Best Buy's improved Samsung Galaxy A35 5G clearance deal will not be ignored... if you hurry
$140 off (35%) Unlocked, 128GB Storage, 6GB RAM, 6.6-Inch Super AMOLED Display with 2340 x 1080 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, Exynos 1380 Processor, 50 + 8 + 5MP Triple Rear-Facing Camera, 13MP Front-Facing Shooter, 5,000mAh Battery with 25W Charging Capabilities, Awesome Lilac Color This offer is not available in your area.
That's right, you can now pay as little as $259.99 instead of $399.99 for an undeniably eye-catching 6.6-inch handset with a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate-capable Super AMOLED screen in tow and an "Awesome Lilac" paint job. The "Awesome Navy" color option, in case you're wondering, is marked down by a humble 40 bucks to $359.99 as part of the same Best Buy clearance sale, so it's not really worth considering for a cash-strapped Samsung fan or Android enthusiasts in general right now.
The Galaxy A35 5G, mind you, is all out of stock at the time of this writing at both Amazon and its manufacturer's own official US website, which almost certainly means that you don't have a lot of time to take advantage of this improved Best Buy deal. It's perhaps needless to say that you don't have to meet any special requirements to keep your spending to a minimum here, and you probably already know that Samsung (and its official US retail partners) are selling a Galaxy A36 5G model at an unchanged regular price of $399.99. That one recently dropped to $299.99 for Amazon Prime members only, but naturally, there's no way to know when you'll be able to save $100 again. As such, you might not want to waste the opportunity to save 140 bucks on a device that's almost as good, earning high praise in our Galaxy A35 5G review last year for everything from its camera performance to battery life, screen quality, sound quality, and of course, software support. Simply put, this is still one of the best budget 5G phones around, especially at this lower-than-ever price of $259.99. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!

Samsung Galaxy A17 leaked promo materials reveal a chipset twist
A few days ago, renders purportedly depicting Samsung's upcoming Galaxy A17 got leaked, and earlier today we saw it in both 5G and 4G iterations listed by a European retailer, with pricing revealed. Now, even more details about the A17 have been outed, along with new official-looking renders and a ton of promo materials. According to these, the A17 5G will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 1330 SoC, not the 1380 as previously rumored. Samsung Galaxy A17 5G newly leaked renders The phone will come with 128GB of storage and 4/6/8GB of RAM, and one 256GB option with 8GB of RAM. MicroSD cards up to 2TB will be supported. The handset measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 192g. It has a 6.7-inch 1080x2340 Super AMOLED screen with a waterdrop notch, 90 Hz refresh rate, 1,100-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus on top, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 5 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro), a 13 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging (zero to 50% advertised to take 30 minutes). Color options will be blue, black, and gray. It's IP54 certified for dust and splash resistance, and comes with a promise of 6 major Android updates and 6 years of security patches. Keep in mind, however, that it will be launching with Android 15 on board, so the first one of those six updates will be Android 16. The back is made from glass fiber reinforced polymer, which is advertised as being stronger compared to the "Glastic" on the A16 5G. In the box will be a 25W charger, a USB Type-C cable, a SIM ejection tool, and a Quick Start Guide. Note that the presence of the charger in the box may vary depending on market. Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A17 5G is thinner and lighter, has a different chipset, and added OIS to the main camera. The design is changed too for the camera island, which is now one oval thing and not three separate round ones. That's about it, and this is definitely not the biggest upgrade. Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ in for review
When you think of Galaxy S25 Edge alternatives, your mind doesn't immediately jump to the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+, but maybe it should. This phone is a much closer match to the thin Galaxy than you'd think. At just 5.95mm, it's only slightly thicker than the S25 Edge (5.8mm). The Infinix is lighter, though, at just 155g, and it has a substantially larger 5,160mAh battery. What should sting Galaxy fans more is that the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ also has faster 45W charging. The Hot 60 Pro+ is also a more colorful phone, coming in at no less than seven colorways - Coral Tides, Misty Violet, Cyber Green, Sonic Yellow, as well as the more conservative Titanium Silver and Sleek Black. This green model has what Infinix calls a Scent Weave Leather finish. It's a textured surface with a grippy feel, and it feels excellent to the touch. The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ feels like a blade in the hand. Its curved front and rear panels are joined by a thin frame, making the package feel very refined. A thin frame The Hot 60 Pro+ looks very similar to the Hot 60 Pro from the front and back. But it's the profile that distinguishes the two. While the Pro+ has curving front and rear panels and a thin frame with rounded corners, the Pro has flat panels and a wide, flat side frame. The Hot 60 Pro is also heavier at 170g and a bit thicker at 6.6mm. The Hot 60 Pro+ on the left, Hot 60 Pro on the right Before we get going, here's a quick unboxing of the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+. It ships with a 45W charger, a USB cable, a tempered glass protector, and a hard plastic case.
