Three hurt in Highland crash involving stolen car
Three people have been taken to hospital and a dog has died after a crash involving a stolen car in the services were called to the collision on the A96 at Newton of Petty, near Inverness, at about 08: 50-year-old female driver of a red Vauxhall Corsa and a 74-year-old passenger of a black Volvo XC60 have been flown to hospital in Aberdeen. The Volvo's male driver, 74, was taken by road ambulance to said the Corsa had earlier been reported stolen from the Buckie area in Moray. Person taken to hospital after fire at sheltered housing
One person has been taken to hospital after fire broke out at a sheltered housing complex in Newton Mearns, East Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said crews found a "well-developed" blaze when they arrived at Mearnsview Court on Broomburn Drive on Friday appliances were sent to tackle a fire at a second-floor flat in a three-storey building after the alarm was raised at about 10:30. One person has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, while four others were treated at the scene.

Woman with pram sexually assaulted in Bridgwater
A woman was sexually assaulted while she was pushing a pram, police say.A man reportedly tried to engage her in an unwanted conversation on 6 July while she was walking on Northgate in Bridgwater, woman became distressed when he followed her and she sought help from a couple to stop his advances, who Avon and Somerset Police want to speak to, the force said.A 37-year-old man from Kingston-Upon-Hull in East Yorkshire was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and released under investigation. Sgt Nicola Brown said the force was not aware of any similar incidents and officers had carried out reassurance patrols. The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a black T-shirt with reflective strips, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers."We are aware there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and would ask anybody who witnessed the incident or has any relevant information which could assist our enquiries to come forward," Sgt Brown added.
