha's gold chain being snatched in Delhi. Amid continued din, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary moved a statutory resolution on customs duty, which was passed by a voice vote. A peeved Mr. Pal reminded the Opposition members that since the Monsoon session began on July 21, not even a single Bill has been passed by the House due to repeated disruptions. This is the third week when the House proceedings have been disrupted by sloganeering by opposition members, he said before adjourning the House for the day. Earlier in the day, Mr. Birla said he has been trying every day to run the House smoothly, but protesting members are systematically disrupting proceedings of the House. "You have been elected by lakhs of people to represent their hopes and aspirations and raise their issues. But you are not interested in allowing the House to function smoothly. You are lowering the dignity of the House by systematically obstructing the proceedings and by showing placards," he added. Mr. Birla said if the members have any issue, they should come to him for discussion, but should allow Question Hour to function smoothly as many important issues are raised during the time and the government replies to them. "I will give each of you enough time to raise your issues like I did in the past, but please allow the House to run," he said. However, the opposition ignored the speaker's pleas, forcing him to adjourn the House till 2 p.m. Barring discussions on Operation Sindoor in both Houses, Parliament has seen little business since the Monsoon session began on July 21 due to repeated adjournments. This was initially due to the opposition demanding a discussion on Operation Sindoor and then the SIR in Bihar.

Pak rebuilds 15 terror camps in 90 days after Op Sindoor, Intel warning issued

While Indian forces continue to mount aggressive counter-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan's support for cross-border terrorism shows no signs of abating. Fresh intelligence inputs have revealed that Pakistan is actively aiding major terror outfits in rebuilding infrastructure destroyed during India's recent Operation the last 90 days alone, more than 15 terror camps and launchpads have reportedly come up across Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Intelligence sources say these camps are being rebuilt with the help of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and other government agencies, which are not only sympathetic to the terrorists killed in Indian strikes but are now fully backing efforts to revive their hard by Indian forces, these terrorists are now utilising new methods and advanced technologies to evade surveillance and bolster militant capabilities. The camps are being reconstructed in key locations, including Kel, Shardi, Dudhniyal, Athmuqam, Jura, Lipa Valley, Tandapani, Nayyali, Jankot, and Chakothi. Additionally, four launchpads along the International Border in the Jammu region along Masroor, Chaprar, and a drone center at Shakargarh are also being reactivated, according to reports. This time, Pakistan-based terrorists are spreading in a wider area and avoiding concentration to evade detection by Indian forces. As India has been maintaining that Operation Sindoor is on, these terrorists fear more strikes from the forces. In order to avoid mass casualties, the terrorists are now building smaller camps accommodating approximately two dozen terrorists in a camp. The number earlier used to be five times higher in a single camp. The movement pattern of these terrorists is also changed according to sources. They are now including more women and children in their camps to use them as shields. The training is more technologically advanced with use of drones and surveillance equipment. These camps are located in densely forested areas and are reportedly equipped with radar camouflage, satellite masking, and other advanced tools. According to intelligence assessments, the ISI has allocated over PKR 100 crore to support this rebuild. Post-Operation Sindoor, top commanders from Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), The Resistance Front (TRF), and senior ISI officials have held multiple strategy meetings to chart out new terrorists are restructuring their operational leadership, procuring new weapons, and trying to resume recruitment efforts both in Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir. There has been a significant drop in new terrorist recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir amid intense counter terror operations by the forces. - Ends
