Speaking at the constituency-level meeting held here on Sunday, Botcha blamed that Chandrababu Naidu has repeatedly deceived public by not implementing even a single promise from the party's election manifesto.
'As the main opposition, it is now our responsibility to go to the people and fight to ensure that those promises are fulfilled,' he added. He questioned the government for not implementing 'Super Six' welfare programmes, asking, 'Isn't it cheating the public?' He demanded clarity on the status of promises like free bus travel for women, Rs 15,000 assistance to women, and ₹3,000 unemployment dole.
He further criticised both Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for issuing sworn affidavits during the elections, only to betray the trust of the public. 'That is why we must take this campaign to the people under the slogan 'Babu Surety – Betrayal Guarantee,'' he said.
Botcha urged YSRCP cadre to organise awareness meetings in every village and ward to expose the failures of the coalition government.
District YSRCP president Majji Srinivasa Rao said that YSRCP cadre should put untired efforts to fight with TDP and work for the public. He advised them to don't scare of false cases imposing by the TDP leaders.

TDP, whose 16 MPs provide crucial support to BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, has sought clarity on the "scope of SIR" and wants it to be completely delinked from the citizenship question. "The purpose of SIR must be clearly defined and limited to electoral roll correction and inclusion. It should be explicitly communicated that the exercise is not related to citizenship verification, and any field instructions must reflect this distinction," reads the TDP representation. It said adequate time should be given for such an exercise and it should take place "ideally not within six months of any major election". This is contrary to what is underway in Bihar, where a new assembly will be in place by November-end and SIR is underway with elections just three months documentation, TDP stated, "Voters who are already enrolled in the most recent certified electoral roll should not be required to re-establish their eligibility unless specific and verifiable reasons are recorded." TDP has sought to make a distinction between intensive roll revision and electoral roll revision and suggested that the last electoral roll revision be made the base year. This means that for Bihar it should be the electoral roll revision of January 2025 which should be the base year, not 2003. It cited a Supreme Court judgement in Lal Babu Hussein vs Electoral Registration Officer to say "prior inclusion created a presumption of validity and any deletion must be preceded by a valid inquiry."In the Bihar SIR, the ECI sought proof and asked voters to fill a form to ensure inclusion. However, TDP representation said: "The burden of proof lies with ERO or objector, not the voter, especially when the name exists on the official roll".

TDP suggests third-party audits of electoral rolls under CAG
Amaravati; The TDP has suggested strengthening electoral roll verification by conducting annual third-party audits under the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, to identify anomalies. It also urged ECI to start the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Andhra early and advocated that deletion of any voter must be based on a reasoned order, proper notice, and an opportunity to respond. It also called for using Al-driven tools to flag duplication, migration, and deceased entries in real time. TDP, a partner in the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, made the suggestions in order to strengthen electoral roll management and enhance transparency in the electoral process. TDP Parliamentary Party leader, Lavu Krishna Devarayalu, submitted a letter to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Delhi. The TDP also urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to ensure a time-bound grievance redressal mechanism at the Block-Level Officer (BLO) and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) level to promptly rectify wrongful exclusions. It suggested standardising door numbers nationwide as a policy measure to strengthen electoral roll verification. The TDP favoured rectification of duplicate Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) numbers with the help of Aadhaar. "Expedite the issuance of unique, non-repeating EPIC numbers nationwide. Allow Aadhaar-based cross-verification with robust data privacy protections. Replace the ink-based verification process with a biometric verification process," reads the letter. Political party participation should mandatorily involve Booth Level Agents (BLAs) from all recognised parties throughout the revision process, the TDP said. It suggested pre-publication and sharing of draft rolls with BLAs compulsorily to enable real-time verification. It also called for publishing district-wise data on voter additions and deletions with explanations on the ECI portal. "Implement a real-time public dashboard for tracking voter grievances and their resolution," the TDP said, while seeking statutory timelines and penalties for inaction or misconduct by EROs/DEOs (District Election Officers). The TDP urged the poll panel to empower State Election Watch Committees to function with observer status during roll revision. It mooted rotation of BLOs and EROs to prevent local influence or partisan misuse. It also wanted appointment of a state-level Ombudsman under the ECI to handle unresolved political grievances related to the electoral rolls. Conduct targeted re-enrollment campaigns for migrant workers, tribal groups, elderly, and homeless citizens. Permit temporary address declarations with basic documentation to avoid disenfranchisement of mobile populations, it said. As Andhra Pradesh is not due for Assembly elections until 2029, the TDP recognises that any future SIR provides a valuable opportunity to ensure that the electoral rolls are updated in a fair, inclusive, and transparent manner. It urged the ECI to start the process in the state as early as possible. "To ensure voter confidence and administrative preparedness, the SIR process should be conducted with sufficient lead time, ideally not within six months of any major election. Voters who are already enrolled in the most recent certified electoral roll should not be required to re-establish their eligibility unless specific and verifiable reasons are recorded," it said. The burden of proof lies with the ERO or objector, not the voter, especially when the name exists in the official roll. The purpose of SIR must be clearly defined and limited to electoral roll correction and inclusion, the TDP said. "It should be explicitly communicated that the exercise is not related to citizenship verification, and any field instructions must reflect this distinction," it said. Stating that Andhra Pradesh has high levels of seasonal migration, particularly from rural and coastal regions, it said SIRs should deploy mobile BLO units and accept temporary address declarations to prevent exclusion of migrant workers and displaced families. "We request the Commission to issue clear procedural guidance stating that deletion of any voter must be based on a reasoned order, proper notice, and an opportunity to respond. Where voters are unable to submit documents at the time of visit, stage-wise verification should be permitted, instead of immediate exclusion," it added.

Stakeholders want State as a unit, not district, for implementation of free bus ride for women in Andhra Pradesh
As the Government of Andhra Pradesh prepares to launch another Super Six scheme of free bus travel for women in the State on August 15, deliberations are in progress over the exact mode of implementation. While Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has indicated that the district will be considered as a unit for implementing the scheme, key stakeholders, including officials of the A.P. State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), have expressed concern over the feasibility of the model. According to sources in the Transport Department, implementation of the scheme at the district level may lead to operational difficulties, besides complications in route monitoring and enforcement of eligibility across inter-district services. A more unified State-wide implementation, the officials feel, will ensure smoother coordination and reduce the risk of misuse, or logistical bottlenecks. 'Restriction on travel within districts will lead to confusion for women who need to travel across district borders. A uniform policy at the State level will be more inclusive and manageable,' says a senior APSRTC official. 'A final call on the issue will be taken after the Chief Minister returns from Delhi,' says Transport Minister M. Ramprasad Reddy. Speaking to The Hindu, Mr. Ramprasad Reddy said the government was in the process of procuring 2,000 new buses to augment the existing fleet and support the anticipated surge in passengers once the scheme was launched. 'While the buses may not arrive in time for the rollout, they will be inducted into the fleet in a phased manner,' the Minister said. Currently, women commuters comprise 35% of the Occupancy Ratio (OR) in the APSRTC buses as against 65% men. 'After rolling out the scheme, the number of women passengers may rise to 65% of the OR,' said the Minister. From a financial standpoint, the Minister said it would be an annual expenditure of ₹2,000 crore, which was significantly lower than other schemes under the government's Super Six promises. Mr. Ramprasad Reddy said the new buses would be operated under the Gross Cost Contract (GCC) model, a framework where private operators supply and maintain buses, while the APSRTC would manage operations and collect revenue. Union fears loss of jobs However, the GCC model is being opposed by the A.P. Public Transport Department Employees' Unions, whihc fear losing jobs in the future. They have been insisting that the APSRTC operate and maintain the new buses proposed to be included in the fleet. 'Already, 25% of the buses in the fleet are being operated by private firms. This is a growing concern among the workers in the public transport organisation,' said union State president P. Damodar Rao. He said the existing 11,500 buses in the fleet and 46,000 staff were needed to be augmented before the launch of the scheme. 'The corporation already relies on over 5,000 on-call drivers for its day-to-day operations,' he said, indicating the extent of staff crunch.
