In the newest release of Honkai: Star Rail version 3.2, all attention turns to the wonderful 5-star Wind character of the Erudition path, Anaxa. An AOE damage dealer in his own right, Anaxa is striking the scene with classy animations, fast attacks, and an astounding kit made for crowd control. Still, aiming for the first Eidolon (E1) of Anaxa could be one of the smartest moves to make for an elevation of gameplay, especially in end-game challenges.
What makes Anaxa's E1 so special?
Anaxa's E1 brings two advantages. It heals when a skill is used for the first time in the raid, and it also reduces enemy DEF upon being struck. While these enhancements may seem uncomplicated on paper, in actual application, they can radically change the tide of battle, especially in Memory of Chaos.
MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED! | Anaxa Guide - Best Relics, Lightcones & Teams | Honkai: Star Rail
In many of the hardest encounters in Honkai: Star Rail, the SP economy is a great determinant. If a DPS refunds an SP on Skill use, the benefits are enormous, for the freedom of normal rotation is gained, saving other precious SP for teammates or ensuring full aggression without interruptions.
Anaxa's E1 shines in this regard, where SP can frequently become a constraining resource in any dual-DPS setup.
Anaxa's E1 also bestows a DEF shred effect to his attacks, rendering enemies more vulnerable to damage. This effect complements his Erudition perfectly, allowing multi-target attacks to enhance the team's overall damage, not just his.
While his signature Light Cone Life Should Be Cast to Flames has a similar DEF-lowering effect, it cannot restore SP, thus making E1 a more strategic investment for the long haul.
Light Cone or Eidolon?
Several players will wonder if they should prioritize 5-star Light Cone Anaxa over his E1. Although Life Should Be Cast to Flames offers a bonus Ultimate Energy amount and an incredible damage boost, in most cases it probably will not be best-in-class for every team build — especially dual DPS teams. The problem is that this Light Cone's utility will be heavily dependent on Anaxa's uptime and role, while E1 promises a consistent utility whatever the formation. Other budget options include Before Dawn or Today Is Another Peaceful Day as alternative Light Cones. Hence, for F2P or low-spending users who want to get the most for their penny without the need of chasing every item in the banners, E1 stands out as far more valuable in the long run.
Anaxa Is The Most Versatile Erudition Unit! |Best Anaxa Guide, Build & Showcase! - Honkai Star Rail
If you are interested to pull Anaxa on version 3.2, you can take one more step and get his E1. Anaxa's E1 definitely has some of the strongest quality-of-life improvements, thanks to SP regeneration and DEF shred, making him feel more breezy, stronger, and team-friendly. Given the constant changes happening within Honkai: Star Rail's late-game content, this pretty much creates the cut between success and failure.

Honkai Star Rail 3.5 update leak reveals how many Stellar Jades and pulls F2P players can get this patch
Honkai Star Rail 3.5 is just around the corner, and thanks to a new leak, we now have a pretty solid idea of how many Stellar Jades players can expect. Shared by reliable dataminer @nivskis on X (formerly Twitter), the breakdown includes Jades from both regular and limited-time sources across the patch. Whether you're a free-to-play Trailblazer or someone with a few passes active, this estimate gives a clear idea of how many banner pulls you might save up by the end of the version. As always, take leaks with a pinch of salt but this one looks very believable based on past patterns. Free-to-play players can expect around 88 pulls According to the leaked numbers, F2P players will be able to collect roughly 11,790 Stellar Jades, 15 Special Passes, and 17 Star Rail Passes in version 3.5. That adds up to around 88 limited banner pulls, which is solid for anyone saving up for future characters. Stellar Jade count for version 3.5en/CN versionthere will probably be changes#hsr #HonkaiStarRail The Jade count comes from multiple in-game activities like Daily Training, Simulated Universe, Trailblaze Missions, special events like Chrysos Grand Restaurant and Old Brews & New Friends, as well as limited-time events like MoC and Pure Fiction. Paid pass holders will get even more pulls If you're running both the Express Supply Pass and premium Nameless Honor, your total rewards jump to about 16,250 Stellar Jades, 19 Special Passes, and 17 Star Rail Passes. That translates to more than 110 pulls if used wisely. This leaked breakdown matches how HoYoverse usually distributes currency per patch, especially across its 42-day cycle. It's a handy guide for anyone planning to save up or calculate pity ahead of 3.5's character banners. Whether you're fully F2P or grabbing the occasional pass, Honkai Star Rail 3.5 looks generous in terms of Stellar Jade distribution. These leaks are especially useful for budgeting your pulls or planning ahead for future limited characters. Fingers crossed the official numbers hold up!

Genshin Impact Varka's character profile, current location, weapons and more
Image via: HoYoverse With every new update, the world of Genshin Impact increases in scale, and there has been a great deal of anticipation regarding Varka, the Grand Master. Sprinkled between lore and events and official trailers, Varka's reputation proceeds ahead of him. Here is all that is currently known about this immense figure from Mondstadt, from story involvement to potential weapon and release window. The Legend of Varka: The Grand Master of Mondstadt Varka is not just another NPC mentioned once in lore-the Grand Master and Knight bores of the Knights of Favonius. While Varka happens to be a Knight of the highest cadre and the Grand Master of the order, he has perhaps never stepped foot in-game. Varka had left Mondstadt on a great expedition approximately half a year before the current timeline; hence Jean has been given the title of Acting Grand Master, taking care of the affairs of the city. Not much is known about his exact objective, but recent developments give us some clues about one possibility that Varka is presently in Nod-Krai, a mysterious yet-to-be-released region, following the leads concerning Durin and the Hexenzirkel. Varka is said to lead with courage but unorthodoxly, one who earns loyalty not by title but by action. Varka, Alice and All Nod Krai Characters Revealed: Song of the Welkin Moon Teaser | Genshin Impact Appearance and Personality: A Fearsome Leader According to Razor's character stories and in-game references, Varka is extremely tall, with messy blonde hair and blue eyes. Two particular factors that make him unmistakable are his facial scars, one extremely conspicuous mark on his neck and another on the right side of his face. His character dress exudes the very essence of status and much battlefield experience: a black and teal coat lined with white fur, a black breastplate bearing the Favonius crest, and an Anemo Vision which is attached visibly to his coat. Varka, in all of his aura, looks regal but also battle worn, befitting his stature. Varka is also fondly remembered by Razor, implying some kindness behind his stern exterior. Several characters have been deeply affected by his mentorship, which means that he is more than a mere warrior - he is a figure who inspires others in Mondstadt. Varka - Every Voice line About HIM!! | ft. Childe, Jean, Eula, Diluc, Kaeya and MORE~ Genshin Impact Weapon and Element: Wind and Steel The Moonlit Ballad of the Night teaser gave some pretty big clues about how Varka fights. Shown with the iconic Wolf's Gravestone hints strongly that he will be a Claymore user. His Anemo Vision, which can be seen attached to his coat in the teaser, confirms his element as Anemo; theoretically, he can be the very first Anemo Claymore in the game. Where is Varka Now? Nowadays, Varka's whereabouts are supposed to be in Nod-Krai, an enigmatic location that is expected to be introduced in Version 6.0 or higher. Increasingly, the lore hints that he was involved in organizing a Tripartite Conference with Hexenzirkel, a powerful witch circle associated with characters such as Alice and Mona. Since Durin's proxies are now repulsed, with more risk coming onto play-ups, the expedition of Varka is becoming more than just a mere scouting one, this might really be the turning point in the core narrative. Anticipated Release There is no official release date as of now, but there are rumors all over of him being playable from Version 6.0 onwards, maybe even being tied to Nod-Krai becoming available and other important characters from lore. Because of his tremendous presence and unique potential for kits and narrative value, Varka will easily be one of the most impactful entries in Genshin Impact. Genshin is PEAKING: Durin, Alice, Nicole, Varka, KIT CRUMBS & REVEAL - The Greatest Genshin Trailer Varka is more than a name mentioned on the walls in the background; he is a symbol of leadership, lore, and an air of mystery shrouding Mondstadt's past and future. As HoYoverse opens new chapters, his arrival is bound to cause a stir, not only in terms of characters but in the very foundation.
