How Russell Wilson really feels about infamous Mr. Unlimited video
During a Thursday morning appearance on WFAN, new Giants quarterback Russell Wilson made it clear he has no regrets about publicly introducing his alter ego in a 2018 social media video that has since been the subject of fan ridicule.

'I would still do it, man,' Wilson told Gregg Giannotti from Giants training camp in East Rutherford, N.J.
'I got kids saying, 'Unliiiiimited.''
For those needing a brief refresher, Wilson, 36, brought Mr. Unlimited into NFL lore when he was still with the Seahawks.
At the time, the Super Bowl champion shared a 60-second clip on X with the caption, 'When they ask u somethin' … tell 'em ur ….. #UNLIMITED.'

'Hey guys, Russell here, yes, the typical boring, yes, Russell, robot Russell, the one you guys love to know, real, real exciting… Everybody has to have an alter ego, and I've been thinking about why my alter ego would be, and I think I have an alter ego, his name, his name is Mr. Unliiiimited,' Russell said in the May 2018 clip.

'You gotta be unliiiiimited, you gotta have a thought process of being unliiiiimited. So when people ask you what you're thinking about or what you want to do in life or where you want to go, you got to be unliiiiimited. Tell them, 'I'm unliiiiimited.''
It's been a rollercoaster few years for Mr. Unlimited.
Wilson was traded to the Broncos in a 2022 blockbuster that famously flamed out two years later before linking up with the Steelers for the 2024 season.

Before closing out the segment, Giannotti orchestrated a joint 'unliiiiimited' chant with co-host Boomer Esiason and Wilson, with whom he left a parting plea.
'Get some wins, make our job easier, please. Score some touchdowns, we need some touchdowns,' he said.
The Giants, coming off a woeful 3-14 season, open their 2025 campaign on the road against Washington on Sept. 7.

Ravens to hold RB Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson out of preseason opener vs. Colts
Following a spirited joint practice on Tuesday, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh confirmed that Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry will sit out the preseason opener vs. the Colts The Ravens have Super Bowl aspirations, and the biggest reason for that optimism is Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. Both players participated in Tuesday's joint practice, and following that session, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed that they'd sit out the preseason opener. With Jackson out, Cooper Rush and, importantly, Devin Leary will see the bulk of the action at the quarterback position. At running back, Keaton Mitchell, Rasheen Ali, and D'Ernest Johnson could see most of the action with Henry out, and Justice Hill likely to join him. Baltimore could take a similar approach at wide receiver, tight end, and offensive line.

Patrick Mahomes: "There's stuff we've got to get better at"
The last time the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl, they made it back to the AFC Championship. And then, the next year, they won the first of two more Super Bowls. Now, they've lost another Super Bowl. What's next for the team that has gone to five of the last six Super Bowls? 'There's stuff we've got to get better at,' Mahomes told Jarrett Bell of USA Today. 'Especially myself. There's plays on the football field that I didn't make last year, that I've made in previous years. At the end of the day, I'm going to do whatever it takes to win, whether that's passing for a lot of yards, not passing for a lot of yards. But I think if I play better, that's going to make it better for the team. So, I've got to be better at executing whenever the shots are there, making those throws. Because that's going to alleviate pressure on our defense and make them play more free and make the team play more free.' So what does the sting of a loss do to Mahomes's approach to the job? 'It just gives you a little extra in some of the workouts and those film sessions, to try to find the little things to get even better,' Mahomes said. 'You try to do that when you have success, but at the same time when you have success you can sometimes be complacent. Obviously, you don't want to lose the game, but it can give you a little bit more motivation to be even better.' There's another potential source of motivation. The Broncos and Chargers are on their heels. Some (including Chris Simms on Tuesday's PFT Live) have predicted the Chiefs will yield the AFC West title to the Denver Broncos. It could end up being a crossroads season for the Chiefs and Mahomes, in his ninth NFL campaign and the year he'll turn 30. His worst finish as a starter is losing in overtime of the AFC Championship. His best is three Super Bowl wins in seven seasons.

Jaxson Dart is QB3 on Giants' first depth chart
Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has work to go to become the starter. Supposedly. The 25th pick in the 2025 draft lands at third on the team's initial depth chart of 2025, behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Rounding out the quarterback room is Tommy DeVito, at fourth string. Per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, the actual practices have had Dart taking reps after Wilson and before Winston. The move could be an effort to show that Dart will earn his spot by overcoming obstacles, eventually moving past Winston before leapfrogging Wilson. Alternatively (or perhaps additionally), the positioning could be aimed at showcasing Winston, who could be the odd man out when it's time to trim the depth chart from four to three. Before releasing Winston, it would make sense to try to trade him. DeVito is destined to be cut and, if he clears waivers, to sign with the practice squad. The bigger question is whether the Giants keep Winston on the 53-man roster, to go along with Wilson and Dart. The biggest question is when will Dart play? In 2004, Kurt Warner was benched despite a 5-4 record because the Giants were ready to flip the switch to Eli Manning.
