Hunter Biden ripped George Clooney and several other prominent left-leaning critics of his father, former President Joe Biden, in a scathing rant on Monday.
The younger Biden, during an interview on the 'Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan' YouTube show, blasted Clooney, CNN anchor Jake Tapper, Democratic strategists David Axelrod and James Carville and the four hosts of 'Pod Save America.'

'F–k you. What do you have to do with f–king anything? Why do I have to f–king listen to you?' Hunter Biden said about Clooney. 'What right do you have to step on a man who's given 52 years of his f–king life to the service of this country and decide that you, George Clooney, are going to take out, basically, a full page ad in the f–king New York Times [to criticize Joe Biden].'
He was, of course, referring to Clooney's 2024 op-ed in the Times titled 'I Love Joe Biden. But We Need a New Nominee,' in which the actor urged Democrats to replace the former president as their 2024 candidate. Clooney, in his story, said President Biden's disastrous performance during a debate against Donald Trump last June was not an anomaly, but rather indicative of the cognitive decline he was showing behind-the-scenes to fundraisers and advisors.
A moment earlier, the younger Biden said Clooney was a guy known having 'a really great place in Lake Como' and for being 'great friends with Barack Obama' — but not for being a political junkie.
Hunter Biden just went off on the Democratic Party:"Fuck him and everybody around him… George Clooney is not a fucking an actor. He's a brand.""James Carville hasn't won a race in 40 fucking years.""David Axelrod had one success in his political life and that was Barack… pic.twitter.com/Cdk9t29gwZ

Hunter Biden then skewered several others who have been critical of his father, including Tapper, who recently co-authored 'Original Sin,' a book looking at Biden's cognitive decline while in office. Tapper, during a media tour for the book in May, said there was 'not enough' coverage of President Biden's cognitive decline, including from himself. The CNN star's ratings took a noticeable hit while he was promoting his book alongside Alex Thompson — something the younger Biden pointed out on Monday.
'Who's Jake Tapper's audience?' Biden asked Callaghan, who laughed and said 'my mom, or something.'
'I don't even think it's your mom anymore, by the numbers,' Hunter Biden continued. 'What influences Jake Tapper have over anything? He has the smallest audience on cable news … his ratings just went to sh-t after he put the book out. You know, they did a two-week infomercial for it. I mean, it was such a money grab.'
Hunter Biden also mocked Carville, who helped Bill Clinton win the 1992 election, as someone who has not won a race in '40 f–king years' and Axelrod as someone who was riding the coattails of Obama to political relevancy. He also blasted the left-leaning 'Pod Save America' quartet for being a bunch of 'junior f–king speech writers' for Obama who were 'dining out' on their relationship with the former president.

Jasmine Crockett tried ‘shutting down' Atlantic reporter for asking lawmakers about her for a friendly profile

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) lashed out at an Atlantic magazine reporter last week after the journalist reached out to other House lawmakers as part of a profile on the far-left congresswoman. '[F]our days before this story was published, Crockett called me to express frustration that I had reached out to so many House members without telling her first,' Atlantic writer Elaine Godfrey noted in her story, which was published by the magazine on Sunday. 'She was, she told me, 'shutting down the profile and revoking all permissions,'' Godfrey continued. Crockett has been an outspoken critic of President Trump and Republicans. Getty Images for ESSENCE It's unclear how Crockett intended to shut down the profile or why she fumed over the reporter contacting other lawmakers, which is standard journalistic practice. Crockett's office did not respond to The Post's request for comment. The profile included quotes from several House Democrats praising Crockett. 'I don't want people to lose sight of the fact that this is someone with a very fine, legally trained mind,' Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) said of the Texas Democrat, who graduated from the University of Houston law school and is a former public defender. 'People don't necessarily agree with her aggressive communication style,' Rep. Julie Johnson (D-Texas) said. 'I'm thrilled she's doing it, because we need it all.' Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) told the outlet that Crockett is 'one of the strongest fighters we have,' and that Democrats 'should be taking notes on the kinds of skills she exemplifies.' The profile included several glowing quotes about Crockett from Democratic lawmakers, though several refused to comment, according to the reporter. Getty Images However, Godfrey noted that several other Democrats refused to discuss Crockett on the record. Senior Democratic staffers explained that some of Crockett's colleagues find her 'undisciplined' but are 'reluctant to criticize her publicly.' 'She likes to talk,' one of the staffers told Godfrey. 'Is she a loose cannon? Sometimes. Does that cause headaches for other members? 100 percent.' During her time with Crockett, Godfrey observed that the congresswoman 'speaks casually' and 'can also be brusque.' Crockett also 'monitors social-media engagement like a day trader' and is 'highly conscious' about her 'self-presentation,' the reporter found. 'During many of our conversations, Crockett wore acrylic nails painted with the word RESIST, and a set of heavy lashes over her brown eyes,' Godfrey wrote, noting that 'the lock screen on her phone is a headshot of herself.'

Daniel Silva's new spy thriller came together in just six months: ‘I work all day, every day, seven days a week'

Another summer reading op Award-winning Daniel Silva: 'My new book 'An Inside Job' is my 28th. Each hit the best-seller list. I'm now in airports and hotel rooms publicizing it.' Translated into 30 languages, this latest in his international Gabriel Allon spy series is about the Vatican robbery of a papal masterpiece. Silva: 'HarperCollins' schedule is only six months to write. To survive I do similar things constantly. Same clothes, sleep three hours, up early because my head's working. I work all day, every day, seven days a week. My phone's in a different room, the Internet's ignored, distractions are cut. I focus. I stay at it all the time to get it done. The cover of Silva's new book 'An Inside Jobs.' 'While writing I couldn't even see the ending because of the story's major twists. Otherwise, I just can't pull it off. Harper's provides private editing so even typos don't slip through. It's only six months to write a book a year. Very short time. My Gabriel Allon character is a Venice-based art restorer. This one was inspired by a recent financial scandal at the Vatican. The real story is a cardinal was once on trial, first ever, before a Vatican tribunal. Embezzlement. Real estate deal gone bad. The Vatican lost hundreds of millions of euros. 'I borrowed that incident, added a Leonardo da Vinci stolen painting and turned it into an inside job. To write this I even had to learn to paint like da Vinci.' Born in Kalamazoo, Mich., educated in California, worked in Washington at CNN, wrote his first book in secret, is married to journalist Jamie Gangel. So Silva's opinion on guns? 'Don't like them. We have too many of them. This country has more guns than people.' Paint the town dread Agreed that America can never be destroyed by its Instant Geniuses. But New York — the greatest smartest toughest richest chunk of land on the planet — is hobbling. Also aging. Our whole city has athlete's foot. Bridges not bridging, rivers overflowing, forest fires, airplanes crashing, torrential rains, crushing heat, big-time poverty, school system busted, medical system busted, haters, demonstrators, shops closing, prices rising, people moving, trains fearsome, food expensive, cops quitting, politicians fighting, senators like New Jersey's in prison, traffic impassable — but, listen, all's not bad. Thune's pre-August ambassador spree

President Trump is outpacing former President Biden — and even his own first-term clip — in getting his ambassadors confirmed by the Senate. Why it matters: Trump wants to go even faster. Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) is threatening to keep the chamber in session this weekend to clear more of Trump's nominations. But Democrats have been unwilling to speed up the process and are withholding unanimous consent for nominees — a practice Republicans grumble is a departure from tradition. By the numbers: Trump has 26 ambassadorial nominees who are awaiting a full Senate vote. This includes former Rep. Mike Waltz, whom the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved last week to be Trump's UN envoy. Nineteen of those nominees are ambassadors to foreign countries. The Senate has confirmed 11 of Trump's ambassadors to foreign countries so far, compared to six confirmations before August in the initial year of his first term. Biden didn't have a single ambassador confirmed before August in the first year of his term. Former Presidents Bush and Obama had both confirmed more than 20, but that was when the opposition party was not putting up quite as much of a procedural fight. What to watch: The Foreign Relations Committee will take up another five ambassador nominees in a hearing on Tuesday.
