'They had nothing': Donald Trump questions why Democrats didn't release Epstein files if it is 'smoking gun'- Is US President planning to publish it?
US President Donald Trump on Friday questioned why Democrats, during their control of the Senate and White House, failed to disclose the Jeffrey Epstein-related files if it is a "smoking gun". "If there was a 'smoking gun' on Epstein, why didn't the Dems, who controlled the 'files' for four years, and had [former Attorney General Merrick] Garland and [ex-prosecutor Maureen] Comey in charge, use it," Trump posted on Truth Social. "BECAUSE THEY HAD NOTHING!!!" he continued. This statement followed his instruction to Attorney General Pam Bondi to release relevant grand jury testimony in the Epstein case. This decision came after both Trump supporters and Democrats pressed for additional information about the investigation. "Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein , I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval," Trump announced on Truth Social Thursday evening. "This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!" On platform X, Bondi confirmed the justice department would "move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No annual fees for life UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Trump's supporters have advocated for additional document releases since last week when the Justice Department and FBI issued a joint memo stating Epstein's 2019 death was self-inflicted and that no "client list" existed. The directive to Bondi was issued shortly before The Wall Street Journal published details about an alleged letter Trump supposedly wrote for Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003. According to the Journal, the letter was typed within a naked woman's outline and concluded with "Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret." Trump strongly refuted the Journal's report, announcing legal action. "President Trump will be suing The Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Mr. Murdoch, shortly," he stated online. "The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don't even exist."

Sarkar also allegedly mocked Kannada cuisine and culture, calling it 'natak' (drama) and questioned its status.
