A Derma E scar gel reviewers love for its ability to sink into skin quickly *and* even how well it sits under makeup. And it can make a difference on both new and old scars. How does this work, you ask? The key ingredients are panthenol (which can help promote new skin cell production) and allantoin (which helps attract moisture to skin and can make wound-healing faster).
A lightweight Cosrx SPF 50+ sunscreen (the same brand as the TikTok-viral snail mucin!) for anyone who isn't always the best at applying sunscreen (every! day!). This sebum-balancing formula has a moisturizer-like texture, contains skincare ingredients like cacao and vitamin E, feels breathable on the skin, leaves a semi-matte finish, and (reviewers agree!) it doesn't have a white cast, so applying it will feel like less of a chore.
Vanicream, a sensitive skin-friendly moisturizer free of common irritants (and fragrance free!) reviewers love to use on their face *and* body. The included pump dispenser is great for easy application, and avoiding contamination the jar. Plus it has the seal of acceptance from the National Eczema Association!
A butt acne-clearing lotion formulated with tea tree oil to fight pimple-causing bacteria, helping clear existing acne and helping to prevent it from coming back in the long run. Reviewers use it on their thighs and back too, and say this lotion helps their skin feel suuuper soft!
Briotech spray with the same magical ingredient as the very beloved Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Spray: hypochlorous acid (something our body produces naturally as part of our immune system!). Just spritz it on whenever your skin needs a little de-stressing (like on a hot, sweaty day, while traveling, or after the gym), and it'll help soothe inflammation, tone down redness, and strengthen your skin's barrier.
A bottle of Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo formulated with 1% ketoconazole that doesn't just banish annoying flakes, but actually works to kill the fungus that causes dandruff. You can use it just twice a week, too.
A bottle of professional-grade callus-removing gel that can dissolve that pesky, hard dead skin in just a few minutes — for real, don't leave it on for more than that. Then just rinse, sand with a pumice stone or rasp, and enjoy those silky-smooth feet! If you love Baby Foot but hate waiting, this is a great option.
Medix retinol body lotion — if you've looked at your expensive facial retinol and thought "this is too expensive to slather on my body...but I want to" this is for you! Just like any retinol product, this is designed to help promote skin cell turnover, which can help visibly smooth crepe-iness, fine lines, rough and bumpy skin (like KP), and stretch marks, if that's something you're looking to do.
A piercing treatment to help tackle the bumps that are getting in the way of you showing off your excellent taste in jewelry! It takes time, but reviewers see a big difference when it comes to fading bumps and scars and helping fresh piercings heal properly.
Mielle's (TikTok-famous) Rosemary Mint strengthening oil reviewers swear by to nourish their scalps, strengthening and promoting hair growth at the root. It's formulated with biotin, moisturizing oils like jojoba, plus rosemary and mint oils, which can help stimulate the scalp.
AquaGuard, a pre-swim hair cream designed to protect your tresses from damaging chlorine (aka less dryness, fewer tangles, no turning green, and no icky chlorine smell!) — just dampen your hair, apply the cream, and dive in! Now you can play "mermaids" all you want without sacrificing your hair health.
An exfoliating mitten so you can scrub off dead skin cells and reveal softer, smoother skin during your Everything Showers. Just lather up and (gently!) massage your skin — reviewers say this is great for preventing ingrown hairs, helping reduce KP, and using before applying fake tan!
Or an exfoliating First Aid Beauty Bump eraser body scrub reviewers with KP (aka keratosis pilaris) swear by to get rid of those tiny red bumps, without slathering on any additional creams or products — just use in the shower instead of your regular soap.
Gold Bond Friction Defense, an easy-to-apply stick (just like deodorant!) to reduce friction and moisturize skin wherever you deal with painful chafing when your skin rubs together, especially when the mercury rises. It's unscented and invisible too!
L'Occitane's fast-absorbing shea butter hand cream, because if you have dry, cracked hands or just hate the feeling of papery hands post-washing when you're on the go, you need this lil' guy in your bag. And there's no overly greasy feeling after, either!
A saline nasal mist that can help moisturize dry nasal passages and irrigate to wash away mucus and allergens, which can in turn help relieve symptoms from colds and allergies. When is pollen season going to end again??
A roll-on sunscreen sponge to help you do what you need to do this summer: reapply your sunscreen every two hours. But with this handy lil guy, you can just sponge it right on, and it'll keep your hands mess-free! Idk about you, but I hate that greasy, sunscreen-y feeling on my hands when I'm at the beach.
And if you don't get those, or reapply as often as they suggest, a Burt's Bees sunburn soother so you have it on hand before you get sunburned. Even when we do our best, sometimes it happens!
SweatBlock antiperspirant wipes, which are designed to reduce excess sweating for *up to seven days*(!!). Just swipe on before bed, and kiss those pit stains that ruin your favorite shirts goodbye. They're designed to be used for under the arms, but reviewers use them elsewhere too!
A manual "flossing" toothbrush with extra soft bristles in two layers that are super thin at the tip (as thin as human hair) and designed to reach places other toothbrushes might not. Especially when paired with actual flossing, reviewers say they're left with a "fresh from the dentist" clean!
O'Keeffe's Lip Repair, a lip sleeping mask from the brand behind the cult-favorite Working Hand and Healthy Feet creams — and just like those borderline miraculous products, reviewers say this balm will heal and repair dry, cracking, chapped lips like no other product has.
Gold Bond's firming neck and chest cream — it's not only your face that deserves a skincare routine! This is formulated with salicylic acid for chemically exfoliating that delicate skin (without harsh scrubbing) plus glycerine and aloe for plenty of hydration. Reviewers are surprised at the results they get but note that it does take time. So don't forget to take a before photo, and get to slathering!
Compound W One Step Pads designed to break down common and plantar warts with minimal effort, so you can enjoy the same gloriously dramatic results as the reviewers below. Just apply and replace the medicated, salicylic acid-infused bandages every 48 hours for best results.
Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask you can wear overnight for a serious boost of hydration, firming, and brightening — even reducing the appearance of pores and fine lines. Reviewers say they noticed a difference in just one use *and* that people stopped to compliment their skin! Btw, once you wake up and see where the mask has become transparent, you'll know the serum is absorbed — how cool is that?
CeraVe Retinol Serum that lives up to the CeraVe name and uses *encapsulated* retinol to reduce the appearance of scars and pores without flaking or redness. If you haven't gotten into retinoids yet or are worried about irritating your skin, this gentle but effective serum is a great option — and reviewers say they like it better than other more expensive options (like Murad's Retinol Serum, which retails for $92).
Or prescription-strength (but not prescription-priced) Differin Retinoid gel, because it's a true classic for a reason. It is designed to promote and "normalize" skin cell turnover, which can help clear existing breakouts, combat inflammation, and prevent the actual production of acne in the future. And since retinol increases collagen, it can help with fine lines and wrinkles as well!
Cosrx's snail mucin repairing essence that may seem like it would give you the ick, but is totally worth adding to your routine. No snail-like results here: Just pat it in the evening, and you'll be appreciating the moisture boost right away. Reviewers say it helps with acne, inflammation, peeling, fine lines, and even eczema!
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, a cult-favorite body cream you're going to want to slather all over your body, thanks to the deep hydration (cupuaçu butter, coconut oil, and açai oil!) and temporary skin-tightening (caffeine!) it provides, plus a fragrance with notes of salted caramel and vanilla that reviewers L O V E.
My all-time desert island holy grail, CeraVe's Skin Renewing night cream, which delivers on hydration and softness and protects your skin's natural barrier — I won't use an expensive night cream again. There's a reason people can't stop talking about CeraVe on TikTok!
Mighty Patch Pimple Patches, which absorb pus and oil from *inside* the zit, protecting skin from further damage and reinfection so you're not tempted to hot compress, pop, ooze, scar, and repeat. They also come in an ~invisible~ version that (as someone who has used them) is indeed surprisingly hard to see.
And hydrocolloid nose patches (from the same brand) that target your whole nose all at once, absorbing gunk and oil from multiple pimples and pores all at once and trapping it so you can toss it right in the trash. Say goodbye to those damaging adhesive nose strips once and for all!
Veet's sensitive hair removal gel cream, a great option if you prefer to say "so long" to body hair...but don't love other methods like shaving or waxing. If you're easily irritated or are prone to ingrowns, this might be the perfect option for you! Several reviewers tout the "dolphin-smooth" results. ::cue echolocation noises of glee::
An ergonomically designed detangling brush with cone-shaped bristles that separate tangles by pulling them apart sideways, not tugging them down. Reviewers say it's a miracle worker for everything from thick, coily hair to the finest strands!
A satin pillowcase to help maintain hair and skin health even as you sleep, reducing pesky frizz and breakage when compared with regular cotton or other fiber pillowcases — that means longer-lasting blowouts and less damage in the long run. Why spend the money on pricey brands like Slip and Blissy?
A nongreasy eye cream designed to help deflate your under eye bags, hydrate your delicate skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and brighten your under eyes, thanks to a blend of aloe, rosehip seed oil, and vitamins C & E.
A bottle of Elizavecca Hair Treatment for an intense at-home mask that'll help your strands look and feel less damaged in just five minutes. It's basically a time machine for your hair, is what I'm saying. Some reviewers say it's even BETTER than Olaplex, which is over three times the price!
TruSkin vitamin C serum formulated with hyaluronic acid (to provide a boost of hydration), soothing aloe vera, and vitamin E (in addition to the namesake vitamin C) — a combo designed to brighten and smooth your skin for your glowiest glow yet. And money-saving alert: reviewers say it's comparable to the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum (which costs $182 for the full-size btw!).
Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil, a K-beauty cult-fave you can use as step one of your double cleanse. Just apply to dry skin and gently massage, then emulsify with water to dissolve makeup and sunscreen and remove sebum and the day's grime, leaving your skin refreshed but not stripped. Reviewers *swear* by it for helping reduce blackheads and sebaceous filaments, too!
Or! For a balm option, Juno & Co.'s Clean 10 cleansing balm formulated with Japanese pearl barley to help brighten skin as it cleanses. Just scoop out a pea-sized amount (it comes with a lil' spatula!) and massage into your skin — it'll become a luxurious oil and gently dissolve allllll the makeup, SPF, dirt, oil, and more, leaving no residue behind *and* not overly stripping skin of moisture.
A bottle of CND SolarOil, a nail and cuticle oil to help your nails grow and grow (no peeling!), and keep your cuticles nourished and soft, no matter how much hand sanitizer you're using. Just massage in the jojoba oil and vitamin E infused formula daily.
Radha rosehip oil to not only soften skin and lock in moisture (just like other oils), but also help reduce redness and breakouts, thanks to the rich blend of vitamins A, C, and E, fatty acids and anti-inflammatory antioxidants.
SoCozy curl conditioning spray, which was designed with kiddos' curls in mind, but works for reviewers of all ages! This leave-in conditioner moisturizes and helps improve curl definition and elasticity with just a few quick spritzes, which is great for impatient kids *and* grownups with limited time.
A bottle of Tend Skin Solution to stop ingrown hairs and skin irritation in their tracks, making it the perfect post-shaving product with a cult following for a reason.

Nara Smith Is Growing Healthy Hair 'From Scratch' With Vegamour

Nara Smith for Vegamour Courtesy of Vegamour Nara Smith's name alone has been spoken, written, and shared everywhere, from headlines and videos and group chats talking about the latest of her videos gracing the 'FYP.' Smith is known for her soft-spoken voiceovers, so soothing they're almost jarring, and her 'from scratch' recipes that range from homemade gum and toothpaste to kids' cereal. All of this is done while wearing outfits that are as opulent as they are ridiculous, adding to her distinct online persona. One of the least controversial yet increasingly talked-about 'Nara-isms' recently making its way into comment sections and headlines is her hair. Smith, who suffers from advanced eczema that affects both her scalp and body, has opened up about what she calls an 'emotional' hair journey. In a TikTok video, she shared that she hadn't worn her hair naturally curly in over two years due to the upkeep required alongside her eczema. Ultimately, she made the decision to 'cut it all off and wear it straight.' Which is why this campaign with Vegamour feels especially meaningful. Known for focusing primarily on cooking and family content, Smith steps into a new space by partnering with Vegamour for their hair growth supplement, GRO+ and notably, wearing her natural texture. The GRO+ line takes a holistic approach to hair health, mirroring Smith's own philosophy when it comes to food, conditioner, toothpaste, etc. The supplement targets often-overlooked biological causes of hair thinning, including hormonal imbalances, inflammation, oxidative stress, and scalp aging. Each daily dose includes two complementary formulas: a botanical DHT-blocking capsule and a nutrient-rich vitamin softgel. According to Vegamour, in a 120-day clinical trial conducted by Zurko Research, "users saw up to a 91% reduction in shedding, 89% improvement in density, and 100% reported hair that looked and felt healthier by the end of the study period." And within the first month, participants began to notice a difference with "hair shaft thickness outperforming the placebo group and continuing to improve throughout the trial." Below, we caught up with Smith about her journey with her hair and this partnership in an exclusive interview. You've been pretty candid about your hair journey and how eczema has totally reshaped how you do your hair. I'm sure, now more than ever, you're using products that aid in the recovery process. What stuck out about Vegamour's products that interested you in working with them? For me, it's about creating a routine that supports my hair over time, and Vegamour really aligned with that philosophy. Living with eczema has made me hyper-aware of what I put on and in my body, especially when it comes to my scalp and skin. What really drew me to Vegamour is that nothing feels like a compromise. The GRO+ Advanced Hair Growth & Density Supplements have become a little ritual I look forward to in the morning. I keep the sachets next to my tea and vitamins, and I just take them after breakfast. It's wild how much internal health impacts your hair, especially once you find something that really works with your biology. The first shot of the campaign opens up to the supplements on a kitchen island, paying homage to your iconic cooking TikTok's and voiceovers. What was it like to have been so integral to the creative of this campaign? Was it collaborative? It was such a full-circle moment. I loved that Vegamour leaned into who I am and made the campaign feel like an extension of my world, not just a product plug. From the beginning, it was super collaborative, they really valued my voice and perspective. I got to bring in my glam team, and we worked closely on everything from wardrobe to mood. I even had input on many of the shots, which made it feel so personal and honest. This is also one of the first times we're seeing your hair styled longer and curly like this in a big campaign. Was this a decision of yours, and what did that conversation look like? How would you describe your hair? Walk me through your hair journey a little bit. Yes! That was really important to me. And Vegamour was immediately on board, which meant so much. What made this moment even more special is that I'm actually wearing extensions in the campaign, and I'm so happy about it. It's the first time my scalp has been healthy enough to handle them. That may seem small, but for someone who's struggled with eczema and sensitivity for so long, it's a huge win. My hair journey hasn't been linear—eczema, postpartum shifts, breakage… I've been through it. But I've learned to care for it with more patience, more gentleness. And now I truly love its softness, its versatility, and the strength it's come back with.

Airplane passenger's life-saving allergy request sparks harsh backlash

This tentative traveler drove fellow flyers nuts. After boarding an easyJet flight, content creator Dan Kelly, who posts on TikTok as @_maycontain, filmed his interaction with a flight attendant, whom he immediately pulled aside to note his severe nut allergies. Though the airline banned the sale of peanuts on its flights several years back, and asks passengers not to bring snacks containing nuts onboard, Kelly often lets cabin crews know about his allergy, which he claims can be triggered by nut particles in the air. Advertisement 3 Kelly suggests passengers with severe allergies pack several Epi-Pens that can remain handy whenever. Instagram/@_maycontain The prudent passenger also asked if the cabin crew could make an announcement to other travellers, letting them know that this flight would have to be nut-free for his own safety. The friendly flight attendant asked the TikTokker where his seat was, and inquired whether or not he had any EpiPens, before sending him on his way, worry-free. Advertisement 'I love it when [flight attendants] understand straight away,' the content creator wrote in the comments, praising the steward for his pragmatism and no-nonsense attitude. @_maycontain Surely people can go without nuts for a few hours if it could save someone's life! Honestly, I don't understand why some people still don't take food allergies seriously. If it were you or your child living with a life-threatening allergy, you'd hope others would show a bit more empathy and recognise just how serious it really is! ✈️If you travelling or going abroad with a food allergy, make sure to check the 🔗 in my bio #allergy #foodallergy #allergies #easyjet ♬ original sound – May Contain The content creator's page is dedicated to bringing awareness and understanding to allergy-related issues. Typically, his videos range from demonstrating proper Epi-Pen use to offering up his experience on dating while living with a serious allergy. Advertisement 'I've had a severe nut allergy since I was 5. It impacts my daily life constantly; living with the fear of a reaction is exhausting, and it's even more intense when traveling abroad,' Kelly told Newsweek. 'Every time I fly, I ask the airline to make an announcement just in case someone nearby starts eating nuts,' Kelly added as even minor exposure — through air particles or surface contact — can trigger a reaction. 'If someone eats nuts, doesn't wash their hands, then touches me, that could trigger it.' 3 Though many flight attendants don't mind making the announcements, airlines also typically state that they cannot guarantee a fully nut-free environment. SPS Media – Though many were sympathetic to Kelly's fear of mid-flight anaphylaxis — which could be triggered by touching or inhaling nearby nut residue — others weren't so willing to give up their salty snacks. Advertisement 'Your ticket should cost more if you being on the plane changes the rules for everyone else against their consent,' argued one harsh commenter, while another said, 'Since when has an entire group accommodating to a single individual become the norm? One person shouldn't dictate what a plane load of people can and cannot eat.' 3 The TikTokker was flying from Pisa to London. TikTok/@_maycontain While some commenters advised Kelly to wear gloves and a mask for additional protection, one user offered an entirely different — and somewhat ruthless — suggestion. 'It's a choice to fly, you don't have to. Why should everyone else have to worry about you? Just because you want to get on a plane,' criticized one viewer. 'I booked this ticket strictly to eat plane peanuts, it's not fair,' quipped a dry-witted commenter, referring to the wave of backlash Kelly received — which several other users also dubbed 'ridiculous.' 'Imagine how annoying it would be to have to emergency land in the middle of nowhere because someone couldn't resist a granola bar and it nearly killed another person,' reasoned another viewer. Advertisement While allergies are lifelong conditions for many, new research surrounding the affliction has proven that, in some instances, it is possible to cure a nut allergy. However, until these procedures become more commonplace, Kelly simply asks that his fellow passengers opt for an alternative snack while stuck in a pressurized cabin miles above the ground.

Foster Cat Kept Crying—Woman Realizes 'She Was Trying To Tell Me Something'

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A cat's nonstop crying after being brought home to a foster home helped the woman realize there was a meaning behind the meows—save her kitty brother. When Vivian Powers went to foster a new kitten, she was pulled in by a cat's grouchy face. The feline, named Sissy, seemed fearful, and Powers hoped she could give her the attention she needed before getting adopted. She fosters animals who need one-on-one time to feel safe. "My husband has a one foster at a time rule, and so I chose the most-fearful kitten to work with," Powers told Newsweek via email. However, she said she quickly learned that Sissy wouldn't stop crying for 48 hours straight. The terrified cat hid, unable to unwind. The only time she noticed Sissy not crying was when she played a cat video. Sissy fell silent, poking her head out at the meows. "That's when I knew she was a cat's cat," Powers said. She took another trip to the animal shelter in Germany to bring home a friend for Sissy. Her brother, Toto, was still in the shelter where they had been brought in four months earlier. Powers learned he was diagnosed with feline infectious peritonitis [FIP], a serious and often-fatal virus caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus. Heartbroken, Powers immediately stepped in to foster Toto. She couldn't stand the thought of him dying in the shelter. She said a local woman offered to donate the medication only if she committed to keeping Toto through the full treatment. Powers happily accepted. "Sissy was very happy to see Toto when I brought him home," Powers said. "She was hiding on top of the bathroom cabinet, so I held Toto and showed him to her." Her July 5 TikTok video, posted to the account @pawsitiveinfluenc, shared Sissy's immediate transformation after Powers brought home her brother. From being scared and hiding, to coming out of her shell, Sissy used her cries to help get her brother back. Powers wrote on the video, "She was trying to tell me something," which ultimately led to saving Toto's life. Screenshots from a July 5 TikTok video of Sissy the foster cat crying nonstop for 48 hours. Screenshots from a July 5 TikTok video of Sissy the foster cat crying nonstop for 48 hours. @pawsitiveinfluenc/TikTok However, because of Toto's sickness, Powers said these kittens had different foster experiences. Toto barely moved due to his low energy. His treatment was "long and intense," lasting a total of 84 days. "What was really funny is that the moment he saw my dog, he ran for him and completely ignored Sissy," she said. "It was a love triangle." Another cat in the house, thankfully, helped Sissy come out of her shell. She understood her brother needed time to heal, which allowed her to gain independence. She played by herself, and watched TV with Powers and her husband. Her grouchy face softened. Now, both Sissy and Toto are with their forever families, making Powers feel that her role as a foster parent had been "fulfilled." Her dog's therapist ended up adopting Toto after helping him when Powers reached out for advice to relieve some of his discomfort. The therapist fell in love with Toto. Unfortunately, the male cat relapsed and was diagnosed with neurological FIP. Powers said he is on day 37 of 84 in his second round of treatment. "It was never about them being bonded; it was about how [Sissy] saved his life," Powers said. "She absolutely gets credit for it because I would have never gone to the shelter if it wasn't for her crying nonstop." Viewer Reactions Touched by the power of sibling love, the TikTok video reached over 3.6 million views and more than 613,000 likes as of Monday. "Her facial features literally changed, thank you," wrote one person. Another added: "Sobbing. They needed each other." A third user commented: "You can tell she was MAD. So cute she wanted her brother to be with her."
