Domino's lays on 60-litre keg of dip at Irish wedding for pizza-obsessed couple
Brits Olivia, 32, and Clarke, 36, had the pizza chain on their third date where they fell in love while sharing a Veggie Supreme and Pepperoni Passion with stuffed crust. They've been together for five years and order the same dishes every year for their anniversary meal.
So it came as no surprise when the pizza-loving pair decided to incorporate their favourite slice during their wedding at Tullyveery House in Northern Ireland on June 14.
Olivia, who hails from south London, reached out to a local Domino's branch and the team delivered big time - with tons of large pizzas for their guests. Domino's even threw in a complimentary 60-litre keg of the couple's favourite dip: Garlic & Herb.
One of Olivia's bridesmaids, Nic, shared a video of the pizza-filled wedding on TikTok, where it has left viewers stunned - and just a little bit hungry.
"We ordered Domino's on our third date - a Veggie Supreme with extra sweetcorn, pineapple and a BBQ base, and a Pepperoni Passion with stuffed crust - and it quickly became our thing," said Olivia.
"We have ordered the same thing on our anniversary every year since and we've been together for five years now.
"I contacted the Domino's Downpatrick store, in the hope they could step in, and they completely delivered - in every sense.
"They sent us the giant Garlic and Herb dip keg to conquer those late-night cravings, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made!"
The wedding guests were left blown away. Bridesmaid Nic said: "This is hilarious.
"We knew they would have some fun and quirky touches in their wedding but we could never have imagined this!"
The sauce was displayed by the dance floor so that guests could dip their slices while busting a move.
Clarke, who is from County Down, said: "Everyone has been absolutely loving it - we can't stop laughing at the TikTok comments.
"Huge thanks to Domino's for once again being a part of our love story and making our wedding one to remember!"
The viral clip has racked up over 533k views and 22K likes.
Gareth said: "That is absolutely awesome take it my invite was lost in the mail."
Emily added: "I want this but like for my house lol."
Lilly asked: "How do I get this?" While another person commented: "My kind of wedding."
Domino's official TikTok account added: "Thanks for the invite."
According to Hitched, the average UK wedding now tops £20,000 (approximately €24,000 - according to One Fab Day, the average Irish wedding costs €36,000) and many couples are looking for ways to get the most bang for their buck.
Late-night snacks have become a must-have with 'stomach-lining' snacks such as fries, fried chicken, cheese toasties and sliders.
"It's no surprise that Domino's Downpatrick stepped in to save the day for the happy couple," said Domino's spokesperson, Izzy Gardener.
"Our famous Garlic & Herb Dip has been a staple at celebrations big and small, but this might be the biggest effort yet - talk about dipping your big day in joy!"
