Gadwal: Yoga is not merely a form of exercise, but a comprehensive discipline encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual practices, said Pacharla Thimmareddy, Headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School, Medikonda. He emphasized that Yoga originated in India and has been practiced for thousands of years, forming a vital part of the country's ancient heritage.
In celebration of International Yoga Day, a special yoga session was organized today on the school premises under the supervision of Physical Director Jagadeesh. During the event, students were trained in performing various yoga asanas (postures).
Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Thimmareddy stated that yoga is a holistic way of life that unites the body, mind, and soul. He explained the numerous health benefits of practicing yoga regularly, such as:
Enhancing muscle strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance
Improving digestion and blood circulation
Boosting the immune system
Reducing stress, anxiety, and depression
Sharpening concentration and memory
Promoting mental peace and emotional stability
He further encouraged students and teachers to make yoga a part of their daily routine for a healthier and more focused life.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and the teaching staff, making it a memorable and inspiring celebration of International Yoga Day at the school.

" The Heal in Rajasthan Policy is designed to promote investments through the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS), the Rajasthan industrial development policy, and the tourism policy. Another crucial decision included approval to the Township Policy 2025, aimed at promoting planned and sustainable urban development across the state. " The policy mandates that residential townships reserve 7% of land for parks and playgrounds, and 8% for public utilities. For industrial townships, 5% land will be earmarked for workers' housing. Additionally, 2.5% land will be held in reserve until project handover to the residents' welfare association or for up to five years after project completion. Vizianagaram: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) outreach, Agrifields, a global agricultural solutions company, organised free medical camp and school sports day on Saturday in Rellivalasa village, Pusapatirega mandal of Vizianagaram district. The health initiative included a door-to-door awareness drive followed by a full-day medical camp, benefiting over 200 villagers. Free screenings were conducted for blood pressure, sugar levels, and general wellness. Doctors provided consultations, medicines, and nutrition advice at free of cost. 'Many villagers learned of health issues for the first time. We began their treatment immediately,' said Amit Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO of Agrifields. In parallel, Agrifields supported a vibrant sports and academic celebration at Zilla Parishad High School, Rellivalasa. Over 250 students participated in games like kabaddi and kho-kho. Prizes were distributed to winners, and cash awards were given to five top-performing students, including a girl who lost both parents, in a gesture of encouragement.
