PIB attached a link to the briefing by the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. Dan Caine as proof.
'During the Press Briefing Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. Dan Caine (@thejointstaff) explained the route used by US aircrafts,' it said.
According to the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen Dan Caine, on midnight Friday into Saturday morning, the B-2 strike package, comprising of bombers, 'proceeded to the west and into the Pacific as a decoy'.
However, 'the main strike package comprised of seven B-2 Spirit bombers, each with two crew members, proceeded quietly to the east with minimal communications.'
